Dr Mullin is an expert Gastroenterologist, who is also very kind and listens

During my initial visit that lasted 10 min he ordered 3 tests but never looked at me. When the tests were completed he never get back to me with the results. After one month since the last test, I contacted the office and asked – the tests completed, what’s next? The doctor replied – you do not have GI problems and referred me to my PCP! My second question was -do I have gallstones? I asked that because I suspected that the gallstones causing me the pain I am having from time to time. He said - Yes. That's all I've heard from the doctor. Gallstones is a serious medical condition that require treatment. But for doctor Mullin that’s not a GI problem! That’s pretty amazing!!! The test reports also revealed some other smaller medical conditions that were completely ignored. He obviously does not care about a patient. I am 70 y. o. but I never saw such an attitude from a doctor before. Now I am where I was before visiting doctor Mullin.

After a televisit followed by endoscopy procedure Dr. Mullin identified that I am not gluten sensitive and can eat gluten again via testing. Also identified my problem is gastritis in my endoscopy exam and prescribed medicine to help with it. Great gastro doc highly recommend. If I need to see a gastro specialist again he will be my number 1 choice thanks Dr. Mullin! I accompanied my mother to an appointment with Dr. Mullins. The MA didn’t not review her medications with her and neither did the doctor. He kept saying my mom was a diabetic when she is not and never has been. He did not take the time to review her chart. He did not review the plan with her. All he did was talk about the weather. The receptionist told us that we had more tests to do, not the doctor. I was then told that I would have to call the assistant when she comes back from vacation to clarify the plan. We waited several weeks for this appointment and got absolutely nothing. One would expect Hopkins to be better than this. I plan on finding another GI doctor away from Hopkins

One Star is far too much to rate the atrocious experience I had with this provider. I moved to MD and needed an experienced doctor to review my past medical history and compare it to my current medical condition which is suspected to be throat cancer. I had a video visit scheduled for today to establish myself with the practice. I was to be in the patient waiting room at 13:15 (01:15pm), my appointment was at 13:30 (01:30pm). I ended the call at 14:10 (02:10pm) because the provider never entered the video visit. I assumed they were busy and would call me when they were ready to see me, since all my other doctors seem to do this. I finally called the office at 14:32 (02:32pm) and told them I was waiting. I finally got a call from Dr. Mullin's office and they advised me he assumed I was a no show and didn't even bother to communicate to his staff. after several back and forth phone calls they advised me to get onto a computer and he would see me right away. My home is very loud so I traveled to get to a quiet place where I only had my phone to access the video chat, they advised me that my phone wouldn't work so I said it would take me about 5 minutes to get home and log into my computer. Once I got home I waited in the waiting room until about 16:37 (04:37pm) when I finally called and spoke to the same lady whom was helping me with all of this, She was trying to get a hold of Dr.Mullin. I chose to disconnect the video chat and decided if Dr.Mullin is this terrible at communication then he can't provide me with the best care and will be searching for a new doctor. I was referred to Dr Mullin for some stomach issues. He has not been very helpful or responsive in my care. During appointments, he barely speaks and basically shrugs off my symptoms. His office assistant, while pleasant, does not follow through with what she says she is going to do. I have been waiting for three weeks to get a test properly ordered. I feel as though he don't care for the less severe cases.

He was arrogant and did not look at you when he was talking to you. He was more interested in the computer. Just not patient friendly.

Dr. Mullin is a brilliant doctor with a very animated and charming personally. I was having tremendously painful abdominal pain and reflux (basically out of nowhere). Frequently with reflux issues, patients have to do a 24hour pH reflux test which involves inserting a tube in your nose and having to walk around like that for 24 hours... But luckily, Dr. Mullin is one of the only GI providers that does the non embarrassing BRAVO test aka Wireless pH testing, so I got to avoid having a catheter stuck up my nose lol. Yay!! Long story short, had bacterial infection in my stomach and he figured it out. Completely fixed up now. great DOCTOR!

I was referred to doctor Mullin,by my PC he scheduled me for numerous tests, he scheduled me for breath test , a Colonoscopy and a endoscopic multiple stool samples. He barely spoke to me after my Procedure but said i had inflammation In my stomach, no explanation. Sent a prescription for multiple medications,and tetracycline to take 4x a day 500 mg for 18 days. I tried to reach him. He sent message in my chart from his nurse, said This was the only medication that works, no conversation

I was referred to Dr. Mullin by my Pc physician for severe abdominal pain. He sent me for numerous tests and his nurse said I had sibo. I had to insist on seeing him again. I was feeling worse after doing his lowfab diet and losing a total of 50 lbs, telling him about bouts of swelling mass and severe pain, nothing. Could never talk to him, only his nurse. Went back to PC physician . Diagnosis abdominal Hernia. Surgery, doing much better. No more contact fromDr. Mullins office.

Mullin diagnosed SIBO, but I had continuing symptoms which he couldn't explain. Instead of referring me to another specialty, he decided that anxiety was the cause of my issues & convinced my PCP of that. I continued to pursue a diagnosis & was diagnosed w/ Med Arcuate Ligament Synd. after 2 yrs of illness & a 35lb weight loss. Required major surgery. Dr Mullin refused to answer any of my messages though never formally discharged me from care. Continued to blame anxiety even after my surgery.
