I don't know if you can get no stars, but if that is possible that's what I would do. I saw her 45 years ago, when I was 14/15 years old and was diagnosed with a condition called Turners Syndrome. I wasn't even told what the name of my condition was, and didn't find out until five years later from another doctors office. She was cold and very uncompassionate. I just turned 60 and I think I'm still suffering psychological consequences from the way she treated me. Being a teenager is a difficult time but when you going through a situation such as this, it would have been nice to have had a doctor that gave you some explanation of what was going on and showed some understanding. I wasn't told what any of the physical ramifications could be of this disorder, and it wasn't until I was in my early 30s and found out about the Turner Syndrome Society of the U.S. that I really found out helpful information. If there was a '0' star rating I'd give her that. She diagnosed me with Turner Syndrome when I was 14. However, she did not tell me what I had (I discovered it at another dr's office my mistake when I was 19 - imagine what a shock that was! ) She treated the whole situation very coldly, when I could have used some compassion and understanding. She totally lacked that.

Still waiting for that cure that you said would happen by the time I turn twenty. Well, you we're wrong. I just turned 42 and am still waiting. Thanks for that among a multitude of other factors that makes me feel like you are the worst doctor for this child. I was hoping you treated others a bit better than I but see now that I was not alone. You made me feel like it was my fault that I'm diabetic and didnt realize that your attitude was absolutely awful and detrimental. No wonder I panicked every visit. Unfortunately no one realized that it was because you made me feel terrible about every high blood sugar I had. Best wishes for your current patients. I hope you haven't promised cures when you know it is never going to happen. False hope screws with people's heads. I don't know if I can get over your treatment of me. But I sure hope so. In case you missed it on Vitals Wow, it's been over thirty years and I found you. You are the WORST doctor I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. You may not remember me but I hope you do. Do you remember telling me to "shut up, it doesn't hurt!!" after you jammed a needle into my arm? Do you remember telling me "cryers don't get a candy!" How about this? Do you remember your tests diagnosing my issue and you withholding that information for YEARS until we went to another doctor whom you then told??? I hope you do. I wish I had been strong enough as a child to report you for that. You should be ashamed for what you have done and I pray you haven't done it to others!!! Dr. Klingensmith is the endocrinologist that diagnosed me with diabetes back in 1979 I was 15 months old. I'm now 38 years old and as healthy as can be. She and her staff always tried to make me as comfortable as possible even at a very young age. There knowledge is enormous. I could ask any questions and they always had or would find the answer for me. If I still lived in Colorado I would still be seeing the adult paractice that is partnered with her.
