I really can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Azizi. He’s an expert in his field and really cares about his patients.

They are on time! This is a wonderful quality in my opinion when it comes to doctors. I hate wasting my time sitting around and at this office I have never been taken in late. Everyone at this office is amazing and very kind, professional and knowledgeable.

I’m originally from Wilmington NC, but am stationed at Fort Stewart in GA. Was trying to see an endocrinologist in Savannah for uncontrolled Graves Disease, (tried booking appt in February) and they couldn’t see me till end of September. My husband called this office up, since we were familiar with the area and have family there. They were able to see me right away, started my treatment and really listened to what I had to say! The customer service and the quality of healthcare in my opinion exceeds a 5 star! Hands down the best Dr I've ever had. He's extremely knowledgeable as well as professional. His office runs very well and there is rarely a wait. I wish Dr Azizi had an office in Pittsburgh where I now live.

Great care by the whole Wilmington Endo team. Dr. Azizi explained everything that was going on that was easily understood. One of the smoothest on-time doctors offices that I have experienced.

Dr. Azizi is a rockstar! After years of symptoms, I found Dr. Azizi and he was able to diagnose a thyroid nodule and find an infected parathyroid. He coordinated care with the endocrine surgeon and I recently had successful surgery. His caring, research based knowledge and skills are amazing. We are lucky to have him in the Wilmington area.

Dr. Azizi is patient, professional and kind. He is very thorough with all of his testing and explanations to ensure you are properly diagnosed and fully understand the prognosis. Both him and his staff are very helpful and welcoming. He also has the most up to date diagnostic equipment which makes you feel at ease when being diagnosed that nothing will be missed. I highly recommend him to everyone.

The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Azizi was extremely knowledgeable and was able to help me get my meds changed and managed dosages to get me feeling much better. I was so happy to finally feel like myself again without all the side effects. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Azizi to anyone with Thyroid issues.

Dr. Azizi is one of a kind ,he has the kindest manner about him I have ever seen in a Doctor. He caught Thyroid cancer in both myself and my grand daughter in the same month. I am forever gratefull to him.

I was having a problem with my parathyroid. I saw Dr. Azizi and he knew exactly what my problem was when he examined me after 5 years of misery. He sent me to UNC for surgery and I have never felt better. He is an awesome doctor and his staff is wonderful.

Will never recommend this doctor. Incredibly intelligent and also incredibly arrogant. Clearly making enough money to refuse patients. Just bear in mind that if you miss a total of 3 appointments whether you pay a fee or not, Dr. Azizi will REFUSE to see you. They will refuse to acknowledge a cancellation and mark it as a no-show. Even if you have an emergency and contact the office, it counts as a no-show and will add to your “no-shows”. Before becoming established for 10 years at this practice and becoming familiar and comfortable with this doctor, be sure and go ahead and know if you’re going to have an emergency and not be able to attend your appointment? With intelligence and accomplishment comes arrogance and insensitivity. Concerned with money, as if there is a lack of. Good luck.

Dr. Azizi, M.D. in my opinion was a superbly trained endocronologist. He removed a parathyroid gland that was malfunctioning and would cause harm to my body. The care I received was stellar and above and beyond. I highly recommend his expertise !

Dr Azizi and his staff have been fantastic. I was nervous about getting my thyroid removed but he was excellent at pinpointing and explaining Hashimoto’s and the thyroid cancer. He has a kind and easy way about himself that makes it comfortable to sit back and relax as his patient. If you have thyroid issues, this is your guy. I always recommend Dr. Azizi to everyone. He cares about his patients and very thorough. He explains everything clearly so you understand. His entire staff is outstanding. I have been a patient since 2006 and I drive 2 hrs to get to appointments, I will not go anywhere else!

Dr. Azizi rocks! I have never experienced a doctor more on top on his practice than Dr. Azizi. Within a week and a half, new patient set up was complete, labs done, ultrasound, nuclear thyroid uptake test at the hospital, results, and Rx meds called in for treatment. I wish every experience at a doctor's office was this smooth. Amazing practice and staff! I could not be more pleased with them. Dr. Azizi and Michelle Mayo, PA-C are both wonderful providers! They are both very thorough and friendly and took time to answer any questions. The office staff is very friendly too. They took care of me throughout my pregnancy and monitored my thyroid levels very closely and always contacted me very quickly (even on the weekend!) when I needed to adjust my dosages. Dr Azizi really deserves more than 5 stars because he saved our daughter, Christina ‘s life. No other doctor had recognized that she had cancer in any of the previous states we had lived or that she had lived while stationed with her husband in the military.Dr Azizi discovery of her stage 4 very rare form of thyroid cancer lead to saving her life. His subsequent study of her disease T cell type and rarity was published AMA December 2015 ( I believe that is the correct year of publication ) As a medical layperson I am not even beginning to explain the full scope of Dr. Azizi ‘s Science and Endocrinology expertise. Whenever I went for my appointment, the staff are always helpful. They explain and questions i may have about my insurance, procedures, etc. Dr. Azizi explained to me how important it is to keep my appointment and even congratulated me on my weight loss success that's helping improve my thyroid. I have been a patient of Dr Azizi for 13 years now. When I first went to his office, he determined I had 3 nodules that looked abnormal. He put me on medication for 3 months & had me to return for another ultrasound. He biopsied them & 2 of them were cancerous. He set me up for surgery right away for a complete thyroidectomy. After surgery, he was able to get me on the correct dochage of medication. I see him every year for an ultrasound and am doing great. It’s always such a pleasure to visit

I am so glad that Dr. Azizi was available to see me when I had an issue with thyroid nodules. He was very aggressive in his diagnosis as opposed to my previous endocrinologist. The final results were good, but he recommended a genetic testing on my tissue that reassured me that the nodules are non-cancerous.

Dr Azizi is a wonderful example of a doctor who takes his oath very seriously. He is professional, compassionate and in my observation cares for all people with the same level of proficiency. It would take an essay to share all of the fine qualities of Dr Azizi. The staff at Wilmington Endocrinology share the same level of professionalism, dedication and care that Dr. Azizi models. The office is very clean, warm and inviting and the staff make each person that enters feel welcome. Exceptional!

Dr. Azizi is amazing! He takes the time to listen to you, he really cares for his patients. His staff is very friendly and when you have to have your blood drawn they have the best nurse, you don't feel a thing when he sticks you with the needle. Thank you Dr.Azizi and staff!

I have never had such a pleasant appointment. From the time I walked in the door until the time I left, I saw a total of 6 people. Every single one of them were extremely courteous and helpful. I even called back the next day to tell the Office Manager about my experience and she was courteous as well. I don't recall ever seeing a doctor and the doctor telling me that it was nice to meet me when he walked out, but Dr. Azizi did. Great experience!!

I would recommend Wilmington endocrinology they saw me when my health was at it's worst and took the time to explain to me what was going on and made recommendations for treatment that would best meet my needs. Dr. Azizi is very passionate about his work cand shows great compassion in treating his patients. He and his staff treat everyone with great care with concern for their well being.

I have been a patient of Dr. Azizi for the past few years. I have referred several people to him. Dr. Azizi is very knowledgeable and caring. Love his entire staff!

The best experience ever! Highly recommended! For years, I have been dismissed or assumed crazy by several dozen so-called specialists, which gave severe doctor-related anxiety. I was so nervous to meet Dr. Azizi that I was nearly in tears. I expected him to take some bloodwork, tell me everything was normal and send me on my way. Not at all! He actually listened, got to know me, told me that labs aren't everything, and performed the tests I need to finally confirm a diagnosis. He is the best!!!

I found him to be a one trick pony; not interested in further educating himself on hormonal and thyroid health and not helpful with the treatment of hashimotos. I am still baffled at an endocrinologist who does not address hormones. What? He will give you an ultrasound to prove you have thyroid issues and write you a script for a drug that is not helpful to most people who take it. He's a one size fits all MD who has found his niche in banking on the high diabetes population in the area. Pass.

Dr Azizi takes the time to get to know the whole story of his patients. He offers clear options and reasoning in understandable terms. He is confident in treatment approach and thorough in implementing care plan. The staff, including nurses, front admin, and lab techs, is amazingly efficient, friendly, and easy to work with. When you call, THEY ANSWER THE PHONE!Rarely, do I ever have to leave a message and when I have done so, THEY CALL BACK promptly always the same day. Always on time too.

I drive about 90 miles from New Bern, NC to see Dr. Azizi and his staff and it is well worth the drive and my time. I saw another endo, closer to New Bern and felt that I was nothing more than a test animal, she wasn't interested in my well being, just info for her next study.
