Gregory Louis Groglio

My mom was a double bypass patient under the care of Dr. Groglio and his nurse Kirsten. It's hard to put into words the gratitude that I have for each of them. (So much so, they have earned the heroic nicknames of "Dr. Batman and Nurse Robin!") This dynamic duo is a team that I would trust with my very life and the very life of those that matter most to me. They are diligent about the details, thoughtful in their follow ups. Dr. G is so dear that he would casually sit at the foot of the hospital bed as he would do his rounds. Where some doctors may carry a chip on their shoulder, in contrast, Dr. G takes the role of a servant leader, coming to your level, and brings his expertise and kindness with him to meet you where you are. He is bold and confident so to effectively advocate for his patients in a medical world that is full of noise--but the underlying thread of that advocacy is a servant-hardheartedness that is rooted in the deep desire to provide excellent care for his patients and their families. Dr. Groglio is capable, prestigiously educated, experienced in his specialty, and he cares. He truly cares. If I could give he and Kirsten four hundred billion trillion stars for the mark they have made on our lives, I absolutely would.

6 years ago (on July 10, 2015) Dr. Groglio saved my life. I had 5 bypasses, a calcified artery that the Doctor broke 7 needles trying to pierce. Of the 4 main arteries 3 were 100% blocked and the 4th was 95% blocked. I actually died on the table and was brought back by Dr. Groglio and his team. Thank you Dr. Groglio...
