Dr. Grace Marie Couchman

I saw Dr. Couchman for both of my pregnancies. Before the first one, we did all the standard fertility testing and found that I had undiagnosed endometriosis. I had corrective surgery with Dr. Couchman, and three months later, I became pregnant naturally with my son. He's now a healthy and happy two-year-old! I also went back for further testing before getting pregnant with my second. Dr. Couchman was great and the staff was always friendly and helpful.

So far, we've had one appointment with Dr. Couchman and it was conducted over the phone. She was kind, professional, and full of recommendations. I came to her confused by another doctor and wanting more options and she had them. I feel more confident in our fertility journey after just one meeting.

Dr. Couchman provided the best care and experience possible for my husband and I as we went through IVF. She has a calm presence and listens to your concerns and addresses them accordingly. She provides her input based on data and science and then lets you determine how you'd like to proceed forward. We felt 100% comfortable in her care and knew that we were in good hands which is extremely important going through fertility treatment. She is able to deliver tough news, but in a way that makes you feel like there is hope and not all is lost. Can't say enough highly recommend working with her as your fertility Dr.

I highly recommend dr. couchman as someone who compassionately understands the challenges of fertility problems and clearly communicates options without sugar coating. By the time I was meeting with her, I had already been through a lot of procedures and tried different things elsewhere, so I really appreciated her frankness in discussing the best possible course of action for me.

Dr. Couchman is wonderful! She listened to my needs and fears and really put me at ease. She explained the process I would need to do thoroughly and stopped along the way to see if I had any questions. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Couchman is really wonderful! I had a great experience with her. She explained well what was going on and went into treatment immediately. After 2 years of unexplained issues with the regular Gyno at Duke, we were pregnant after 3 months. We are elated and cant thank her enough!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Couchman! She had a lot of really helpful insight and was also very caring!

Thanks to Dr. Couchman and the entire staff at Carolina Conceptions, we have 2 healthy, happy boys! From our first appointment about 6.5 years ago, we found Dr. Couchman to be compassionate, honest, knowledgeable, and invested in our success to conceive. We never felt like a number or just another patient. Despite all the emotions surrounding infertility, we could not have had better experiences in the entire Carolina Conceptions office from beginning to end.

I had a wonderful experience at Carolina Conceptions! All the doctors, including Dr. Couchman, and the rest of the staff were informative, kind, and funny. I was lucky to be referred to this practice.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Couchman and she made me feel at the right place. Her kindness and caring attitude was evident throughout the visit. I was especially impressed with how she reassured me of a possibility of having a child at the verge of wanting to give up trying. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring fertility doctor.

Infertility is hard, but I always felt like Dr. Couchman cared. I now have one beautiful daughter and a second on the way thanks to Carolina Conceptions. It was a long, hard journey, but totally worth it. I would definitely recommending Dr. Couchman to anyone with infertility issues.

She provided advice on the best options available and the ranges of success we can expect with each. She never put false hopes in our minds and kept our expectations very grounded. We are now expecting the birth of our first child and we will always be thankful to her for helping this happen for us. We highly recommend Dr. Couchman and practice to others.

She always made me feel comfortable and gave me honest answers to questions I had but also made sure to be reassuring. She answered every email I sent, even when they became excessive, she never hesitated to be there. I ultimately ended up with successful results and will be returning again in the future.

Loved this practice, Dr Couchman and all staff there was wonderful. I went to CC after I was referred to another practice and was less than impressed. After some testing and lots of consultation and consideration, I did one round of IVF and conceived. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice. I'm so thankful for the blessing they helped me get:-)

Amazing doctor.

Dr Coachman was everything my husband and I needed during an extremely vulnerable and intensely stressful time in our lives. We recommend her care over and over again.

I highly recommend Dr Couchman. She was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and efficient. She gave us a plan of action from our very first appointment and within 2 months I was pregnant with our first child!!

Dr. Couchman was patient, kind and honest with me from my initial meeting. She took as much time as was required to ensure I understood information about my own body and what steps we would be taking to try to achieve our goal. The process of infertility is terrible- very few highs go with the many, many lows, but having a doctor and staff that are sensitive to your needs and aware of the your hardships really makes a world of difference. I am forever grateful to Dr. Couchman.

I did not connect with this doctor at all and I didn't feel there was any level of concern for my issues at hand. I was made to feel like I was in the wrong place for not knowing if pursing fertility treatment is what I want and was told to go to an obgyn for my Pcos and endometriosis. I will not go back here!
