Dr. Howard M Steinberg

Dr. Steinberg is a very knowledgeable and professional Prosthodontist in a highly technical field. He was there for me in presurgical preparation for a left partial maxillectomy, and then followed up with numerous visits to see that the prosthetic he made for me, would comfortably provide me with the best ability to speak, eat, and drink as close to my original normal as possible. He was a Godsend at a time when I needed him most. His staff is a wonderful group of people which are not only efficient but are also thoughtful and considerate of their patients. Thank you all for a job well done!

If you want to go to the best dentist in Tucson, there is no doubt in my mind that that is Dr. Howard Steinberg. I’ve been seeing Dr. Steinberg for about eight years now for all my dental needs but most importantly for a six tooth bridge that he did for me which included my top front two teeth. Obviously a big and important job to me. The results were fantastic. I get compliments on my “beautiful smile“ all the time. He is simply the best and his staff is fantastic also. From the front desk folks, to his dental assistants, to the hygienists who work with him, everyone is five stars.

Christy is THE BOMB, when it comes to dental hygiene! Her teeth cleanings are fast but thorough, she has great suggestions, and she helped my mouth and me, to go from Absolutely Horrid to Absolutely Fabulous! Eighteen million stars, if I could: the best of the best!

Dr Steinberg and colleagues are exceptional. He was successful in restoring my wife’s 40+years old implant bridge work after we had been told by at least six other dentists- including another prosthodontist-that restoration was impossible. Dr. Howard Steinberg was able to place and restore my dental implant without needing to send me to an oral surgeon or some other implant specialist. Before I came to him, I went to a couple dentists in Tucson that advertised dental implants only to discover they would refer me to someone else to get the dental implant placed in my mouth. Steinberg was able to do everything, from the dental implant surgery to the final tooth restoration. His skill is obvious. I never felt any real pain during my surgery and haven’t had any problem since. It’s like having my original tooth back in my mouth. I have been with Dr. Steinberg and his staff for several years. After a car accident that left me with cracked teeth and a number of other oral traumas, Dr. Steinberg and Sylvia helped me with 14 crowns, which turned out beautifully. I currently see his hygienist Leti who is very gentle and kind. The best part of my visits has always been, and continues to be, the front desk ladies—Kathy in particular! I am a practicing dentist in Tucson AZ and I have had crowns placed by Dr. Steinberg placed on my teeth. it has been a few years now and I have had no problem what so ever with the crown from day one. I was seen by Dr. Howard M. Steinberg on an emergency basis for a broken implant supported dental bridge. He was able to arrange for a last-minute surgery to remove a failed dental implant. Dr. Steinberg replaced the dental implant and restored my broken bridge the next day. He performed the work quickly with professionalism, compassion and vast knowledge. Since I was in a car accident at age 19, I’ve been to a lot of dental specialists in my life for dental implants, bridges and surgeries. I can honestly say, Dr. Steinberg and his team were hands down the best dentistry experience I have ever had.

The office manager simply didn't want to be bothered, and basically told us to find someone cheaper. Very short and tactless.

He left my wife with a dislocated jaw after he tried to pull out the plaster model of her teeth, she left and pushed it back into place, but went back again another day anyway for further treatment. The next time he drilled into a healthy tooth by mistake, then told here to go elsewhere for a root canal to relieve the pain with the understanding that he would pay for the expense. The root canal was performed but Steinberg refused to pay. She did not go back again.

Dr. Steinberg is the best prosthodontist in Tucson, and I would not go anywhere else for my dental implants!

I think I made a mistake come to his office to get second opinion. Dr. Howard shouldn't critical about other dentist when he doesn't know what the other dentist had done for the patient. Wrong thinking. I didn't know consultation for free, or had to pay. Any bodies know how many dentists out there charged their clients for consultation?. Twenty-five years ago I lost a front tooth to "internal resorption" and consulted Dr. Steinberg, who created a bridge to hold the false tooth and-- perfectionist that he is--veneers on two more teeth. Today I am still biting into apples and getting compliments on my "beautiful smile." The work he did is beautiful and it has lasted. I couldn't be more pleased! When I went looking for a dental implant provider in Tucson, Dr. Howard M. Steinberg was the only one that clearly explained his procedure and how he would do everything from the implant surgery to the final restoration at his practice. After having a CT scan, he placed 4 dental implants in my lower jaw. The implants were inserted quickly and painlessly. A temporary dental bridge was immediately attached to the implants, so I had a working set of teeth right away. Dr. Steinberg attached the final bridge about two weeks later. I was comfortable during the entire procedure. My new bridge works perfectly, and the four dental implants that hold it firmly in place are hardly noticeable. I can now eat anything, and I no longer have the pain or embarrassment I had for years wearing a removable denture.

Not only is Dr. Howard M. Steinberg an excellent dentist, he's an artist in the cosmetic restoration of teeth. The work he did on my teeth s nothing short of perfection. Ten dental crowns completely changed not only my smile, but my confidence to smile again. The work took time, due to the careful approach that Dr. Steinberg took. He redid dental work from a previous dentist that wasn't that old, because the crown didn't fit properly. Steinberg cords all your teeth when fitting crowns, a process of pushing the gum upward to insure a proper fit. Not only was the color spot on, but my teeth look like they did thirty years ago before wear and tear had taken its toll. This decision was better than getting a face lift.

I am, and will always be, indebted to Dr. Steinberg. He is a gifted, caring, consummate professional who settles for nothing less than perfection. The before and after treatment photos clearly validate Dr. Steinberg’s superior expertise and commitment to his patients. The amount of work I needed was extensive; however, the total amount of pain I ever felt was perhaps 5 seconds. He reinvented my smile, which exponentially improved my appearance, self-esteem and confidence beyond my greatest expectations. My childhood dentistry experiences resulted in having an aversion to dentists throughout my life. As a result, visits for oral checkups were solely initiated when the pain overshadowed my paralyzing fear. The appearance of my teeth was a constant embarrassment. I was referred to Dr. Steinberg by my regular dentist in Tucson, because I had major dental wear on my teeth and needed advanced dental work. Dr. Steinberg placed dental implants in my upper jaw and made a new dental bridge for me. My six new front teeth are absolutely beautiful. Not only are they whiter, they are longer and stronger than my original teeth. I get compliments all the time on my new smile. Dr. Howard Steinberg is a perfectionist and a prosthodontist of the highest order.

Dr. Steinberg is such an amazing dentist. His passion for his patients is phenomenal!

Dr. Steinberg sometimes is slightly abrupt but I got used to him quickly and developed a good patient/doctor relationship. I don't believe there could have been a better doctor due to my injury. The first interview with him gave me a great deal of hope that I might be able to look and function about as normally as before my injury. Dr. Steinberg came through for me and as far as how my moth looks and functions he has done a fantastic job for me. The device he made for me fit perfectly the first time I put it in my mouth and has continued working perfectly ever since. Untreated tooth grinding (bruxism) destroyed my smile. Sought the advice of several dentists who gave me a wide variety of fixes and price ranges that just confused me. I was finally referred to Dr. Steinberg. He was the first to explain my condition thoroughly and provide me with a detailed treatment plan that involved the correction of my bite, the prevention of further grinding damage and the restoration of my teeth. Dr. Steinberg is an awesome dental specialist, but you should also know he treats snoring and sleeping disorders. He helped me with a custom oral appliance for my sleep apnea. After years of hearing complaints from my wife about my snoring and always being tired, I now sleep soundly and have more energy than I use to have. Dr. Steinberg placed porcelain veneers in January 2013 with great care and attention. I went to Dr. Howard M. Steinberg because he specialized in the kind of advanced dental work that I needed. After a thorough examination and consultation, I decided dental implants would give me the best results. Dr. Steinberg agreed. Not only did he give me back my smile, he also did extensive laser work on my gums which made a big difference in improving my oral health. I have not had a single problem in the two years since the work was completed, and I check in with his office regularly for ongoing dental cleanings. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give Dr. Steinberg an 11. Please understand that he is a specialist. Most of his patients have oral problems that a general dentist would not be able to fix. Consider going to Dr. Steinberg for dental implants or any kind of restorative dentistry. He spent 14 months rebuilding my mouth. His services are not cheap. But after all was said and done, I thought the cost reasonable. I tell everyone who asks me: This was the best money that I have ever spent. The office staff and Dr Steinberg were so informative I learned a great deal today about my husband's complicated bite. No other dentist had performed the evaluation like Dr Steinberg, which was an important starting point for us!

After having lost most of my teeth, I figured I needed dentures but was reluctant to have just any dentist make them for me. I was told see a prosthodontic specialist. So, I asked around, searched the Internet and decided to see Dr. Howard M. Steinberg. I’m glad I did. The doctor explained dentures to me and all the different options available for replacing my teeth. I heard about dental implants but didn’t realize all the advantages they have over removable dentures. I opted for the “teeth in a day” procedure. The few rotten teeth I still had were removed, and Dr. Steinberg expertly placed 4 dental implants on the top and another 4 on the bottom. He then attached temporary dentures to the implants, both upper and lower. He called this immediate loading of the implants. I went home that day a new man with a new set of teeth. The whole experience was life-changing. There was very little pain involved, and the bill was arranged to be paid in installments through care credit. A few months later, the final custom dentures were attached. They are beautiful. It’s like having my real teeth back again, only better.
