Dr Berlet is a great surgeon. He has a Great Staff from the check-staff to the check out staff (Caroline ). I love working with Linda Stone, Dr Berlet nurse technician and his PA Tom.

By far, the very best Ortho Surgeon I've ever had the pleasure of knowing and being treated by.

Office was efficient and kind, Dr. Berlet was informative and helped take the time to explain my injury and treatment plan thoroughly.

He is not only a skilled surgeon but he takes the time to listen to cares about his patients .

Professional, efficient and incredibly knowledgeable. Has completed two bunion surgeries for me and soon a neuroma surgery. Could not be more pleased!

After seeing several Doctors in the Cleveland area. Finally have a plan to get back on track. Dr. Berlet did a great job explaining the path on how I got to this point and the best options going forward. I really appreciate he took his time answering questions.

I absolutely Love the Dr. Berlet. He is so caring and to the point of what he is doing and what to expect with what ever procedure he is doing. And the office staff is just as caring and willing to answer any questions you may have and to help you however they can. I would highly recommend them for any foot and ankle problems you might have.

I think Dr Greg Berlet is very personable person but unfortunately I had to have 3 surgery’s in 2 years in my right ankle.. and it is still not fixed… scared to go somewhere else and they say I need another surgery or there is nothing they can do.. feeling defeated!!!

Dr Berlet took extra time to explain the whole procedure through pictures and notes . He also gave the healing time and limitations I would encounter .

Dr. Berlet and his staff are very courteous and they care about your well being. Dr. Berlet listens to you and explains your problem very well so you can understand what’s going on with your feet. You don’t feel rushed. He takes his time with you and comes up with a plan to get you on the path to recovery.

I was scheduled on a badly needed visit, promptly; I truly appreciate the staff and especially Dr. Berlet's thorough professionalism and kindness to me after quite a few years of treatment. I consider him a good friend.

Dr Berlet is consistently supportive, listens well, and answers questions thoroughly. I have had 2 very successful surgeries with him now and went from limping to pain-free walking.

I think Greg Berlet is simply the best. I had three other foot and ankle caregivers before him, and it wasn't until I came under his care in the last few years, that I have began to heal and see real progress.

What a great experience ! I have never been to a Doctor who is so thorough , explains everything in a manner you understand and is so caring . I never felt rushed , he asked me questions , I asked him questions and I understood everything when I left there. He even drew pictures showing what needed done, which helped me understand why I needed surgery and how it was going to be done . I might frame it! He’s amazing and the whole staff is wonderful as well. It may not have been the outcome I wanted, but I know it’s what I need. I trust Dr. Berlet completely and would highly recommend him to anyone !

Great Doctor great facilities staff could not be more helpful would highly recommend.Had my left ankle totally replaced just had five year check up no problems.

Dr Berlet is not only an expert in his field , he is a kind man. He takes a lot of time with you answering questions and finding out about you, as a person. I would highly recommend Dr Berlet!

Check in was efficient. Everyone was very kind, helpful and made the visit pleasant. Dr. Berlet listened to what I had to say about the pain I was having in my ankle. I had a CT scan and will follow up with him in two weeks for results.

Dr. Berlet is a wonderful doctor. I am so thankful that the orthopedic doctor that I was going to referred me to Dr. Berlet. I suffered with terrible pain in my ankle for over 3 years while trying to find out what was wrong, I could barely stand walking on it, until I went to see Dr. Berlet. Within just a couple of minutes he looked at my MRI and had a diagnosis and a solution. The bone in my ankle was collapsing because the blood flow was so poor into it. I wasn't even eligible for an ankle replacement at the time because the bone was in such bad shape. But Dr. Berlet was able to do a surgery that has now, 8 years later, given me a healthy enough bone to accept an ankle replacement. I just can't say enough about what Dr. Berlet has done for me. He's a God-send to me and has given me a hope and a future free from ankle pain. He is kind and caring and truly wanted to help give me back my quality of life. And you couldn't ask for a more professional and knowledgeable doctor. And I wouldn't trust anyone else. And everyone that works in his office is just as kind and caring.

Dr Berlet and his office staff are the best of the best!! I had a severe injury to my left lower leg and have had to get cortisone shots every 3 months in my ankle for the pain for years. I was told by literally every doctor that I saw that with the damage done, I should never have anyone touch it for fear of losing the leg if ever it was to be touched. I saw Dr Berlet some 17 years ago and had no idea that he had become one of the premier foot/leg surgeons in the USA If not the world. We talked for 2 years about what could be done and I finally decided to take the gamble and let him fuse my ankle. I would not have trusted anyone else in the world to do the surgery and now I am completely pain free in my ankle and off the Celebrex I have taken for pain for the last 20+ years, I no longer have to wear a brace which I had worn every day for the last 15+ years and will not need any further cortisone shots every 3 months. I flew home from Naples, Fl to meet with Dr Berlet. He and his complete staff are just so kind, patient and efficient! I may be having ankle replacement surgery and he is the only Doctor I completely trust to do this! I have had one ankle (right) replaced by him over 8 yrs ago! I have had absolutely no issues! On our first meeting he came in, shook my hand and said “Let’s get acquainted!” This is a Dr that sees you as a person first and cares about getting each person the best possible resolution for their condition. From the check in to scheduling follow up appointments the staff at Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center are top notch. As for Dr Berlet I cannot sing his praises enough. I have been with Dr Berlet for almost 15 years and I am so impressed with his compassion he has for his patients, I have never had a doctor that cares as much for his patients. I have never felt rushed when I have been in for an appointment, he answers all your questions in a way that it is easily understood. I have been through 2 ankle replacement with Dr Berlet and have had no problem with healing or rehabbing the ankles. Soon I will not need to come see him anymore and that is a bittersweet feeling for me, kinda like your your best friend is moving away. But I know if I have any future problems right where I will go. I have been seeing Dr Berlet for 20+ years. I not only have faith in his medical abilities , but also his advice & referrals. He is my go to guy for everything ortho! No one better in my opinion!

Had surgery on my foot so I could return to running.Dr Berlet truly cares about his patients and spends time explaining procedures and answering questions. Surgery and recovery was quick with PT. Back to running a couple of months after surgery and foot feels so much better than before the surgery. Highly recommended!!!

Dr. Berlet treats his patients as family and gets to know you as a whole person. I can’t tell you how awesome my experience was. He educated me regarding my issue and walked me through various options to work with me to decide best options. I can see why he is world renown. I trust him to provide the best surgical experience and will do everything he can to get me back to being fully active again.

He is professional and straight forward with a caring and concerned demeanor. Clear communicator, made a diagnosis I have not been able to get from other doctors. His knowledge and experience makes me hopeful I will get back to the activities I love.

When I first tried to see Dr. Berlet, I was asked a series of questions as if to determine if my situation was severe enough to warrant his care. I was having a problem so I made my first appointment and was supposed to see Dr. Philbin. But on arrival I saw Laura Rupert (Physicians Asst.) I was not examined ; in other words no one touched my foot to qualify my condition or even inquired about my condition. An x-ray was taken and I was told I had hammer toe. My family doctor said if I did, it was not obvious. I contacted Ortho again (explained my prior encounter) and this time I saw Dr. Bull. Really nice guy and attentive, but he too, never examined my foot. They did try to make me a pair of orthotics which they charge $350 and make in house. The orthotics did not remotely help my problem and my money was refunded. Last week I tried again to see Dr. Berlet and was told since I was seen previously by Dr. Bull, they (the doctors) would have to agree that Dr. Berlet could take over my case. Dr. Berlet again refused to see me even though I was referred by one of his previous patients. I see mixed reviews on Dr. Berlet's competency. I don't know Dr. Berlet's competency in foot and ankle care but he is certainly arrogant, pompous, and egotistical. My experience at this practice (when they were in Westerville) was not very good. Saw two medical professionals and neither one ever examined my foot! That's odd! Now they have moved and apparently took their attitudes with them. Well. I didn't see Dr. Berlet in the top tier of physicians rate physicians so I am sure I will find someone who is not only capable but compassionate to really care! I had joint fusion surgery on my right ankle - twice at Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center, both times by Dr. Berlet. The first surgery wasn't successful due to multiple factors, but I had complete faith and confidence in Dr. Berlet and his team that we could get better results the second time around. This story has an extremely happy ending! I have 80-90% fusion in the joint which is attributable to different hardware, Dr. Berlet's cutting edge techniques, my post-op compliance, and a huge amount of prayer. The team at Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center values each patient and makes the visit personable. I cannot recommend Dr. Berlet highly enough. He is a skilled and extremely compassionate doctor. Had TAR on both ankles, first in October and second in March. Great doctor and staff. Experience at office and hospital was excellent. Had surgery at Grove City Methodist Hospital and was well cared for. Had absolutely no pain following surgery thanks to polar pack. Dr. Berlet is fantastic. First of all, he listens (not a quality for all doctors). Then he genuinely tries to get an understanding of patient's lifestyle and issues. Finally he executes a plan that is sound and to the best interest of the patient. I had my Haglund's deformity operated and Achilles repaired. He did a great job. if your concerned please read. I had surgery in 2017 by doctor Gregory Berlet, i was left with foot pain that you would not want anyone to experience, it was such a bad job, i was afraid to return, for repairs and he could not assure me it could be fixed in our conversation. If i could post photos I would its unbelievable. my toes were left stuck in the air. The tendons are pulled so tight, which is what is causing the pain. I have been told by 2 other Doctors, another foot surgery is not advisable because i may loose a toe or two, not something i want to live through so please take cause when finding a foot doctor. Dr. Berlet did surgery on my foot 2 times! It started out as a torn ligament. He finally fused my big toe. He said it was straight! It is leaning over my second toe. He said neither of us is happy with the outcome of this surgery. That was the last time I saw him. Shameful after all the money, and pain. I wish I never had Dr. Berlet do my surgery. I will need to have reconstructive surgery soon. It is painful everyday!

Dr. Berlet did my achellis tendon surgery. I’m almost 6 mos. post op. My experience with Dr. Berlet and his staff was top notch. I am so happy and grateful for my sergeon’s excellent knowledge of foot and ankle. I never thought in a million years my recovery would be this awesome. My therapist was just as great in her knowledge of therapy as Dr. Berlet. The entire staff at Orthopedic Foot and ankle is professional, accommodating and caring. I had such a horrible surgery with doctor berlet I am left handicap. it has been a 3 year nightmare, I think you need to do your homework before you let Him do any surgery on you.

I had total ankle replacement done by Dr. Berlet. I saw 2 other doctors to get their opinion and I chose him, and I'm glad I did.

Dr. Berlet reattached both Achilles tendons after a strong black box anti biotic drug cause my tendons to rupture. It took about one year. but I am now back to normal and the tendons are healthy once again. DR BERLET IS SIMPLY THE BEST. One doctor I went to had to consult others in my case, not Dr. Berlet. He knew exactly what to do. He also used combination block and anesthesia for pain, and I only had to take a few pain pills during my recovery. He is an amazing doctor.

I used to run competive marathons competing in Boston several times. A few years ago I seriously sprained by ankle inward. I continued running and water skiing on it until I completely destroyed a major ligament and also the talus . I could only walk on a beach one way as the slope caused excessive pain. After my first meeting it was determined I would need two surgeries. One to replace a ligament the second an ankle replacement. Both went spectacular. Today I walk and ski with no pain thanks
