I felt I was in the hands of an expert throughout this experience. Dr. Lebowitz's manner was calm, reassuring, professional, and pleasant. The staff was extremely accommodating and caring. All in all, I had a wonderful experience. The results of the surgery have given me a new outlook on life--literally!

Dr Lebowitz did my cataract surgeries in May 2022 and I could not be more pleased with the results. The procedure was totally painless and the results are evident within a few hours. truly amazing. From the initial visit, through the procedure and the followups Dr Lebowitz projects self confidence and expertise which will make you very comfortable with the whole procedure. Highly recommended.

From the first visit I was very pleased with Dr Lebowitz. He answered all of my questions and cleared my concerns ( no needles). He advised me that the cataract surgery would take approximately 5 to 7 minutes and it did for each of my surgeries. The surgery center staff was very friendly and professional. From the clear discussions during the first evaluation through the pre- and post-surgery calls and the surgery itself, Dr. Lebowitz ensured I was happy, had my questions answered, and understood the entire process. His skill and the choice of lenses left me seeing 20/20 and reading just as well.

Dr Lebowitz’ nursing staff at the Silverside Road office is friendly, efficient, and perhaps as important, on time. With few exceptions I was called to my exam within 5 to 10 minutes of my appointment time. This is rare enough in physicians’ offices that it is notable. Dr Lebowitz himself is friendly, explains problems and solutions clearly, and efficient. His “bedside manner” in the OR is great (I was relaxed but awake), and makes what little discomfort there is acceptable. Perhaps most important is that as a high myope (extremely nearsighted) since age six, I am now 20/20! Thank you!

Dr Lebowitz operated on both of my eyes to remove cataracts and implant lenses. Both procedures went very smoothly, and both were done within 15 minutes of Dr Lebowitz's beginning. My postoperative care has been thorough and well done by his team. I appreciate Dr Lebowitz's affable dealings with his patients and his taking the time to answer my questions over many years and, in particular, before and after these procedures. He told me that he has performed about 25,000 cataract surgeries during his medical career.

Due to the pandemic, I had to delay my cataract surgery. This caused my vision to significantly deteriorate. I was unable to see clearly, drive, or read. My vision was overwhelmed by floaters and high sensitivity to glare. Once I decided to have the cataract surgery done by Dr. Harry Lebowitz, I felt relieved since I have known him for several decades and had complete trust in him. The staff were very professional and helpful in informing me about how to prepare for the surgery. Then came the surgery itself which lasted about six minutes without any discomfort. At the conclusion, Dr. Lebowitz informed me that “everything went perfect,” which was very good to hear. Ten days later I met with Dr. Lebowitz and informed him that my 20/20 vision was perfect! I am now seeing clearly, am able to drive, and am enjoying reading and the use of the computer. Even my sensitivity to glare and to floaters subsided significantly. All in all, the results are way beyond my expectations!

The best eye doctor ever! He did my cataract surgery for my left eye three years ago, and my right eye in July, 2021. Both my eyes are perfect. No post-op problems. I highly recommend Dr. Lebowitz.

Today was my final appointment after my cataract surgery (both eyes). It was GREAT! Dr. Lebowitz did my surgery and before the surgery he took the time to explain what would happen and why. He answered all of my questions and did not rush me at any point. Today was the final checkup and everything went great! I've only had minimal problems post surgery. This was to most complete and painless cataract surgery. Dr. Lebowitz explained everything to me in detail. His staff was very helpful. The day of surgery was very calm and the procedure went smoothly. I had very good results, I now have 20/20 vision. Most importantly Dr. Lebowitz called me the day before surgery to see if I had any questions. He also called me the afternoon after my surgery to check on me. I complemented him on his caring about his patients. I can truly say I have never had a doctor call me before or after a procedure to see how I was doing. I will always remember him for his kindness.

When my eye Dr. retired I didn't know where to turn, I was with her for 30 years. I found Dr. Lebowitz with a friends recommendation. It took only minutes for me to relize I found a great DR. Cataract surgery was very scary to me but Dr.Lebowitz made me feel comfortable immediatly, both with his bedside manner and phone calls before surgery and visit the next day. Dr. Lebowitz removed cataracts from both of my eyes. The result is amazing. You don’t realize the gravity of having cataracts until you have them removed. The only analogy I can use, is a veil has been lifted and you can see color like you’ve haven’t seen because of the cataracts. Dr Lebowitz explained what cataracts are in plain language and what the end result would be for me after the surgeries. During the procedure, he spoke to me with a kindness that I appreciated. Dr. Lebowitz has been my eye doctor for a number of years. i have recently had cataract surgery with implants and Dr. Lebowitz was great. He was very reassuring, making sure i was comfortable during and after each procedure and calling me later each day to make sure things were fine. i have recommended him to friends and relatives.

Dr. Lebowitz performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes, about 2 years apart. Since I previously had had RK surgery, there was a somewhat increased risk of complications, but both surgeries went smoothly and I now have perfect vision in both eyes. Dr. Lebowitz has been my ophthalmologist ever since another another ophthalmologist recommended him about 15 years ago for a complicated problem I was having. He has been a great doc ever since. Most recently, he performed cataract surgery on both eyes, and the outcome was terrific: 20/20 vision in both eyes, bright colors, night vision restored, and no complications or surprises. He strikes me as bright, knowledgable, and impressively skilled, dedicated, and well-organized.
