If I could give less stars I would. First off. When this virus started he was not filling my husband's medication. My husband went 3 months without his meds. Then when he did open back up and my husband went for his dr appointment the office was locked up and a sign on door said that they moved but left NO ADDRESS TO GO TO. After finally getting them on the phone we found the new office. Now today 11/18/2020 he had a follow up and the office was closed again. And all we got when we called was a recording. I keep calling to schedule appointment for my husband who has dementia. Noone answers & I have left numerous message to call back but they don't call. During covid he didn't renew my husband's medicine & I had to call another doctor to call in a prescription because we ran out.

Very nice, very helpful.

My mother had an MIR run and cannot get hold of anyone at their office in order to get the results!!!! No other way to contact anyone.

Dr. Javanshirfound my brain aneurysm right away. The surgery was quick. Healing was fast.

He kept my family member waiting in the hospital for an MRI and EEG for 4 days only to be told the hospital could not do it and he could do as an outpatient. Meanwhile did not try anything to help symptoms.

HELPFUL REVIEW! This was the WORST care I have ever received. I’ve never been treated or spoke to this way by a provider. I’ll try to keep this as short as possible. The doctor sees me every other month, writing two prescriptions; one for the next 30 days and another for the 30 days after that. With this being standard practice, I’m certain I’m not the first to lose a hard copy prescription in a month’s time. I’m super particular about my things and even managed to lose it. You would have thought I was a cartel leader by the way the doctor treated me. I called all week because I know how hard they are to reach (from what I understand he has been rounding a lot at a nearby hospital). I didn’t reach anyone until yesterday. (At this point, I’m due for the refill.) The secretary warned me up front that the physician will not be happy about this. Immediately, I asked why? It’s clearly verifiable and easy to see that the that prescription has not been filled. I have never lost it before. What is the problem here!? He got on the phone with me and started chewing me out like I was a no good drug dealer. He yelled and said “everyone in this country knows the rules about this.” Well, I’m the exception. I had NO IDEA this would cause so much grief. I realize this is my fault; I lost or more likely threw away the paper but I didn’t hurt anyone, commit a crime, or do anything deserving of this. He literally banished me from making an appointment until the 30 days without my medicine is up. Like most antidepressant like medications, it is very clear that stopping this medication “cold turkey” could have serious effects. Which is what I need with a new baby, the start of my oldest new school year, and a massive work project underway. Shouldn’t my doctor care more about the effects I’ll face and less about “punishing” me? As I said, the worst care I’ve ever received (if you can call this care at all). I hope he can make this right and change his methods and practices to eliminate this from happening to future patients. (Sending prescriptions electronically is standard practice nowadays.) I was impressed by his knowledge

He diagnosed my brain aneurysm which was missed by a chairman of neurology ( about ten years ago)

Very rude, he didn't explain the procedure neither answered any of my questions. When I asked for address, he told me that all I was looking for it was to get meds ... I needed a EMG/NCS quick. I was in from outta town and he worked me in. I greatly appreciated that. I did make a appt but he ran 2 hrs over. He apologized and explained to me how some patients had come on the wrong day, time ect.. He did seem a little unorganized but was talkative throughout the procedure. Dr. Javanshire has been treating my husband for the last few years. Dr. J. thoroughly explains everything we want to know and he patiently answers all of our questions. We have a clear outlook on the lead up to this disease, what is happening now, and what to expect in the future. His staff is very helpful and professional. Dr. Javanshir personally comes to the front lobby to get each of his patients for their neurology appointment. He is highly personable and you know that he cares about you. My husband used him a few times with little success.

Very rude, really bad experience. He didn't communicate during the course of the study. Never explained the procedure neither answered my questions. He made a simple procedure so painful. I do NOT recommend him at all.

He's the worst doctor, do no go to him!!! I cannot even describe how awful the visit was, we took my elderly father-in-law with dementia as we needed some meds to calm my FIL down- we'd just placed him in a home, but this was not a first visit, the "dr." had treated him in the past. Never asked any questions about his mental/physical state and did not give us any meds. Said to come see him in month so I asked what would we do with him, the "dr" said we could take time off work or hire a nurse.

Please don't go to this quack. I am new to Texas and just needed a med renewed that I've been on for years. He announced that I would need another MRI despite him looking my CD of a recent one that I had brought from my previous doctor. But not any MRI place would do...I had to go to the place he named or "get another doctor". (Maybe he has a financial interest in that particular MRI clinic?) Oh, and while he was looking at the MRI I had brought with me he announced that I had a lesion, a brain tumor that apparently my regular doctors had missed. But he kept pointing to my spine. I'm not a radiologist, but I am an RN and I know where my spine is. (Later a proper neurologist agreed with me) All of a sudden he calls the DMV and told them I was restricted from driving! This despite that I've driven safely for 40+ years. The DMV later agreed with me, but sheesh! He yelled at me the whole visit and it's clear from his staff's response that he yells at them regularly. Every comment that said something negative is the absolute truth. He acts as if he's a lawyer, not a dr. The most flippant person in practice that I've ever met. Best doctor ever, been seeing him for my headaches for years. Only doctor I will let treat my headaches. His staff is just as wonderful as he is. ????

Waited over an hour for appointment, he didn't listen, prescribed me medication that has a major interaction with one I currently take, my pharmacy called him 5 TIMES for verification and his office NEVER RETURNED the calls. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone EVER!

I should have listen to all bad reviews .I am disgusted how I was treated. Waited there for more than an hour to see the doctor and he was getting patients with later appointments before me .I went to ask the front desk lady what was going on?How can other people just coming in after me and they get in before me? I was waiting for more than an hour and she said that the doctor came late. That was the poorest excuse for a physician I have ever encountered. He totally wasted my time, gave me my money back and said good by without an examination or discussion. Very bad experience!

Waited over an hour to be called into his office. He gave me samples of medication that had a major interaction to medication I was already taking. He called in a medication to my pharamacy, the pharmacy had questions and called his office 5 TIMES, and he still hasn't talked to the pharmacy so I can get correct medication and it's been over 2 weeks!

I am utterly disgusted with how I was treated today.

The worst Dr. I have been to. I have been having a lot of issues with migraines lately and have missed some days from work. I work in a call canter, so having people talking right in your ear all day is hell when you have a migraine. I went back in to see if there was something else we could do to figure out why I get them in the first place and also to have some paper work filled out to state, yes I am being treated and yes it does interfere with me day to day life. Instead of trying to figure out why he just puts me on more pills and when I call to check on the paper work come to find out not only did he put "n/a" down for most of it but the part he did fill out he didn't give a reason why, so the entire thing was denied. Because of this the days I missed can not be excused. This has cost me my promotion and almost cost me my job.
