I went to see Dr. Slade for a disability claim. Dr. Slade was warm and thorough. I was quite pleased with his review.
This man does medical exams for SSI & SSDI disability claims and my advice to you is BEWARE! This man is "less than truthful" and that is my opinion based on my experience. If I could do it over again, I would have taken a LAWYER into the exam with me..not even joking folks. Would you want to see "NO JOINT ABNORMALITIES FOUND" in your report from him on your way into your hearing?? That is what I saw...and mind you NO X-RAY was ever taken, sooo he bases this on what? My claim was denied months ago and my pain is so bad now, I don't even leave the house more than once or twice a month. His report is not the only reason it was denied, but for your claim, it might be. Also, he referred to bedside spirometry as "pulmonary function testing" and if you have asthma then you know the difference. He said I had no problem with asthma. What a joke, the day I got my denial, I just got discharged from 12 days in CRMC for asthma & respiratory fail. Print & show to you'r lawyer ASAP!
