Dr. Gitika Dhillon

I have a great team of medical doctors that have worked to help my aggravated allergies, asthma, nasal polyps and NSAD issues. Dr Dhillon went beyond, behind the scenes, to help my case get approved for medication by my insurance provider, that my other providers had difficulty obtaining. Her efforts resulted in my disease being more effectively treated. My last few lung function tests, and my own experience of being healthier, are proof to me that she deserves a great appreciative thank you!

I am so grateful that Dr. Dhillon has been treating me. After telling my primary care doctor for years that something was wrong as I struggled with continual sinus and upper respiratory infections, low energy and constant fatigue, it was a relief to have a medical professional listen and take time to do proper tests and research. Discovering I have an immunodeficiency disorder and starting weekly infusions has been a lifesaver and completely changed my quality of life. I have significantly more energy, have fewer infections, and am starting to feel better for the first time in a long while. I would highly recommend Dr. Dhillon for her expertise and responsiveness.

Had to suggest my treatment to her. Dr. Dhillon needs to respect her patients enough to hear what they share about their medical history & treat them with compassion. I saw her for a skin condition I had had before that was treated successfully with steroids, I was just looking for the source because I had a history of allergies. When I saw her, I'd had it for 2 months, and it was getting worse, it had spread from my chest to my neck, face, shoulders, and back. It was pretty awful looking & I couldn't hide it with clothes. When the allergy tests gave no clue what my rash was from, I had to beg her for the steroids that had cleared it in the past. She was going to let me live with it and let the dermatologist figure it out when I saw them in a month. She kept telling me she thought it was adult acne, even though it did not resemble acne in texture, appearance, and the way it was spreading. No, she's not a dermatologist, but patients should not have to suggest the treatment & plead with their doctors to get help. And yes, the dermatologist gave me a stronger round of steroids & it is clearing. Had to suggest my treatment to her. Well knowledged and spends her time with patients with out rushing. Friendly, professional and compassionate. Will recommend her to anyone.

She spent a lot of time explaining my condition and the treatment options. Answered my questions without trying to rush me. I have great confidence in her as a provider, and would have no hesitation recommending her to friends and family.

With an appointment I had to wait over an hour to see this doctor. When I was finally called she came in and was in a rush because she was running behind. The staff at her office are not the friendliest, it’s strictly business there no greeting when you walk in the office at all. Just got used to a much warmer welcome at Dr Baruch Friedman’s office.

I visited Dr. G. Dhillon in January 2017 and she was extremely knowledgeable, patient with my questions ( the resident's questions also), explaining what it is that she does and treatment options. She also provided me with an insurance "cheatsheet" with questions and CPT codes to inquire about. They made the process less complicated than what I knew the process to be. She did not pressure me into any treatment options, simply gave me all options. Loved her and look forward her as my provider.
