Dr Theodore and PA Kayla were outstanding after my Jones Fracture surgery in January cause i was afraid that i would never walk again and now after surgery i am stronger then ever thanks to Dr Theodore and PA Kayla doing such great work on me.

Can’t say enough positives about Dr. Theodore and his PA Kayla. I had a fall in August and they saw me quickly and came up with a surgical plan. They were both exceptional with care and follow ups. Cannot recommend enough!

Dr.Theodore is an amazing surgeon. He is very knowledgeable, professional and prioritize on patients needs when finding the right solution. Most caring highly skilled Doctor ive ever scene. I have complete trust in him.

Dr Theodore and his PA Kayla were thorough, attentive,, down to earth and caring. They both took their time to explain things in a way that made sense. I appreciated their conservative approach to recovery. Would highly recommend for foot injuries. I really can't say enough about my experience with him and his staff. I tore my Achilles and had seen another doctor before meeting Dr. Theodore. The previous doctor walked in squeezed my leg and said yup torn surgery in 2 weeks with no MRI. Then he left the room. I met with Dr. Theodore the next day and he spent 45 minutes reviewing everything with me explaining what I had done, what was going to happen next, that he was the surgeon, and what my future was going to be like. He is EXTREMELY knowledgeable I was so relieved after speaking with him he made this whole process the best it could have been, I am so thankful and lucky to have had him. Dr Theodore is the best foot specialist in the world . He did a remarkable job with my ankle , he cares about his patients. He got me in as soon as possible to repair my torn ligaments in my ankle during the covid pandemic. Phenomenal staff as well, very polite and professional.

Dr. Theodore and his PA Kayla McKinnon have me walking pain free and I couldn’t be happier! I met them several years ago when I developed pain in both first metatarsal joints. Surgery was indicated when steroid injections gave me no relief. I went into each surgery feeling informed, optimistic, and confident that they would do everything they could to ensure I had the best possible outcome. They prepared me well, explaining the surgery and recovery, setting realistic goals and expectations. They were accessible by phone for any questions and spent time at appointments making sure I was doing okay. Clancy, their Administrative Assistant (a very important member of the team) is fantastic! Emails, phone calls, appointments, paper work, she does it all! I feel lucky to have had this team take care of me! Thank you all!

Outstanding physician. Superb skills and bedside manner. He is a doctor's doctor. He was able to properly diagnose and successfully repair a very complex ankle injury.

i have seen Dr Theodore for multiple years and many problems. He is caring, and has a great bedside manner. I would highly recommend Dr Theodore to anyone with foot problems. He is a master of his craft!

Dr Theodore did a bunionectomy and osteotomy to both my feet, he is a perfectionist! I had two wonderful experiences with little to no pain and great recoveries.. I’ve suffered with flat feet my entire life, my earth and quality of life was in poor condition until I decided to see Doctor Theodore. The more I discussed my surgical options with him the more confident I became about the surgery. I have had extensive surgery on my right foot and ankle tendon surgery on my right and everything he discussed with me went as planned from planning for surgery and in recovery. The medical staff and assistant Kayla are very professional. I found myself to be very relaxed the day of the surgery because I felt very confident I was in very good hands. The morning of the surgery Dr Theodore was there with me to go through the procedure until the time I was in recovery. I really cannot thank them enough, I know it’s their job and it’s what they do but hey went above and beyond. He saved both my legs. I suffered compartment syndrome. Couldnt walk 2 miles without the legs acting up. A year after dr. Theodores treatment? I am just about to start running. Thank you doctor Theodore and team at mass gen!

Amazing surgeon!!!!!

Dr Theodore performed complex ankle surgery involving a tendon transfer and the repair of 2 ruptured tendons. He is a highly skilled surgeon and my outcome has been very positive. He was detailed and clear about what would be involved in the surgery and the recovery process. I found he and his staff to be very thorough and responsive to patient questions/concerns. If you want a clear diagnosis and a surgeon who can handle difficult procedures, Dr. Theodore is the professional for you. Truly amazing. Great doctor and surgeon!!!!

In late 2006 Dr Theodore performed an open reduction of a trimaleolar fracture of my wife's left ankle. Today at age 70, she walks, holds and is full functioning without pain or the slightest suggestion of impairment. This is without question the result of the medical brilliance and gifted hands of this skilled physician.

Dr. Theodore is a good doctor, but really bad bed side manner. I gave him 5 stars since it asks about recommending him. I had complicated ankle surgery and he did a great job

Dr. T. is amazing - he is very knowledgeable and compassionate. I do not think you could have a better doctor for his specialty. He is conservative and helps his patients find the most effective while least invasive answer for their situation. A great primary care once told me - "If you ever need to go under the knife - make sure you have a surgeon that cares about his/her patient" Dr. T. is such a surgeon. His immediate staff - such as Kayla his PA are super too.

Dr. Theodore is definitely one of the best orthopedic surgeons out there. If you are in the Boston area, go the extra mile to book an appointment. I had ACL reconstruction surgery done earlier this month and am absolutely 1000% satisfied with my procedure. I believe Dr. Theodore goes the extra mile to listen and dedicates all his efforts to each patient. The day of surgery, Dr. Theodore came to speak with me at 6AM - I was told by the anesthesiologist most doctors do not show that early to prep.

Dr. Theodore is the best of the best. Noone can beat his diagnosis and outcomes as the celebs and athletes can attest.

Went to see for second opinion and am very glad I did. Reasons for needing surgery were very sound. Healing is progressing very well.

Dr. Theodore revised my reconstructed ACL October 3rd. The visits are on time and the staff are professional and efficient. Dr. Theodore explained preop, postop procedures and answered any questions. The surgery went better than I expected and the results are better than the reconstruction (done by someone else ). He is a very skilled surgeon that is passionate about what he does, cares about his patients and their outcome. Dr. Theodore is a 1st class doctor and MGH is 1st class hospital.

Saw Dr Theodore in 2010 for a torn tendon in my ankle. Surgery ensued and all turned out great. I love this guy. He's patient, thorough, and listens. He never makes you feel like he has to get your visit over quickly, always makes you feel like you are his most important patient of the day. Now I'm back to see him again for a possible torn meniscus. I'm so glad I have a relationship with Dr Theodore and that I have the utmost confidence in him.

I had been seeing Dr. T. For my ankle. He explained things well and thoroughly. I had a follow up appointment. The weekend before appointment a knife fell and cut my leg. I went to a nearby hospital 3 times because it wouldn't stop bleeding, they & said it was fine. When I went to Dr T on Monday for my scheduled appt. for my ankle he asked about the bandage & if he could take a look. Long story short, I was operated on two days later because my tendon was 98% torn and ready to snap!
