The office staff were very nice and I went right in to see Dr. Luks even though I was early. Dr. Luks was very professional and easy to talk to.

The office and waiting room were immaculate. The office staff was very kind and professional. Dr Luks is fantastic – he has a great sense of humor and is very descriptive. He has awesome tools set up in the exam room so I could see exactly what he was explaining to me. I highly recommend Symphony Medical.

Dr. Lucks is the absolute best! He always makes me feel comfortable in my visits. He is genuinely concerned about the well being of my knee. Wouldn't trade him for the world. Also, he has a great team behind him. They are always pleasant when I arrive. Dr. Lucks is a great doctor and I recommend him and his team to everyone!

Dr Luks is great... I've recommended him to friends and family.... some of which have had successful surgeries by him.... his staff is great too!

I've been seeing Dr. Luks for shoulder pain for years. He is not only a great doctor because of his knowledge, he never makes you wait. He is thorough in his examination. He helped to get me relief for my shoulder pain. He is a true professional.

While the location was in a secret gem of the back of the hospital, the welcome of the staff and the timeliness of their attention and processing exceeded my expectation. After all, Dr. Luks is the only sports medicine specialist I want tending to my joints and surgical needs. I wish there was an option for negative 5 stars. This guy is the most obnoxious and arrogant person I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I cannot comprehend how he has high ratings on here even though he's very far from it if you ask me. He completely dismissed my symptoms and treated me unfairly. I went elsewhere and with a simple x-ray the doctor already suspected what I had. Meanwhile this guy couldn't be bothered to even give me an exam. I wish there was an option for negative 5 stars. Great office with great humans beings, Dr. Luks is a cool guy, all the knowledge.

Dr Luks is a caring professional who takes the time to listen to the concerns of his patients. I travel 1-1/2 hours each way to obtain this level of healthcare that he and his staff provide. The atmosphere there is always pleasant and everyone goes out their way to be helpful and courteous.

After being seen by several Orthopedic Surgeons, I decided to go with Dr. Luks. I had a torn meniscus in my left knee, which Dr. Luks was able to repair. He was much more informative than the other surgeons I saw and he gave me options that the other doctors did not even mention. I’ve never met a doctor who has such a passion to look at all options and takes the time to explain the pros and cons of each. My passion is distance running and as an avid runner himself, Dr. Luks knew how important it was for me to make the right choices. Kudos to you Dr. Howard Luks. I can’t thank you enough! A wonderful, caring experience from the moment I checked in with the front desk staff. Dr. Luks listened to me, validated my feelings and thoroughly explained my diagnosis and treatment plan. You will be in trusted hands with Dr. Luks.

I am sorry I didn’t have knee replacement sooner I can now walk without pain. Dr Luks did a great job. He has a good bedside manner which is lacking with a lot of drs. Great Dr.

Dr Luks treated me for meniscus tears in both knees. He doesn’t rush you into surgery . He advised me to try physical therapy first .He was open and honest with me telling me if he did operate it would probably speed up arthritis in my knees. I took his advice and therapy did do the trick. It took a little while but the pain finally left. You will never see herds of people in his office like some other orthopedic offices I won’t name because he gives his patients good one on one care and if he has no choice but to operate you know he will definitely be looking out for your best interest. Dr Luks, There are not enough stars for him! I researched looking for the Best Shoulder DR. I saw his Bio and immediately started to read how he treats the patient and not just the xray or MRI. My first appointment he said "I will help You!" Brought tears to my Eyes, After 4-5 years of suffering and 5 different orthopedics continually just injecting cortisone into my shoulder. He operated on my shoulder and I am 2 weeks post -op and I already feel so much better. I would have never improved without surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Luks. I went to him for a for an evaluation of my left knee pain because the orthopedist I was working with at the time kept giving me ineffective non-steroidal injections with TEMPORARY relief from pain. Dr. Luks looked at X-rays, and ultimately ordered an MRI, to diagnose my issue. What was key to my decision to partner with Dr. Luks on my knee surgery was his use of technology in diagnosing my issue and my reading through the resources on his website, which he provided the web address for me. The resources on Dr. Luks’ website allowed me to see and understand the proposed surgical procedure. My surgery was in April 2015. I did the NYC Triathlon a little more than 2 years after the knee surgery in July 2017 (1 mile swim, 25-mile bike ride, 6.2 mile run after that). This was great after a High Tibia Osteotomy surgery, which was very extensive. Six years later, my left knee still feels amazing and super strong! I’m getting the same procedure done to my right knee this month by Dr. Luks to resolve the same type of issue I had in my left knee. My best advice is to partner with Dr. Luks to review, understand & evaluate then resolve your knee, shoulder or any other issue that he specializes in. You’ll love the results!! I have been going to Dr. Luks for many years. He's done several orthopedic procedures, including several surgeries, and he is one of the most skilled, compassionate physicians I've ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. I will continue to see him in the future as I trust him in his expertise and skills.

I was a patient of Dr Asprinio for many many years who was amazing. Asked for a recommendation for my husband's injury and was told Dr. Luks. As I have heard many great things, there does not seem to be any sense of urgency with patients and my husband is going on months of pain. He went and was first told to do PT for a while which he did. The PT sent their information weeks ago and heard nothing back even after messages left. They gave a copy to my husband to bring which he did and Dr Luks looked like he's never seen it before. He now has to go for an MRI (ins approval needed) so there will be more time waiting in pain. I called and spoke to his "assistant" who is beyond rude, speaks to patients and their families with an attitude and actually started to giggle, IS SHE KIDDING ME, it is funny that these patients are in pain? Five years recovered ACL tear and replacement with my tibialis, as well as meniscus flipped over and put back into place 100%. He saved my meniscus when others wanted to do a "cleanse" (cut away) which would have guaranteed me a knee replacement in a decade. Yesterday, I did trail running pivoting in the forest for NINE miles - so I am thankful. Occiasionally, I do sustain a little injury on the inside of my knee where it starts to wrap around the back when I perform heavy use - a black/blue mark less than the size of a penny, but it goes away after epsom salt soak. I am 45 years old and happy to be able to pivot, hike, and run. Lastly, "Luks" has very good bedside manner and is down to earth, which you do not get that much these days with highly paid surgeons. I will always be grateful for Dr. Luks. He performed a bucket handle meniscus repair on me, last July. Had I not been lucky enough to have his skills, my meniscus would have likely been removed and I would not be running . More than that, he is a genuinely nice man who cares about you, remembers you, etc. My only fear is suffering another knee injury in years to come and Dr Luks is retired.

Went to Dr Luks for a second opinion concerning knee arthritis and meniscus damage. He spent 20 minutes explaining my mri and why I need not stop running. He also helped me formulate a new training plan. Dr Luks is the go to guy for runners. Don’t let a non running doctor give you canned advice about your body and joints. Go to someone who understands and cares. Dr. Luks is awesome!

One of the best surgical experiences that I have had. I flew all the way from Savannah, Georgia to have him take care of my shoulder and it was well worth it. He and his staff were most helpful every step of the way.

Dr. Luks is an excellent orthopedist. I traveled from NJ to be seen by him. He provided a thorough examination and explained his diagnosis of a frozen shoulder and his treatment plan in great detail. He is like an old school doctor that takes the time to explain everything and cares about his patients. After receiving the ultrasound guided cortisone injection into my shoulder joint as prescribed by him, my pain subsided within 2 days and my range of motion improved. I have been seeing Dr.Luks for 5 years for gell injections and was never had me take a exray for my arthritis in my knees.I put up with his rude. moody .and very nasty talking to me for5 years.Jennifer is her name.Dr.Luks assistance.Any way i was tied of her nasty attuide.Also twice in the last year i was getting alot of knee pain and left message important for meds.He never called me back and when i seen him a month later for a injections he had nothing to say .I went to a different orthopedic dr.And she had me go get a full exrays of both knees before my first appointment.I was told i had severe arthritis.bone on bone and needed surgery aspa.And she didn't do knee Surgery .So i was desperate and brought Dr Luks my exrays from Peekskill hospital.He agreed i have sereve arthritis in both knees Bone on bone and i needed surgery and he refused to do it.Said i was not a good candidate for him to do the surgery and now i found a surgeon and have to wait another 2 months to get a knee replacement.I am so upset with Dr.Lux mainly not having me have a exray.I would of had my knee replacement 2 years ago.I am in Sereve pain every day because of his neglectful of his patient. Back in 2005 I was in a terrible car accident. Nearly severed off my left leg crushing and destroying my right leg. Dr. Luks put me back together again. I wouldn't be walking today if it wasn't for him.

Very unhappy.Never took a exray of my knees in 5 years.Just gave me jell injections.zi went for a second opinion and she took exrays of my knees Said i have severe arthritis and bone on bone and need a knee Replacement asap.Very angry in pain every day and night. I am reporting him to the Medical Board.
