Dr. Gilbert really helped our son get past his separation anxiety. She also helped his dad and me learn how to better handle his upsets. I highly recommend her!

I highly recommend Dr. Gilbert! She tested our son and her findings and recommendations were so helpful. Our son immediately felt comfortable with her and he enjoyed the sessions. Her suggestions have helped us learn how to support him so much better!

We were referred to Dr. Gilbert by a friend whose children also use her, and we are SO thankful. Our daughter was struggling with multiple issues, but after a few sessions, she is now thriving. We highly recommend her!

Seems nice and the kids liked her, but she supports their every whim. Many sessions were a waste. Instead of focusing on the reason for the counseling (molestation), they discussed whatever trivial thing the kids wanted to. She said (in front of my teen) that I am not to speak to her about religion. What?? I tried to say how that made me feel, and she cut me off, saying she would not ALLOW me to talk. Sorry, communication should be encouraged, & a parent has a right to express moral values!

I would not recommend Dr. Gilbert to anyone. She is the stereotypical Scottsdale clinician that is more focused on her pocketbook than caring for her patients. She took multiple sessions and got absolutely nowhere with my child. It was a total waste of not only time, but money.
