Grace Ching-Ling Kung

I was a patient of Dr.Kung for six years and she was a great cardiologist for my pre-existing condition. I am sad that I am transferring to an adult cardiologist. Always friendly and extremely knowledgeable.

Dr. Grace Kung has been our son's pediatric cardiologist for over 13 years at CHLA and has guided us through some very difficult times, including multiple surgeries and heart catheterizations. We have found her extremely knowledgeable, caring and cutting edge with my son's type of heart defect. In fact, she just recommend our son to a new program at the hospital. We are forever grateful for her services.

We have been with Dr. Kung for eight years now and we have nothing but positive vibes and excellent service.

Dr. Kung has been our cardiologist for years at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. We just started going again during the pandemic and she reassured us about many fears we had regarding Covid, etc. In the past, she supported us through some really difficult and traumatic times for our family, including open heart surgery for our six-month old and issues of heart murmurs with our other child. We thank her for being a knowledgeable and caring doctor and always answering any questions we have had or worried about. We also appreciate that when we had concerns she was always willing to email answers back. She is an excellent pediatric cardiologist.

Horrible bedside manner. Does not explain things well. I was unimpressed.

Horrible bedside manner. When you’re seeing her for fetal cardiology monitoring, there’s clearly already things going on and you’re anxious and worried. She was the most rude person. She delivered good news so poorly that we thought our sons heart wasn’t going to make it. It was such a horrible experience.
