Gobinder S. Chopra

This Dr. ordered every test imaginable on my first visit. i am told this is how he makes his money. After all of the tests came back Chopra seemed to care less about my condition. His sole objective is to make money and steal from the insurance companies.

Called to schedule with a forensic psychiatrist. Was cut off by the scheduler stating he is strictly a neurologist. Waste of time

During a recent encounter he gestured to my groin with a sniffing posture and said 'I don't know what you got going on down there.' Made me feel very uncomfortable, as an older man who has been around all kinds of people. In comparison to other neurologists offices, it takes a lot more time than expected to get testing completed. I thought they were trying to milk my insurance by making it ten visits instead of two.

Dr. Chopra very knowledgable and professional. We feel very fortunate to have discovered this thoughtful and very thorough Neurologist! We recommend him highly.

Worst experience and worst place ever!!! Stay away. You appointment will be cancelled all the time. Very disappointed.

Omg I took my Grandmother to this place and never again the front desk was very rude and the wife omg act like she didn't have any patience i wouldn't recommend no one to this dump yard.

Great experience as a first timer with the doctor. I can tell that front desk has taking there Customer Service Courses. . ... You guys take care and god bless and happy holidays

I'm sorry to say ,one star.only because Dr Chopra was nice and sympathetic treating me ,but last summer.being diagnosed with pulmonary nodules ,having thoracotomy,being in ICU at UMC twice for surgery opening up and pulmonary issues I needless to say cancelled and no show appointment s..I had alot of issues.now I need to return per primary for possible parkinson's..and they fired me as patient for the cancels I even apologize and explained.i have to say ..other physicians understand and know I have medical issues.i worked for a Cancer Center..we had patients who no show..we checked on them,we worked with them .so ..I don't recommend this office.its about the patient not the office. I don't wish to get into details about too much but I am beyond frustrated with this doctor and this office. After 1 year of expressing concerns and my concerns being brushed off I sought a second opinion. After 1 year of unnecessary seizure medication I was told by Mayo clinic that I did not have a seizure and should not have been put on seizure medication. Dr. Chopra did not listen to my concerns at all about the side effects of the medication and stated they were not a side effect of the medication. Fast forward 1 year later and I am told that all of the issues I had were side effects of my medication. There was a whole MS issue that is now nothing per Mayo. Upon further research of this doctor online and his billing practices I have great concerns about their billing and over medicating. I was referred to Dr. Chopra by my cardiologist. I attempted to schedule an appoint several times but kept having to leave a message. I was introduced to Dr. Chopra while being admitted in the hospital. He was the neurologist on call. He seemed very friendly and helpful and I went for a follow-up visit.. well, since I first saw him until I finally figured out what was going on with me, I WASTED over a year of my precious life. Dr. Chopra never diagnosed me but all he did was to send me to this doctor, that specialist. At the beginning I trusted the doctor, but even after having lab results, all kinds of scans, x-rays, MRI,spinal fluid, neurological tests and other relevant reports he was unable to treat or even tell me what is happening to me. I've come to realize that he didn't have enough knowledge and experience to give an appropriate diagnosis even though he had all the available information about me. I am a rational homosapien and I realize that neurological issues and diseases are difficult to diagnose, however a doctor who is committed to the"calling" will not waste a patient's precious time. I found a different doctor who was able to diagnose me after 2 visits. If you want a doctor who will send you here and refer you there,if you want a doctor who will be unable to help you or if you think that you have all the time in the world then this would be a perfect fit. Front desk was so friendly answered all my questions, Dr. Chopra was very thorough while explaining things to me 10/10 recommend this office!!

When other physicians were implementing care plans that might afford me temporary relief Dr. Chopra sought to heal me at the source.

I’ve been seeing Dr Chopra since 2017. He speaks openly and to the point with his patients about their health. He’s a wonderful doctor. Dr. Chopra is a very kind and caring doctor.

The most amazing, helpful and knowledgeable office staff I have ever dealt with. Because of an accident I have to go to a neurologist, I went to a few but Dr. Chopra was able to help me and understand my issues far better than any other. Highly recommend him.

As I write this review, I can barely contain my disgust for this doctor. Now, before dismissing this review as just another angry patient (there are plenty of those), I am the husband of a wife whose self-esteem and confidence were crushed by this doctor for almost a year. After my wife recently sought the second opinion of medical professionals outside the State of Nevada, we finally learned that after a year from hell, she was very likely misdiagnosed by one of the worst hospitals in Las Vegas. I never doubted my wife’s health and questioned early the events that led to our referral to this doctor. During almost a dozen medical visits with him, I never felt he permitted my wife to truly articulate the event that precipitated our “need” for him; that, or perhaps he just wouldn’t listen. Of course, that’s hard to do when this office over-schedules patients and makes them wait for hours. No joke. Plan on making your appointment an all day endeavor, which is something that was difficult to do for two attorneys such as my wife and me. I was rarely able to join her due to this bizarre scheduling tactic. Now, the long waits and frequent visits might be excusable if I believed this doctor was capable of any genuine, independent thought and had bothered to question the original diagnosis. My wife and I expressed tremendous doubt as to its validity from the onset, and rather than listen to his patient, this doctor green-lit a years worth of medication and treatment that—in the end—was completely unnecessary, expensive, and dangerous. My wife expressed concerns as to the side-effects of the medication. The doctor dismissed them. We inquired as to getting off the medication and were met with a variety of excuses even though the medication—for almost a year—remained below clinical levels. Appointment after appointment, we were never closer to an answer as to our next steps. Then, just before my wife and I were about to switch insurance providers and we informed this doctor, he hastily recommended one final highly unnecessary, invasive, and costly medical procedure. We sought help elsewhere and, “waddayaknow,” the last year of putting our family on hold, putting our business on hold, crushed spirits, mass confusion, and an ever-growing sense of doom and despair was for nothing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR. I cannot begin to express how disappointed I am with his office and services. I will never recommend my clients obtain services from him or anyone affiliated with him. I will actively encourage his patients that come to me in any personal or professional context seek a second opinion. And I truly hope that one, solid investigation leads to his inevitable removal from an industry that I have now witnessed first-hard is prone to greed, over-billing, and gross incompetence.

Yet another doctor who doesn't have the time for you. Unbelievably unprofessional. My first encounter with him he came in asked me no questions at all just had me do a couple of things with my eyes closed. Didn't even care about why I was there. The second encounter I went for an emg and needle test. Now I looked up how a needle emg was done because I needed to know what to expect. Well he basically came in to the room and proceeded to repeatedly stab the needle in and rip it out. You are supposed to be relaxed to get a proper reading and they are supposed to go much slower than what he did. So needless to say I left the office feeling as if I had been asaulted. He was completely rude and even refused to allow my husband to be in the room for comfort, and I'm guessing it was so there were no witnesses to how I was treated. This doctor did not spend a lot of time with me explaining the details of my condition. He rushed the appointment and seemed irritated when I asked questions. He wants frequent visits to his doctor office but I see that it’s unnecessary. What really made me upset is that he seemed short tempered instead of having patience. I'm only giving them one star because I have to give a rating to leave a review. This is the worst office staff I have ever encountered. I am a mother with 2 children and unfortunately have been seeing a neurologist since I was 18 now 31. New to Vegas my dr referred me here. It looked great internet wise but front staff is HORRIBLE! I originally spoke with Alma, I needed an appt asap so they only had a 1:30pm available. I set my appt and I her let know I would have to bring my kids because my son gets out of school at 2PM and that is cutting it very close. She said that it would be fine. I arrive and check in. I'm handed papers to complete and it in the lobby. The front desk person calls me up & says "do you have someone to watch them because the dr cannot see you with kids. He won't see patients if he cannot have thier undivided attention for the exam." I informed her I let the lady know over the phone and that my kids always have attended my appointment. She refused to allow me to be seen the whole time having a smirk on her face as if its funny. I asked it's speak to a the dr regarding it she gets her manager whom refuses to let me speak with him then says she asked all the staff and they wouldn't ok that. I'm in tears at this point because I need to see a neurologist asap. They have a sign that says they do not discriminate sex race or religion but they clearly do agaisnt those with children. I will be contacting my attorney regarding discrimination and should anything happen before I can find a new Dr. I will pursue malpractice. Dr. Chopra is amazing. He has never ever been wrong. He has listened to me, explained thoroughly every aspect of his diagnosis, and he truely cares.

I was treated well. The office staff were friendly. I had some nerve tests done. The assistant that did the first tests was kind and very professional. Even laughing at my silly jokes. The next part where the doctor took over was very fast and a little painful. Needles in your skin does that. I suggest if you have any questions, that you write then down and ask when you can. Thorough takes time with the patient, explains treatment plan

Worst place to come. Had a 1pm appointment for my husband didn't get seen until 230pm. Everyone after us that came in went first. Like the last time I checked it should go by appointment times.

So I show up on time. They call the day before to confirm a time and that’s when I showed up. They say I’m late and refuse to see me. The office girls can’t get their act together. Another gentleman in the lobby said they had called Him to ask him when his appointment was. Then changed it from his original one. As I’m leaving with my new appointment card the girl tells me the wrong time, then laughs about it like wasting peoples time is funny. The front office staff is completely rude and unprofessional. The dr himself to me seems like he just wants to bill people for unnecessary tests and just milks a patients insurance for as much as he can. I explained I have 5 kids and it’s difficult to have frequent appointments. ALSO, I have been stable on medication for 10 years. All labs and tests came back normal. When I went to check out, he put 4 months down for a return appointment. I explained he said 4-6 months in the room and asked the staff to please ask him. She wasn’t happy, but did (I assume) and he refused to let me return in 5 months. She told me he would not refill my prescription if I didn’t see him in 4 months. Honestly, he didn’t even sit down in my appointment. He talked to me for about 3 min because there isn’t really anything to talk about. He wants to see me every 4 months for that? I thought he was just being thorough, but now I feel like he is making a lot of money off of a patient who is used to seeing her doctor once or twice a year. Caring and skilled doctor, takes the time needed

Staff very nice, Dr. is very nice tries to make you feel comfortable, not so nervous, very pleasant.

So far so good for me. I have had 2 appointments so far. The first ran a little late, maybe 30-45 minutes but after meeting with Dr. Chopra you can understand why. He cares. He is friendly, to the point but will answer everything without making you feel rushed. My second appointment was for a nerve test. Is not an epilepsy specialist. Doesn't have the patience with patients. Suggested that patience symptoms is not consistent with tests, got very upset and referred to another doctor because after 2 visits he redeemed a patience not treatable for him

Just to let anybody know bout this doctor offices they charge a $50.00 charge fee to cancel your appointment or reschedule. Which is stupid and they also desperately needed more money in their doctors come-on now. Smh

Honestly my appointment when I seen him was amazing. Nice office space clean and the staff is really helpful and nice. But what I do not like is they do not call you to let you know they have received your blood work and testing results back. I have to wait 3 weeks to get my results back even though they have my results in the office because he’s booked for being out for 2 weeks. Having head issues and having to wait that long to be seen can be critical. The office opened at 8:00am but they didn’t answer my call until 9:10am due to the answering service coming on hours after it opened. Not ok not perfessional. He has done good for me so far

I totally love Dr Chopra, he takes time with each patient. Staff is nice and Gaby is always helping me and my husband, she is a sweetheart.

Hands down the best doctor. My father started coming here after going two years to a different one. He was recommended to us to take him there. I’ve been sick for almost ten years and thanks to him I finally found out what I have. And now he’s treating my sister and let me tell you he listens to you. I suggest bring any questions you may have in writing because he is so busy and speaks real fast. I have canceled appointments 24hrs before and had no problems. Highly recommended. He is an excellent, intelligent doctor who is very thorough. His office staff is manipulative and difficult to work with. Skipped my appointment that I was there on time for and then told me I needed to reschedule. When I refused , they took everyone before me. Waited over an hour.

Courteous staff, always remind me of my appts, Dr. Gobinder is easy to talk to, actually listens to my concerns; if any, & never had problems of running out of my medications.

Dr. Chopra is, without a doubt, the most qualified, professional and experienced physician you could choose. His kind and caring manner is so refreshing and comforting. He is amazingly knowledgeable and expertly trained, I cannot think of anybody who I could recommend more highly!

Most arrogant doctor I've ever met. Doesn't listen to patients, just tells you what he thinks is wrong and does useless tests. After a year of nonsense, no resolution.

New patient, got appt quickly. My first visit with Chopra lasted 5 minutes- he asked me no questions but told me he would order tests confirm a diagnosis of MS. I paid large copays for tests in his office, thinking this would be faster than waiting on company referrals. NOT!!!! His staff refused to give me a follow-up appointment less than 4-6 wks after last in-office test. He told me not MS, but would test for infections. Next appt 6 wk. Labwork not for infections! 5 months & $ WASTED!!!!!

I saw Dr. Chopra at Sunrise Hospital. He spent at most 5 minutes with me and did not tell me about the tests he was ordering. The worst part was that the hospital did not include one of my test results in their online medical records, so when I looked it appeared as if all of my results were normal. I did not learn about an abnormal test results until 2 months later when the DMV sent me a letter that my license was suspended due to a medical condition.

Doctor was fine was worst staff I've seen in ANY Drs office. Very rude! Scheduled very important 24 hour EEG had to wait 7 weeks for test. Showed for appt. Drs. Office moved! No one called to tell us! We called them, they said they called and cancelled all apps. When they looked us up they said we were never scheduled to begin with! We have the paper from their office with the scheduling on it. That was 4/27 they never even called,apologized,reschedule. Was a life chg event Don't mess wth lives!
