Harry A Hoyen

Dr. Hoyen gave me shots for Dupytren's Contracture 3 years ago. Two of the three visits he was on his cell phone. He gave me no follow-up i.e. exercises. I did not feel as though he cared at all. Now I have to have surgery on both hands. I would never recommend him.

Dr. Hoyen is the best physician I have ever seen. He is highly respected, does amazing surgery and his personality is warm and friendly.

He took my case to re-do a surgery that the first Doctor didn’t do correctly and refused to look any further. Dr. Hoyen showed more interest and caring to fix the problem and he did.

No professionalism. Lies to patients. Unable to follow through. Shows no respect to patients. Feels his time is more important than his patients.

Dr. Hoyen was very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. He is an excellent physician and I highly recommend him .

Great doctor, great work on my carpal tunnel left hand. Happy with the results.

Dr.Hoyen was excellent but his office crew at Metro are very rude and uncaring.while sitting in waiting room I observed them being rude on the phone and in person.For that reason I have found another doctor.Pay attention to your workers doctor they are hurting your business.

The doc is booked out for weeks, so don't bother calling if you broke your hand yesterday. Unless you don't mind being seen by a nurse practitioner. Your hand will be out of the cast by the time he can see you.

Top notch. I see one left a horrible review. Theres always that person... I found him professional, his office staff friendly and he fixed a badly broken arm and dysfunctional hand from it. Bravo on your work!

Dr Hoyen did a great job on both of my trigger finger surgery very good doctor and now I’m having surgery for my carpal tunnel surgery I trust him doing my carpal tunnel surgery

Dr Hoyen and his team has been great with dealing with my husband's significant trauma that he received from a MC accident. He continues to follow my husband and continues to try to give him the best end result he can even though it is a life changing injury.

Dr. Hoyen has operated on my thumbs, fingers, and just repaired my left shoulder rotator cuff. He is a knowledgeable, thorough, professional, and personable doctor. I wouldn’t see anyone else!

ARRIVED LIFE FLIGHT … DR HARRY HOYEN WAS PART OF THE RECONSTUCTION 'TEAM' AT CLEVELAND METRO HEALTH … HE SPENT SEVERAL HOURS WORKING ON ONE OF THE FINGERS ( FOR THAT FINGER TO BE A DONER TISSUE IF NEEDED LATER ) …. HE WAS KIND ...LISTENED … AND ATTENATIVE TO ALL THE ISSUES OF THE INJURY ….and he worked well with the other team member DR BRAM KAUFMAN - THANK YOU 'TEAM' <3

He answered my questions, explaining my healing based on viewing X-ray with me. He correctly assessed my fracture as one that should heal with the proper cast brace and so far his approach is working, avoiding surgery. He’s pleasant too!

I saw Dr. Hoyen in the office to discuss joint replacement surgery. He stated he would order the implants and I could expect surgery in 2 to 4 weeks. I never heard from him again. No response to any communication, wasted 8 weeks of my time.

did not provide reasonable level of care. he presents as very competent but very busy. i scheduled surgery but have several questions he was too busy to deal with. yuk.

Dr Hoyan fixed my sons wrist that was shattered ! He is awesome

I have a severe injury to my wrist from playing sports all my life. After reviewing the MRI (ordered by another physician) Dr Hoyen gave me cortisone shots on my wrist. He asked me to report back. Two months after the shots there was NO improvement. Over the next 6 weeks I have called his office twice, left detailed messages with the secretary. (who told me she is entering all the info into the computer so he will read it). I have yet to hear back from him. Really disappointed. No follow up.

I wasn't a patient but he took me immediately when I was having a problem after I broke wrist. He took time and was wonderful.

My experience was horrible. I had a flexor tendon repaired on my right pinkie finger about three years ago and my finger still looks like it was run through a meat grinder. About a month ago my pinkie finger started to swell up and burst open bleeding and pouring out puss on the opposite side of the surgery. I went to the doctor and they thought it might be a cyst but a couple days later it burst again and a blue-green string came out. It is still hanging out of my finger and seems to be pretty deep. I called Dr. Hoyens office and they made it sound like I was crazy and after about 10 minutes of convincing them that he was the only person who has been inside of my finger and that I don't have a history of spontaneously growing strings out of my body they set me up with an appointment in a MONTH AND A HALF. I was told by Dr. Hoyen to come back if I ever needed anything but the nurse made it sound like the offer had expired. Call me crazy but I don’t think it is too much to ask to have him remove a stitch the he left inside of me after any length of time. My experience was horrible. Dr.Hoyen operated and fixed my right shoulder the first time. Excellent care.

Recieved a $490 bill for a five minute office visit. Unbelievable.

I am amazed that we can get such state-of-the-art medical help, and thankful for experts such as Dr. Hoyen. My husband had a shoulder replacement. The physical therapist said he's doing way better than normal and Dr. Hoyen did a most excellent job on his shoulder.
