Dr. Callender was highly recommended by my church friend, but I sought a second opinion and I am so glad I did! I am completely cancer-free and I don't need a second surgery. I suggest you take time to look around.

Phenomenal surgeon! Genius with a superb bedside manner

Dr. Callender is at the top of her game. She is thorough, caring and is the very best at what she does. She is very personable, takes her time with you, explains everything and goes out of her way to make you feel cared for. I recently had a partial thyroidectomy and she spent extra time and attention to every detail, from surgery through recovery. Her entire team, from her office staff to surgical team are top notch. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with Dr. Callender. With her, you are in very good hands.

Dr. Callender is a wonderfully caring, compassionate doctor at the top of her field. Anyone lucky enough to have her as their surgeon can know they have the best person for the job!!!!

Dr Callender is amazing. I had a thyroid mass about 5 to 6 cm large, She made an incision only 4cm long to took it out. Besides, the incision is perfect. Her whole team is friendly and responsible. Explained every thing clear and thorough. Really a good doctor!

I was treated by Dr. C back in April 2016. She was outstanding. Very thorough and answered all questions completely. The pre and post-operative experience was just as she described. She does many thyroidectomies per year (300-ish), not a few here and there. This is her specialty. From the research I have done, I would argue that she is one of the best in the country I found her to be very realistic, upbeat and with a great sense of humor. Her assistant, Karen S. (RN) was superb as well.

My wife had a nodule removed from her isthmus by Dr. Callender today (5/03/16). Dr. Callender was outstanding through the entire process - from the hour she spent with us in pre surgery consultation, to how she and her whole team went above and beyond to make my wife feel comfortable on the day of the surgery, to the post surgery meeting. She showed empathy and compassion which in my experience is rare in her field. I would highly recommend Dr. Callender
