Dr. Gilbert Wilshire

Dr. Wilshire is a ok Doctor and I feel that he is somehow trying to help his patients, but his nurse Marnee and all other staff are not good, not caring and not supportive at all. After I had two miscarriage's not even one person from the office have called me and asked how I'm doing. And after Dr. Wilshire hurt his shoulder and couldn't perform egg retrieval they told me to stop all my medication and that they are stopping my protocol, even though I was already taking hormones for two weeks. Being just single Doctor at the office I feel that Dr. Wilshire is just overwhelmed and needs to be more organized. Hormones are not a vitamins and he cannot just play with people health like that. After moving our embryos to St. Louis clinic, I got 2 healthy boys!

We came to Dr. Wilshire and his team after a failed IVF at a separate clinic. From the office staff to medical staff, they are helpful and show empathy. Dr. Wilshire was especially helpful explaining things in simple terms without feelings of judgment. We now have 2 boys, both IUI and IVF have been successful. We are forever grateful.

We are very thankful to Dr. Wilshire and his team. Experts, caring, and empathetic. Can’t say enough good things!

Hands down one of the worst doctors I have ever meant. Fraud. Do yourself a favor and go to a different doctor. What a creep.

Dr. Gilbert Wilshire is an amazing fertility doctor and human being. He is the reason we have our twins, who are now 23 years old! At the time he practiced in New Jersey and we were very fortunate to have been referred to him when we were struggling to have children. He even came to the hospital to visit and meet the babies once they were born. We are forever indebted to this doctor.

Dr. Wilshire and his staff are fantastic. I was first referred to him when I had an ectopic pregnancy. He recommended removing one of the damaged fallopian tubes and ultimately that was a great decision. He always made sure to give me all of the information and options available to us. His staff, especially Kim, made us feel like they really cared about my husband and I, giving us big hugs when we got sad and ultimately great news. I was even a bit sad to have to be transferred to a regular OBGYN once I hit 12 weeks. Great staff and highly experienced!

Hands down the best Doctor and Team around! My husband and I initially started seeing Dr.Wilshire in 2010 when we couldn't get pregnant. He suggested reconstruction surgery since I basically have a half of a uterus and a few other issues. We tried a few rounds of IUI. I miscarried the first one. We had more fails after that and discussed IVF(In-Vetro fertilization). We did IVF in 2014 and it was successful! We had a beautiful full term baby boy born December 2014! After that we had 5 remaining embryos, miscarried one, and the rest did not take. We chose to do IVF again in 2018 and had our embryos genetically tested of which we had 8 beautiful embryos. We transferred the best one and it took! I can assure you that Dr.Wilshire does make dreams true and he will not give up until he makes it happen! His nurses Marnee, Kim, & Amanda simply are the best at helping you through the difficult times of fertility and the emotional rollercoaster it can sometimes be. It was eleven years ago, Dr. Penney and Dr. Wilshire along with their entire staff were an amazing, unforgettable part of our lives. They helped us fulfill an incredible dream for my husband and I. My husband and I are currently seeing Dr. Wilshire for fertility treatment, and I have to say I am extremely grateful we walked into his office. I am aware that not all treatment is 100% guaranteed but he really puts the hope back in your heart. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 7 years. We we're recommended by one of his successfully treated patients. We saved up money and started the process. Not knowing the cost of anything was scary but from the very first conversation I had on the phone with his staff, they were very upfront and honest about the payment. Which turns out to be very affordable. When we went in for our first visit they were extremely nice and caring. You could feel the passion from the staff and Dr. Wilshire. It was amazing, almost overwhelming. To just feel all of the support and warmth around me truly reassured me that I was in fact in the right hands. I had a previous miscarriage before I heard of Dr. Wilshire. I ended up getting pregnant before seeing Dr. Wilshire, but he saw me up until my 9th week of pregnancy. Hands down, it was the most comfortable experience of my life. The staff made me feel so welcome, and the atmosphere was incredible. I would definitely recommend Dr. Wilshire to anyone. I will be staying in touch with him, as well as his staff about my progress. He made the whole process so easy and stress free! 5 stars!

We had a great experience with Dr. Wilshire and his team. Everyone was helpful and pleasant whether it is the person checking you in or the doctor himself. It is obvious that they are very knowledgeable about the subject and will keep you informed as you go through the process.

I have really enjoyed my experience with Dr. Wilshire. He listens, really seems to care, and is honest. I am coming to him after a failed IVF at a different clinic and it was a breath of fresh air to start treatment with him and his staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Wilshire and his team.

I first went to see Dr. Wilshire after hearing from a coworker how much he had helped her with her fertility issues (she had twins). After a few failed IUI's, Dr. Wilshire and his nurses voiced concerns that I may have endometriosis. Though I didn't have any symptoms, it turned out that I had stage 2 and also a fibroid on my uterus (now all gone!). He and his staff were extremely caring throughout our whole journey, and made me hopeful. Thanks to Wilshire and his nurses I am now 8 weeks along!

Did not seem to review my information before appointment. If he would have reviewed my info before hand he would have known he could not help me and saved me the Hope and then the Crushing Disappointment.

What a jerk. Joked about taking my copay to meet his house payment. Lady at check in was lovely but she was only positive in my visit to office

Absolutely love Dr. Wilshire & his team! Everyone there is very friendly and they make you feel comfortable when you're there. Dr. Wilshire does a good job explaining things so that I can understand and he seems to really care unlike some other doctors I've been to. Definitely recommend this place!!!

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. After 2 AIs, we conceived & had a miscarriage. While preparing for a 3 AI round, I was told paying for a third IA treatment would be "a waste of my money". We decided to trust our instincts & ignore the self righteous doctor (yes, he is a VERY pompous man). We were blessed with a beautiful baby boy! Regardless of your limited options in Mid-Missouri, GO...RUN to another clinic even if it means a longer drive.

Dr. Wilshire and his team are absolutely amazing. After 4 years of infertility, we're finally expecting our first baby. I can call the office at any time with questions, I never have to wait for a call back because I am put through to a nurse right away. I feel very comfortable with the whole team. Dr. Wilshire is keeping a very close eye on me for the first few weeks and I am confident that I would not get the same level of care at an ob at this point in my pregnancy.

My wife and I are so delighted by the care we received at Dr. Wilshire's office. Everyone was so supportive of us along our journey: Dr. Wilshire, the nurses performing procedures, and even the administrative staff. We had a fairly poor experience at our previous fertility clinic and were referred to Dr. Wilshire by a friend. We are now both pregnant at the same time thanks to him and his team! We have already begun recommending him to other friends.

Dr. Wilshire is one of the worst doctors I have ever dealt with. He is unprofessional and crass. I can't believe he still has a license. Don't waste you time on this jerk!! Plus, he misdiagnosed me and said my chances of ever getting pregnant were less than 5 percent. I went to a RE in St. Louis and now have twins!!!

Dr Wilshire and his staff were so helpful, comforting, and professional. They were easy to get a hold of, my appointments were always on time if not early, and the fully explained everything that was happening. Even better...after 1 round of IUI, we successfully conceived!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr.Wilshire and his team since 2010. I have had reconstructive surgery by him and wouldn't trust anyone else! He is a very smart and a well educated doctor! His nurses Kim, Amanda, and Marnee are extremely helpful in everything needed for any procedures being done! If it weren't for Dr.Wilshire we wouldn't have our IVF miracle! I have always recommended him to anyone that has fertility complications and I always will!
