The worst! Still seeing patients  in person during the coronavirus pandemic! Refuses to learn how to video conference or just doesn't  care! The police need to shut this place down. He is Jeopardizing the health and safe of his patients!

Mom suffered stroke in frontal lobe which impacted her ability to think and reason and as a result of stroke, a medication she was taking , oxybutinen, started causing hallucinations and she saw bugs on the floor and walls. One night while at the hospital she got dressed packed up her things and walked away from the hospital to go home.The staff realized and brought her back. Our family realized she may be having an allergic reaction to oxybutinen and had it stopped and hallucinations went away within hours. The next day Dr Shiener came in with his residents and arrogance in tow and spoke to mom and our family in a condescending manner and insisted we have mom committed. Yes we realize her walking away from hospital was not safe or logical, but again days earlier she suffered a stroke and was hallucinating from oxybutinen. Had he have taken the time to review her charts prior, he would have known this. He is inept and should not have privileges at any hospital. Someone who has had a stroke should not be commited to a psyche ward.He never should have been on TV. I would never refer him to anyone. His lack of competence is stupefying. The fact that he is still a practicing physician is egregious. Went to see him and felt like I was on trial. Even though I couldn’t stop crying there was no empathy or compassion. He does what the company wants him to do. He asked me how I would feel if I had to go back to work tomorrow I told him I would probably lose my job. I couldn’t concentrate etc. well guess what- he stated I was fine to return the next day.

Can't pick no stars.... he needs a mental evaluation himself. He is a liar and confuses you with othe patients . He will say what the isurance companies want, he is incompetent! There is no one to greet you in the weird uncomfortable so called waiting room, but a note on the door saying do not ring bell with a camera!

Awful. Just awful. Time to retire old man. Wish I could give 0 stars. Don’t use him. He’s senile, forgot my name twice, and blamed it on me.

Dr. Shiener has been my doctor since a severe Auto Accident I experienced in 09. He really has helped me and with my recovery. I would absolutely recommend him. Great Doctor.

I had to go in for an evaluation and it felt like I was on trial and being cross examined. I would not recommend Dr. Shiener.
