After finding out I was type 2 diabetic I immediately picked up the phone and called Dr. Rossen. I have been seeing him for a bit now. I wish I could describe the outstanding care his team provides. He helped me establish a plan, educated me, support me and most of all cares about me as a patient. Misty and Sam are invaluable assets as well. This is the most thorough doctor I have ever seen. He took a very thorough medical history and the appointment was not rushed in any way. He fully explained the concerns and steps forward. I highly recommend him.

Was told that my appointment was at 9:30 but I've been waiting forever in the waiting room.....rude office staff.....idk thinking I've made the wrong decision about coming here today!!!

Amazing care, extremely professional and knowledgable

I have seen Dr. Rosen a few times and been to the office for various visits several times. I was extremely disappointed at my last visit with him however. I understand their practice is focused on diabetes care, but I was referred to an endocrinologist due to amenorrhea. At my first appt, my hormone levels were tested and a treatment plan was proposed. At my most recent visit, my blood work didn’t give me any info I’m interested in (they didn’t run the correct labs). Dr. Rosen informed me I had lost weight and that my A1C was good. I tried to ask him about my PCOS symptoms, and he told me to speak to my gynecologist...but is he not a hormone specialist? It was like he had no idea what patient he was with. Disappointing.

All went well.

I have also seen Dr.Rosen along with Dr.Hellman for about thirty years. He is a remarkable doctor and has been a key part of my care. I would recommend him as an outstanding and brilliant physician .

Everyone was so kind and caring and very informative when asking questions.

Dr. Rosen is so low-key that I sometimes take his excellent doctoring for granted. This is a man who walking past an open door heard me explain to the admitting nurse why I had a boot on my foot from a broken ankle. He backed up, asked me to explain how I broke the ankle (in a slip off a half-inch high sidewalk) and ordered a bone density scan. This led to the discovery my calcium was going into the bloodstream, I need a parathyroid gland removed and to get everything straightened out before rotator cuff surgery. Dr. Rosen guided me through the surgery process for the parathyroid and was even there when I had the shoulder surgery. I will always be thankful for his talent and concern.

He is the best! Took a lot of time with me and went over all my concerns. Has setup further tests to htlp identify problems, he really cares.

It was good, everyone was very nice and it was done in a timely fashion.

I didn't have a problem with Dr Rosen, but I did have a problem with the office staff. I was lied to and laughed at by the billing office manager Nancy when questioning why my doctor bill was so much higher than taking the same test at other doctor facilities. Nancy first told me it was because it was my first appointment. After checking with my insurance company they told me that the Endocrine Center was not in network when I was in for my first appointment. I questioned Nancy about what my insurance company said and she laughed at me and told me she did not have the time to call my insurance company figure out why they did not pay more on my bill and I just need to find a way to pay off my bill. I would not refer anyone here and I have talked to primary doctor not to refer people here. I will not be back.

Not to many doctor's really listen to their patients Doctor Rosen does. He has listened to me, I am a vegan who wants off ALL medicine. He has a specific plan for me, that's what I like about him. I will beat type 2 diabetes with Dr. Rosen's help. I never leave these things but for this doctor and his staff it is a pleasure. Thank you Doctor.

Friendly, explained situation, and to the point.

Dr Rosen is amazing! He is incredibly intelligent and has been a wonderful blessing to our family! My daughter was treated at Children's Mercy for years and suffered constant ups and downs but after receiving treatment from Dr. Rosen at NKC Hospital, she is doing amazing with no ups or downs!!! I also receive treatment from Dr. Rosen and he has been a life saver! He is caring and compassionate and wants to make sure you are cared for to the fullest extent!! I can't say enough about the quality of care he and his staff provide!!! I would highly recommend him!!! You will not find a better Endocrinologist!!!

I lost my insurance and job because my thyroid issues became so bad so I had to reestablish myself as a patient but couldn’t get an appointment for almost two months. I was a patient for two years I was in bed very ill and no one seemed to be able to help me see the dr when I did finally get the money together to pay cash. When you have very ill patient help them. I’ve seen many drs in my life never have I heard of a very ill person having to wait this long. This is a disorder I cannot heal on my own I have to have help. This office is not help they didn’t care at all that I am so sick and having to wait two months.

I have not had the most professional experience with this office. I was told I would be contacted with results within 7 days and heard nothing for over 2 weeks. I finally received a voicemail stating they had no information but I would need to schedule to come back in 3 months to do all the procedures over again.

I am needing to transfer my medical records to Dr Amanda Bell at Saint Lukes , Barry Road. All my doctors and specialists are with Saint Lukes and I would like to consolidate my records within one medical system. May I comepick them up or will they be mailed to me or Dr Bells office? Edward Forge

Dr Rosen truly cares about his patients and this is shown on every level of his department.

Dr. Rosen has an "old fashioned" attitude when it comes to dealing with his patients. he listens and asks questions about the person he is working with at the time of the visit! Although he is professional when figuring out what your problem or situation is, he is also personable. My experience with some Doctor's is that they rush you through the exam, Dr. Rosen takes his time and he is affable.

He is always interested in making sure my health is his priority. He is very kind.

I'm so glad I came to this endocrinologist. Dr. Rosen, Misty, and Lorene were awesome. They fit me in as an emergency patient within a week I had an appointment and a diagnosis. Dr. Rosen seems to really know his stuff in addition to caring for his patients and the office was friendly and efficient. Misty was a great physicians assistant too.

My experience with him was probably the best of any doctor I have ever had. ( there have been a lot) He was kind, knowledgeable, very insightful and you left feeling you were in good hands.
