His office staff is always pleasant to speak to. As a parent you want to be comfortable dealing with the office staff and know that they actually belong in PEDIATRICS. It has deterred me in the past from moving forward with the 2nd appointment in the past from another specialist.

Dr. Megahed and staff are attentive and caring. If there is ever an issue they take feedback very seriously and work to address the issue immediately. My daughter has been a patient for 11 years and we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Our experience with Dr. Megahed's office was nothing but the best. I was extremely thankful for the office staff, who helped get my son's paperwork and referral settled to make the scheduling of our appointment effortless. When we arrived, the staff was very thorough, as we remain cautious with Covid-19. Our MA was sweet and attentive to my 2 year old. And, Dr. Megahed was very nice to explain what was going on with him medically. We were very appreciative for easing our concerns and the professionalism used. You can tell they all love children and have a gift with pediatrics.

Dr. Megahed and his nurse were incredible! My 5 year old boy is not a fan of going to the dr but he asked before we left when could we come back to see him. He spent so much time talking with him and getting to know him and so did his nurse. There was no sense of feeling rushed or like we were just another appointment to check off the list for the day. I seriously cannot day enough good things about him, his staff and our visit.

Our family is very happy with Dr. Megahed ‘s services. We believe he saved our son’s life. He always answers our questions, our son loves him, he talks sports and band with our son. Dr Megahed is an amazing doctor all around !!!

My daughter and I wish to thank Dr.Megahead, staff, and associates for professionalism and great service. My daughter has been a patient for the last 10 years. With further Medical repairs needed, it is good to know we are in good hands. Need a great service, try this one.

Dr. Megahed is the best! My daughter is 10 and has been with him since she was 7 months old. He has performed 2 surgeries on her, and I would have such a hard time trusting her with anyone else. He takes the time to get to know his patients and their parents as well. There is never a long wait at the office and everyone is so kind and respectful. I HIGHLY recommend taking your child to see him and his staff.

Dr. Megahed is an amazing human being and a phenomenal Neurosurgeon. My very first interaction with him was when my newborn daughter was on life support in the pediatric ICU and I was being told that the results of her scan looked bleak. He happened to be next door with another patient and I guess a nurse asked him to explain the scan to me, (probably since I was borderline hysterical.) He came in and immediately put me at ease. He also explained that what HE saw was a normal response to the life-threatening illness that my daughter was fighting. He assured me that the scan was quite typical for the circumstances and that it did not necessarily mean that there was permanent damage, (as I was being told.) ....... I NEVER received a bill from him. Dr. Megahed gave his professional opinion and calmed me while taking time out of his busy rounds out of the kindness of his heart, NOT because he expected to get paid for it. How many doctors do that? Fast forward almost 9 months later: My daughter developed a serious medical condition as a result of the previous illness and required emergency surgery. Dr. Megahed was our doctor of choice, and we are SO thankful for him. He did a great job and used caution and care when deciding what would be the safest approach. He also never let "ego" override safety and best outcomes. He carefully explained everything to us, and despite the horror of this whole ride, he has been with us every step of the way. My baby is now a healthy and happy 4 year old who, although she will have to deal with a life-long medical condition, continues to thrive and benefit from Dr. Megahed and his staff. (The office staff is fantastic too!) There were a couple of times when we felt a little rushed during appointments, however, when brought to the attention of Dr. Megahed and staff, I feel like every effort was made to improve, and we have since not had any issues, (it's been about 2 years since then.) To me, that says a lot too - He truly cares! Dr. Megahed also obviously loves his patients, as he is always seen interacting with them in the most endearing ways, (he's like a big kid!♡) It is also important to note that due to my daughter's medical condition, she has had countless interactions with various doctors, nurses, therapists and medical professionals, and I have heard nothing but positive about Dr. Megahed. I have also had several tell me that he was either their own child's doctor, or that if they had to choose a Neurosurgeon for their loved one, he would be the one they'd pick. Too often, I have heard about how awful some doctors are to their staff, yet I have heard quite the opposite about Dr. Megahed. He is an amazing NS. He did an amazing job with both of my LOs surgeries and she adores him. He is good with kids and he is very informative. He does seem to have an aversion to anything that will hurt a LO like removing stitches and will shy away from conversations that may be painful to the parent but I still highly recommend him and won't take my LO anywhere else.
