Dr. Gunjan M Modi

Dr. Modi performed my Moh's surgery recently, and I can't say enough about how incredible he has been to deal with. From his skill, attention to detail, and availability to answer all of my questions, he has been hands down the best doctor I have ever had for any reason. I just can't recommend him enough!

I recently had a procedure completed by Dr. Modi. It was a truly professional experience though out the entire time I was there. The entire staff was very friendly and very attentive. Even the musical selection was awesome. I’m not saying I want to have more procedures, but if I need to, I know where I’m going. Thanks doc.

I absolutely love going to see Dr. Modi! The office itself is beautiful comfortable and clean. The staff is amazing friendly and professional. Dr. Modi has an awesome personality and has very talented hands. He always does what’s right and I can sit and chat with him forever. Thank you Dr. Modi!

I had a produce done with Dr. Modi today. I was very nervous going in. I had my blood pressure up and everything. His staff made me feel comfortable and his knowledge paired with his amazing heart for helping people calmed me down. Never felt any pain during the procedure. Dr. Modi and the staff are great! He is very informative, skilled, and does a great job of putting you at ease.

I would recommend Dr. Modi to every person I know! He is thorough, caring, explains everything and has a great bedside manner. He does meticulous Moh’s surgery, which is important to me since I have had really bad work done in the past by a dermatologist in California. He’s the best in my book!

Thanksgiving day every year reminds me of my very first thanksgiving in Texas. My toddler sustained a laceration on his face. Dr Modi opened his arms and his office just for my toddler the very next day, on his day off, to repair the cut. Little did we know that my toddler would need his fine surgical skills yet again, day after Christmas! ???? There are very few doctors in the world who care as much as he does. As a dermatologist myself, I have to say I have learned a lot from him and his excellent bedside manners. I would give him ten stars if I could! Dr Modi and his staff are very professional. They are on time, explained what they were doing and then what I should expect once complete. Nice to go to a Doctor’s office who respects my time and knows how to keep a schedule.

Dr. Modi is a skilled surgeon and caring physician. He really puts the patient first and makes sure you are comfortable and treated in the best way possible. He is wonderful!

Dr. Modi was very professional and did a good job with the surgery but the follow up when a complication(infection) occurred is why he is getting a 1 star. His nurse was very unprofessional and was constantly contradicting the doctors orders on how to treat the infection. The doctor did not have time to see me the day the nurse decided to refer me to a wound care specialist. I still do not know if the doctor even knew I was there. Avoid this office because the doctor/patient care is lacking. I consulted Dr. Modi regarding post-surgical scar treatment on my face/neck. He was extremely knowledgeable and also explain what are the main stages in the healing process, how to care of the wound, what can hinder healing, and finally recommended some products that have worked well for other patients. Dr. Modi and his assistant were professional, listened to my concerns and presented me with options and their recommendations. Treatment was provided on the spot in a clean and courteous facility. I had multiple moles and areas of concern, he treated them all. I highly recommend him and this facility.

Dr. Modi is one of those rare surgeons who has great skill and a great personality. He went over the entire procedure for removing the squamous cell carcinoma on my neck and answered all my questions. I never felt like he was hurrying to get out of the room, but rather that I was the sole focus at the time. During the procedure, he kept me informed while he worked and ensured there was no discomfort. Two weeks later and I'm thrilled with the results as the area he worked on is so clean and well done with almost no visible evidence of surgery. His staff was very friendly and accommodating. In my conversation, they also indicated how much they enjoy working with Dr. Modi and that is very important when selecting a surgeon - the entire package. I hope it will be sometime before I have another skin cancer, but if (when) I do, I will seek out Dr. Modi to handle the surgery.

I was referred to Dr. Modi for excision of a melanoma. I found the office and Dr. Modi to be outstanding. My lesion was on my left temple and he took time to explain everything to me and my husband. I am a retired nurse so am very familiar with surgical procedures. He is excellent and has a great bedside manor.

My experience is that Dr. Modi and his staff are very professional, capable and courteous. He presented me with options for a mole removal, and in my case was able to do it on the spot. I got excellent results and highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Our dermatologist sent us to see Dr. Modi to address a skin cancer on my daughter’s back and I was so relieved at how well he and his staff handled it. They put my daughter and me at ease and addressed all of my questions and concerns.... the surgery was much easier than I feared it would be. Can’t recommend him enough for removal of skin cancers!!

Very satisfied with this office and doc

A competent physician who treats his patients with respect.Dr. Modi biopsied 3 places on my nose he expected as skin cancer. He also biopsied a smug on the back of my right ear because it was different. One site on my nose came back as squamish cell cancer; the smug on my ear came back as melanoma ? stage 0, because it was caught early. Good Catch. I also like Dr. Modi because he answers all your questions, look you in the eye when he speaks with you and shakes you hand when he greets you.

Dr Modi was excellent! I have been in the healthcare profession for 30 years and he is on my list of one of the best Doctors. This was my 3rd Moh's surgery at this office. I had some concerns prior to surgery with previous reactions to local anesthetics and he really went above and beyond to address this issue. Unfortunately, I did have some complications with a reaction and the medical assistant I spoke with was impatient, frustrated and rude. Tolerable 'hiccup' to great experience.
