Dr Miley treated me over the weekend and provided thorough care along with a great bedside manner. He explained my options and answered all of my questions. Be sure to ask for him. He is outstanding!!!

Dr. Miley has been my Rheumatologist for years and he has kept me going! I have had JRA for over 50 years and I have been treated at NEBH by Dr. Potter and Dr. Miley. Dr. Miley has always been able to prescribe the best treatments for my JRA, which has allowed me to stay active, even when I have taxed his arsenal of cutting edge medications. I have been able to work until I retired at 70 and I still walk daily but I have stopped mountain biking. Was very helpful and determined to get to the bottom of my strange presentation and severe pain presentation

I credit Dr. Miley's approach to medicine and skill in interpreting the data, with my current state of wellness. I have struggled to get to this point and Dr. Miley has been by my side, working all the angles of my care, for the last 5 years. Together we have tried multiple different medications and different approaches to treating my condition. Without getting into too much detail - he has prescribed medications, facilitated surgeries, provided post-surgical care for my condition, and has also facilitated less traditional routes including acupuncture, PT and cognitive behavior modification therapy. This whole-person approach is what has taken me from being at the point where long-term disability was becoming a strong liklihood, to where I am now, which is - in remission and loving life again! Dr. Miley takes a data driven approach to medicine, and I for one consider myself lucky to be in his care.

I have had chronic pain for about 5 years. I've been to many specialists, had multiple tests, scans, MRIs, biopsies, and a variety of treatments. Dr. Miley is the first doctor whose treatment has made a positive difference. Also, all of his staff that I have had contact with have always been very friendly and professional. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for my appointment. My overall experience has been excellent.

Covering for my Dr. but won’t call me (or ask someone to call me) to give me my lab test results. When I called the second time I was read a note off of the computer that said he had ‘told her....’ with today’s date but I never spoke to him! I normally wouldn’t be so anxious for results except this is a repeat for a questionable positive staph infection, I don’t feel well and I’m in significant pain. Great doctor ????

I sought help and medical advice from Dr. Miley on the chronic, debilitating arthritis I've battled for the last 20 years as a former endurance athlete. Instead of offering helpful advice he spent most of the visit pushing an SSRI drug on me - to be used off-label for chronic pain. His callous manner was shockingly rude and condescending - at one point he openly mocked me for being disabled by the severe arthritis. Very bad experience - I will not return to Baptist for any reason.

Joyce and I would like to express with our deepest gratitude for the guidance and care provided by Dr. Miley in bringing a conclusion to our eleven month ordeal. Prior to meeting with Dr. Miley, I had endured three operations and a week long hospitalization for a foot injury and infection. With no satisfactory results I sought a second opinion. I received a personal recommendation to Dr. Miley. He assessed my situation and immediately put into motion the care I required. Thank you!

Dr. Miley has been treating me for a very serious staff infection that struck me at the end of January, this year. The infection targeted my artificial knee that I had implanted several years ago. It was necessary to remove the entire implant to treat the infection. Dr. Miley has been monitoring my progress all these months, giving me words of encouragement to be patient, saying that it takes a long time for my body to recover. He was right. I am good now. He did a great job for me.

Dr. Miley is an exceptional rhuematologist; he is thorough in his assessment practice and treatment. When I came to Dr. Miley I had seen at least three highly recommended rhuematologists who were unable to handle my complicated case. Dr. Miley saw me as a person and not just a number on a test, he began an assessment process that involved seeking deeper levels of data to determine a diagnosis and then a treatment plan that he continually oversees and revises as needed. I highly recommend him!

Worst rudest doctor I have ever met. I took my mother to see him he was horribly cruel and rude. The baptist is a declining hospital if they keep him on staff. He is abusive a pervert and basically should lose his license . I am seeking legal assistance to take action against this so called doctor

This doctor is one of the worse I have ever encountered. Just ask the staff. I am sorry I met him. He is an embarrassment to NEBH.
