I really am absolutely satisfied with this doctor’s performance. She did such a wonderful job! Even though I just had surgery 3 days ago I’ve had almost no pain. She’s sweet, courteous, and honestly cares about you as an individual. The entire team working there was warm-hearted and considerate with highly appreciated professionalism as well. Time will tell on my healing of course but I’m grateful that I found them. Thank you so much!!!

Go somewhere else! She is dishonest, condescending, and reckless. Makes errors missteps and then tries to cover with ridiculous excuses and theories. Makes a problem and then makes a wreck trying to cover it. Her mind is not on the patient for sure.

Took my father to see this doctor at the VA hospital. She talks so fast yet didn’t explain the condition well. She was too eager to do surgery and didn’t offer more conservative options. She was rude and uncaring when we tried to ask questions. Veterans deserve better than that. Would NOT recommend her!

I would not recommend this surgeon. She was fired from Ortho Indy. Rude. Had horrible surgery outcome. Would not recommend to anyone.

Best doctor I have ever had. I wish she was my family doctor. Strait to the point. Listens and understands your issues. Plus, takes time to talk to you, not rushing you out the door. Love her. Thank you Dr Williams.

My 4 year old son broke his pinky. Dr. Williams took excellent care. She spoke directly to my son in detail step by step of how she will treat his finger. Omgoodness I can't begin to express how well Dr. Williams and her assistant Raynetta took AWESOME care of me. I went in to see Dr. Williams because I have been having non stop pain in my left hand and arm. Dr. Williams unlike some doctors really listened to me and showed great concern for my health. She actually examined me seeking answers to my issues,not guessing. After my carpal tunnel surgery in March of 2019 I have had problems and great pain. Although Dr. Williams did not do that surgery,she took me in and cared for me still. She has turned things around for me. Amazing how the doctor that did my surgery took my money and ran...she didn't own that maybe the surgery didn't help me. She sent me back to my primary doctor suggesting that I could possibly have fibromyalgia or diabetes. Smh...so sad,shame on doctors that do not care! Dr. Williams I am so glad you ❤ care. I am forever grateful to Ortho Indy as a Unit as everyone was professional and attentive to my needs. All my tests was explained and administered professionally. Dr. Williams did not dismiss my feelings (my pain) and I appreciate her for that. I work 10 hour days using my hands so my life has been miserable til I met Dr. Williams. I saw Dr. Williams, approximately a year ago, for a hand issue. When I, all of a sudden woke up with Trigger Finger, she got me in immediately. I wanted to stay with Ortho Indy and their doctors. Reading the reviews I was quite troubled by some of them. I believe if you are a specialist in your field, you don't need to spend a lot of time with the patient. She immediately came in told me the issue and informed me of what she would be doing. I don't want a long winded doctor. I prefer one who gets to the point, which she did. Dr. Williams multi tasked very well! Once again, I want a doctor whom can do this. We spoke of another issue I was having involving possible amputation. She gave me insight on a multitude of different types, what would take place, and the ability to cope with being an amputee. Dr. Williams was definitely empathetic and compassionate about my topic. Dr. Williams made me feel welcome. She spent the time to explain my condition and what treatment would work best. Will highly recommend her.

I would not recommend the care of this facility or Dr. Williams. My mother fractured her wrist in October. Her initial visit with Dr. Heather Williams was no longer than 5 minutes at best. She gave my mother the option for surgery but did not stress either way if that was the better option for her fractured wrist. When my mother tried asking her a question regarding the use of creams (aspercreme) Dr. Williams interrupted her before she could finish and told her no Chinese Herbal Medicine. I'm sure she was be presumptive and racist because my mother is Korean. Either way it was very off putting. Today was my mom's follow up visit after being in a hard cast for 4 weeks. Dr. Williams walked in quickly and asked "Remind me why we didn't do surgery?" When I reminded her that she gave her the option, she glossed over and said because my mother was frightened when asked the first time and she doesn't force it upon her patients. I asked if it was an option now and she said it was "too late, it's already healed" Again, if surgery would have been the better option why did she not stress it then? I asked for a copy of her X-rays and my mother was trying to be polite and tell her that we were going to get a 2nd opinion from an orthopedist from Harvard at Mass Gen, she immediately said he "would for sure recommend surgery." I'm not sure what's more frightening to a patient: tell them surgery is in their best interest or come back in 6 weeks after pt and we will evaluate. If surgeries needed, we'll re-break the bone?? Not good with seniors or alzheimers patients.

I don't typically post about doctors, but I have to when it comes to Heather Williams, M.D. I have been on a five year search, and I have been suffering with joint pain that has made me feel like a 90 year old woman. I have missed out on life, I have been from doctor to doctor, being misdiagnosed and treated poorly by a really bad Rheumatologist at Witham in Anson, and at times I have just wanted to give up. Then I ended up in Dr. Williams's care. Within minutes she said, "I really think you have ....... It's rare, but it fits. You need a really good Rheumotologost. Go in telling him what you have." I came home and did some of my own research, and I connected the dots. I really think, with 100% accuracy, she's right! My new, sharp as a tack doctor is right!! What patients need to understand about Dr. Williams is she can multitask like Iike I've never seen before. However, I knew she was with me 100%. If you want a doctor that knows her stuff and what is going on in other fields as well as research then she's your doctor. It takes a lot to impress me, and she did just that! Dr. Williams was a pleasure to visit with. She explained what was going on with my finger, explained the x-rays and gave great suggestion on how and when to expect improvement..
