Stay away from this place. This doctor is exhibits such money hungry, predatory behavior. I went to him for 2 sessions and he charged me almost $1,000. Then refused to see me because my insurance “declined” payment. I called my insurance and the claims were still processing. His contract says 30-45 days. He charged me out of pocket after a week. When I spoke to my insurance about this, they said it was breach of contract but he refuses to refund me my money. Our sessions were about 30 min but he charged the insurance for 45-1hr. The first 15 min were about money. He wouldn’t see me until the payment was processed. Someone like this should not be a doctor. He lacks compassion, integrity and is so greedy. Do not go to him. BEWARE!!! Don't give Dr. Savalia/ Get Well Psychiatry your bank card number!!! I gave him my bank card number on the pprwk he required me to complete before my 1st appt. I only gave it to him so that he could charge my office visit copays. I had my first (and only) appt with him in 2021. He sent his bill to the wrong address and my insurance company then gave him the correct address and asked him to resend it. Instead of doing so, he immediately charged my card for the that appointment. I only provided him with my card number for my copays! Nothing else! He did not notify me that he was going to charge my card and I only found out after he charged it. My insurance company eventually reimbursed me the $350 but I had to put in a claim and an appeal. It was a huge hassle. All he had to do was send the billing to the correct address. He refused to do even that.

Just like the last guy said I gave him 1 star because I couldn't give him less. This doctor is money hungry. My story is I had a choice between this doctor and another doctor from my insurance company. The other Dr had a two week wait time this doctor was available the next day. So I ignores the negative reviews I saw I figured I had insurance so how much could he charge me? First he had me sign a bogus contract. Second he charged my co pay as if we were "in person" even tho we were on the phone and my insurance waved the co pay for telephone visits. Third he had me pay $150 for a 1 page email survey that he claimed was a out of pocket diagnosis. The forth thing he charged me was a 12% possession g fee to pay with my credit/debit card. By the way my insurance company told me that is fraud. Finally he had me go do a drug screening befor he would see me. I called my insurance and asked them about this "out of pocket" expense they said there is no such thing and opened an investigation on my claim. He got mad like I knew he would and called me and wrote me nasty emails and said he was canceling me as a patient. As if I should of not checked my insurance policy. Altho I did not need to pay these ridiculous fees another instance of how money hungry this doctor is is he charges $25 fee to obtain your medical record with a $0.50 per page to copy/ print and a $15.00 fee to send them to the next doctor. Another insurance of how money hungry he is if you cancel or miss a appointment he charges you $50. Even if your co pay is less than that. All these fees are against the agreement of the insurance company and that is why he has you submit a valid credit/debit card with your intake paperwork. It took three months but my insurance company just sent me my $150 check reimbursement back to me. Long story short wait the two weeks to see whatever other doctor you can. I attached a few photos of his bogus contract. If you are going through this drama and heartache as I and so many other victims of his fraudulent practice have gone through don't give up when he tells you you signed a "contract" because my insurance company told me that this contract does not have any legal footing so it is void from the beginning. Cancelled an appt. day of appt! Because I didn’t have the right insurance, even though we had discussed insurance in our initial call.

I give him one star because i cant give him less. Money hungry doctor. All he cared about was payment. I have a $100 yearly co-pay for individual and $200 for family. My daughter was going to be the only patient and he kept arguing with me that i needed to pay the $200 because there were 3 of us coveted under the insurance, so the co-pay should be $300. I pointed out that only one family member was going to see him so only the $100 deductible applied. After much arguing back and forth, he conceded that it was only $100. Then in his office he insisted on payment before tretment. When i handed him the check for $100, he asked if i had cash. When I said no he said he was going to charge if the check bounced; How f##@%ing dare he! He didn't even know us. He's supppsed to be a proffesional helping people and he starts by isulting?? And his entire conversation to that point was about him getting paid. At that point i asked him for my check back, 'cause we were leaving. And my daughter said she wanted her paperwork back because her SS number was on it. He threw the papers at her. What a joke of a snake oil salesman! A total shaddy money grabbing scammer. RUN AWAY, DONT WALK!! From the moment I arrived, he was head down in a computer, no personal care at all When I explained what was going on he told me "I don't do talk therapy" and even said "you talk too much, speak less in life". He also told me he was "doing charity" by seeing patients and then wanted to charge me $350 hr for a phone call when wanted to ask if a side effect was normal. He has 0 compassion, I asked about filing state forms, he said " Go learn the process" Save yourself!!

Notes say that he can get you in next day and/or Saturdays. I just called for an appointment and was told 2nd week of July.

I was seeing another doctor prior to Dr Savalia. I changed because the last doctor had me on the wrong medicine and felt he wasn't listening me. And in fact I got even more depressed. My therapist told me to see Dr Savalia, so I did. I'm so thankful for him. He brought me back to normal. He put me on the right medicine's and even eliminated a few, that I didn't need. He brought me back to my normal self. Don't be thrown off by his loudness..lol. He's an excellent psychiatrist.
