Similar to another review I went in with reactions/hives/trouble breathing to foods and other mystery things. The Dr. gave attitude, put me down and told me it was idiopathic hives which have no solution and it's pointless testing. If I'm asking for the testing, what does it hurt for him to do it. Fast forward to now, my PCP referred me to another allergist and also prescribed me an EpiPen. The start of my daughters visit caught me a little off guard with this provider. He was extremely condescending and refused to listen to the answers to his questions. My daughter has has severe allergies and eczema since she was 2 weeks old, he did not care. He refused to provide the medically necessary tests required by not only my daughters school, but also every other provider my daughter sees. I wanted to find a location closer to home, but the audacity of this provider was unbelievable. He insulted my parenting and every clinician who treated my daughter in her life. I took a look at the visit summary he wrote up, he stated we were there for wheezing? I informed the nurses and this provider my daughter does not have asthma, yet he still provided a non medically necessary test, PFT. He stated if a person does not have anaphylactic shock, they do not have a food allergy. My daughter was diagnosed at 2 weeks old due to severe vomiting and rash from her milk. I wrote to BORIM.

I went in because I thought I had Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Dr. Vaida acted like that was a crazy idea and even got angry about the whole thing. He did not run a single test on me and sent me away diagnosed with idiopathic hives. I had had severe hives and swelling of the face lips head everywhere for. Two months. My PCP had me on several allergy meds 4 x a day, double the recommended dose and prednisone with no relief. Sent me to this "Doctor" who told me to take exactly what I had been taking for two months because , and I quote, he had no proof. So I said how can I prove it, they are over the counter meds. He basically called me a liar. Did nothing. Do not go to this man he is horrible. The good reviews you see are made up I am certain. He will be dismissive and has ZERO regard for people who are suffering. I am lodging s formal complaint with sturdy hospital.

Go there weekly for my allergy shots. Very friendly staff. My first time there I couldn't find the entrance. I thought it was the building in the front. The reason I give 4 stars is because even though they have disability parking and an entrance to the side for wheelchairs.. You can't go into the actual allergy department with a wheelchair. After telling Dr. Vaida I didn't have a lot of money and also told him what I was allergic to, I had to do all the allergy tests anyway. He told me I had asthma (I don't) and prescribed 5 different medications. The bill was well over 700.00 dollars. I couldn't pay all at once so I began making payment. I received a past due threat and told delinquent accounts will be referred to collections. I will be making a formal complaint!

Great doctor. Didn't have to wait more than a couple minutes to be seen. Very knowledgable and experienced. He identified what I was allergic to and helped me treat my asthma.

Horrible experience. Zero social skills. Complete waste of time.

This is honestly the worst and most unknowledgeable doctor I ever encountered. I told him that my throat was still very tight and I still had serious trouble breathing from my food reaction-he told me to see a Gastroneurolog. & nor did he help me. My nurse that I see for medication, she is not an allergist or doctor-she healed, cured and helped me in a matter of days after suffering for a whole month. She said my histamine levels were very high and I needed to block histamine-he lacked concern

While the nurses and other office staff were fantastic, Dr. Vaida was less than helpful and lacked sympathy during my appointment to find out what my daughter is allergic to. I felt like he dismissed my concerns and I felt very disheartened after our appointment.

Very personable, extremely nice! His staff is great; always so welcoming and informative. I currently go to the office for weekly shots, and have met with Dr. Vaida twice. I would highly recommend him.
