Mrs. Heather M Cook

Prescribed the wrong medication for months! Absolutely careless care by Dr. Heather Cook. They did not catch the error for 3 months. They incorrectly prescribed me a medication used to treat OCD (clomipramine) instead of the estrogen blocker (clomiphene citrate). This medicine made me miss work due to extreme fatigue, feel like crap, and completely knocked libido down to nothing. I am still having ongoing issues from this medication. This was after a host of other issues with the clinic. Avoid this practice, and absolutely avoid Dr. Heather Cook.

We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Cook. She was the first dr in four years to provide us with an actual diagnosis, instead of "unexplained fertility" (and this was within just minutes of meeting with her!). Moreover our experience with her during our fertility treatments was superb. She and Coastal Fertility treat their patients so well! We are eternally grateful to her for our upcoming baby girl, and all of our future children that will follow after her. You can't go wrong with Dr. Cook! I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Cook. We went to Coastal for an initial consult and were given all information straight forward, which my husband and I very much appreciated. We decided to get a second opinion from another fertility doctor across the street and we did not have the same experience. We returned to Dr. Cook and I'm so glad we did! Dr. Cook is very empathetic, we never felt rushed during appointments and there was always someone available to contact for questions if things came up after appointments. My experience with Dr. Cook was great from beginning to end. She made me feel very comfortable and thoroughly explained everything each time I met with her. She was very pleasant, her staff were great, and the facility was very neat and clean.

Dr. Cook was absolutely amazing! She is compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her (and have already) to anyone who is struggling with infertility. She truly made our dreams come true!

I suffered from recurrent pregnancy loss and had a living child, with no issues. I came into Coastal skeptical and not even interested in IVF or IUI. Dr Cook patiently waited for me to get there in my own time while being supportive and informative. Dr. Cook and the rest of the staff are amazing! Dr. Cook always takes time to inform about the process and answers all the questions that we had. We had wonderful experiences during all visits. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Cook!!

Dr. Cook and her staff were such a blessing. From our first appointment, they never stopped caring. She is compassionate and thorough. Dr.Cook and her staff are amazing when my husband and I first met with her she told us she would get us pregnant.....and she DID she was not pushy with her treatment plans and let us go at our own speed. She is extremely caring and compassionate because of her knowledge and compassion my husband and I are now expecting our beautiful baby boy! From start to finish we never felt as though we were a burden or rushed out of the door. I must say that my husband and I were really reluctant to visit a fertility Dr., we were unsure of what the out come would be or other obstacles that we would face. On our very first visit for our consultation we were nervous, but upon meeting Dr. Cook, the nerves and jitters went away. Dr. Cook was very pleasant with a warm greeting and her ever so welcoming smile. We felt like family to all the employees at the facility. From appointments, to emails and constant contact with our nurse Allison- who we enjoyed every step of the way, highs and lows, everyone was very supportive. My husband and I are now expecting our first child and all thanks to Dr. Cook and her staff! There was no pressure to pay for more expensive methods to conceive, Dr. Cook advised us on our options and left the decision up to us as to how aggressive we wanted to be. My husband and I were nervous and afraid prior to our treatment, but the staff was very supportive and walked us through every step. The nursing staff was available 24/7 to answer any questions or address any concerns that I had. I truly felt cared for throughout the entire process. I recommend highly recommend Dr. Cook.

I started seeing Dr. Cook at the beginning of this year. From the very start she was so positive and said it was possible even when I was doubtful. One of the things l loved most about seeing Dr.Cook in every situation or bump in the road she always had a positive attitude and truly pushed us along the way to never give up. Dr. Cook and Amy were awesome through out the entire process. They did a great job of explaining our options and being realistic with success rates and what to expect along the way. The office runs very smoothly and in most cases they get you in and out very quickly which is important when making multiple visits a week. Dr. Cook always brought a positivity to a very challenging situation. She always called to check in and helped keep me optimistic when I felt like I had no hope. I highly recommend Dr. Cook to anyone is need of fertility help. She keeps it honest and very encouraging?

Dr. Cook is the best. She is absolutely wonderful at what she does. She is not only an incredible doctor, but also an all-around great person. Dr. Cook is professional, yet relatable. I can't say enough good things about her professionalism and warm bedside manner. She went above and beyond for my husband and me when all hope seemed to be lost. I truly believe that had Dr. Cook not joined Coastal Fertility Specialists in 2014, there is a good chance that we may never have been able to get pregnant. She took the time to think outside the box and consulted with other doctors on further options for us. It ALL paid off last June! After nearly five years of trying to get pregnant - 3 rounds of Clomid, 5 IUIs, 3 IVF cycles, and countless Frozen Embryo Transfers - we are expecting our miracle baby next month! I absolutely adore Dr Cook! She's so kind, heartfelt and knowledgeable. We are so happy and blessed to be expecting and due in March 2016. Unexplained Infertility can be a very difficult process to go through, especially without having any answers hence the name unexplained. I wish we had visited Coastal Fertility and Dr. Cook months before we did, BUT we did. We were treated so well, loved on by the staff, and we had success with our first IUI!!! Graduating was truly bitter sweet. So thankful and grateful for our bundle of joy, but sad to leave Dr. Cook and her staff. very rude the financial coordinators changed the pricing of freezing my eggs three times they did not want my business. Very upset because I am a cancer patient and they were NOT accommodating to my circumstance very very hurt be the whole experience
