Haynes Louis Harkey

In 1993 Dr Harkey took the lead role with neurology department, brain doctors, and pediatric doctors to perform a C2 fusion from a crushed vertebra. In 1993- I was 11 years old and I had walked around with a broken neck from the time I was 2 years old. (9 years walking around with crushed neck) At 11 years old I broke it again and the original crushing of vertebra was found. There were bone fragments all throughout my neck around my spine it was very tedious to remove all the pieces. They even had to go in the back of my throat to remove fragments. Now im 41 years old and it’s been just under 30 years since he performed the surgery and It rarely slows me down.

harkey failed twice trying to fix my spinal injury. he caused a blood infection because rods came loose and pinched my skin, cause a sore. DO NOT LET THIS PERSON TOUCH YOU!

I have no personal experience with Dr. Harkey, but he performed brain surgery on my mother in November of 2014 to remove a tumor. IMO, I think he could've done a better job cuz B4 the surgery, she was able to walk and talk normally, and use her right arm, and after surgery, she wasn't. I hate that my mom has to put up with having Aphasia the rest of her life.
