Hassan Fathallah-Shaykh

Dr Fathallah provided care for a relative. He was not thorough in explaining the patient’s status or prognosis with his patient or the patient’s family. Also, when his patient was hospitalized, he ignored requests to collaborate on the case, essentially abandoning his patient as if he had no responsibility for coordinating care. Not once did he express interest in his patient, even when he learned of the patient’s death. The confidence that was placed in him as a physician was grossly misplaced and undeserved. When his actions were brought to his attention, he actively avoided addressing the concerns and being held accountable and demonstrated no concern for his patient, ethics, or the importance of demonstrating behavior that reflects empathy or compassion. For this reason, I would NOT recommend Dr Fathallah to any of the people I care about or love. .
