I've seen Honey East since she was at the Baptist. Ever since they made the move to their new place it has been a nightmare. The parking lot is too small, they overbook, they're trying to do everything by my portal which they never signed me up for so now I can't log in, they don't answer the phone so I can't get anyone on the phone to ask questions for help, they don't answer emails, I haven't taken my medication in 2 weeks despite calling my pharmacy every day. Workers are often moody/cold and take it out on the patients, Dr. East never addresses any of my problems that I put down on the questions they make you answer every single time you go back, in fact she hardly addresses anything at all and they constantly try to test you for stuff you're not there for. They never filed my last bill to my insurance and it's been months since I called about that. They often put info in wrong. They seem utterly in over their heads and lost and it has been a headache as a patient honestly.

I love Dr. Honey East! She has changed my life in two visits that seeing other doctors haven’t done in years!!! I was having migraines that kept me in bed for days, no energy, thirsty all the time, getting up 4 or 5 times in the night to use the bathroom, severe bone and muscle pain, couldn’t exercise because of the pain. I went and saw Dr. East about a month ago and she listened to me and what I had to say about my symptoms, she did blood work and test, when I went for my second appointment is when she told me I was a diabetic, I also have thyroid issues, she put me on a regimen of medication’s and I feel better than I have felt in years. No more headaches, no more muscle or bone pains, and my blood sugar is getting under control and I’ve lost weight. I can’t wait to hug her and thank her in October!!!! I love Dr. Honey East! Prompt appointment, surfaced issues and game plan for getting diabetes under control.

Will not spend time / does not look at blood work sent to her - revenue by doing her blood work - will not explainer or listen to patients - does not give patients time to discuss care with her but sends in people to get her patient out as quickly as possible to get to next paying one . told to come back in a month when she had reports to start helping and is gonna wait a month to get blood work back when it was right in front of her / only concerned with revenue

This is one of the best Dr's I have seen for my Diabetes. The wait time was minimal. But the MOST important thing was her attention to detail in order to get her patients better. She does not miss a trick. Her expertise is much better than many GP's in their cookie cutter treatment plans. Thank you so much for caring about me as well as your other patients.

She was my doctor when she was at the hospital and I really miss her and I wish I could go back to her. She really cares about her patients.

Dr. East has been great they got me in fast and asked a lot of questions and made sure they had all the information and did test .called me the next day with answers. Honey is a very good doctor that cares about her patients and their health. She take time out to listen to her patients that means a lot instead of just prescribing medicine and not finding out what is wrong.I seen her as well as she took care of father before he passed and he absolutely loved her kindness. Dr. East has changed my life

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone! They got my records two weeks ago. They were suppose to call me and never did. I called my doctors’s office today to find out why I was never called by them after my referral. It was then that they contacted this doctor and they said they were not taking new patients and I could see another doctor but that appointment would not be until March ! So sad. A calcium level of 11 in the blood, hardly can get out of the bed with the aches and pains and bad kidney stones and these people could care less about you ! Dr East is Very understanding, and patience. I'm glad I was referred to her. All the staff was so sweet

Was seeing Dr East approx 1-2 yrs for Thyroid issues . Never did know how to treat And Dose Thyroid Meds. She kept saying my levels were fine when they were not . She will only test TSH AND T4 which is standard with ATA. When switched to another Practitioner and had the whole panel tested i was severely low in T3 and once that was added it was a game changer. Thyroid issues are not her specialty. FYI . She will run every test in the book but lacks in treatment.

Dr. East is a knowledgeable, wonderful doctor. She cared for me, made sure I understood my condition and came to visit me when I had surgery in the hospital. Just an awesome doctor!

Dr, East is great. She spends time with you and explains what’s going on. Highly recommend her. So glad I found her. Top doctor in my opinion. Very nice doctor and very knowledgeable.

So I made an appointment FOUR MONTHS AGO with this office on the recommendation that she was a provider for my insurance. I double checked online before I called to make the appointment and she was, in fact, LISTED. When I made the appointment they said that they took my insurance. I wait 4 MONTHS, drive 2 HOURS, check in and they tell me that the DO NOT take my insurance!! If this doctor's office's inefficiency is a reflection of this doctor, then she gets two thumbs DOWN!???? Excellent doctor

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. East to anyone and everyone. I feel VERY lucky that I am able to have her as my doctor.

Dr. East is brilliant. I always want the doctor who taught all the other doctors in town about her specialty. The respect the medical community has for Dr. East is amazing. Every single doctor and nurse friend I have says “you don’t have anything to worry about if Dr. East is your doctor”

Dr. East is beyond a good doctor, she is the best. If you spend a few minutes in the room with her you should be able to tell how brilliant she is. Her brain is always processing. Endocrinology takes time and lots of different test. You can’t give up on it before you reach the end. Trust Dr. East. She knows what she is doing.

I have been seeing Dr. East for the past couple of years due to thyroid issues. Unfortunately, I do not recommend her due to her poor patient care. She has be adamant about keeping my levels at a healthful state, but she has not been thorough in the level of testing ordered. Rather than running comprehensive thyroid panels, she only tests my TSH and occasionally Free T4. These labs are not enough to adequately treat thyroid diseases. Her bedside manner is very blunt and lacks empathy.

Dr. East was very pleasant and spent time explaining and answering questions.. She is very knowledgeable and professional but caring at the same time. Her office staff was very friendly and professional. I would have to say she is by far one of the best doctors and I truly trust her in the practice of medicine!

Dr. Honey East is not a good listener when it comes to her patient concerns when she run i simple thyroid panel and it comes back normal she says it is not thyroid i got a 2nd opinion and was told that i have underactive thyroid that will not show up in a regular TSH T4 or T3 test more test need to be ran . my thyroid affects my tissue disease call .. hashimoto refusing to run reverse T3 thyroid peroxidase antibodies and Thyrogloblin Antibodies are the TRH test .. I would not recommend her!! End

I have been around medicine for years and it is refreshing to have a doctor that not only cares about your individual health but also knows how to mesh the latest academics into clinical care. Its nice to see that she is still keeping up on the latest and is not afraid to be honest with you about each approach. I have gone from a very high A1c to a fantastic A1c because of her honest with the best medicines along with honesty in talking to me about losing weight and getting the right exercise.

Dr. East has been my endocrinologist for years, and I would highly recommend her to anyone. She always seems so concerned with how I'm doing. Easy to get into contact with when an emergency. Dr. East is my favorite endocrinologist that I've had in my 30 years of living.
