Dr. George Bernard Hall

My wife and I had somewhat of a dental emergency due to lingering pain from our 13 year old’s wisdom teeth extraction 5 weeks earlier. Rather than go back to the practice where the procedure took place we decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Hall’s dental practice in Augusta. Grace, the office manager, was great about getting her in on short notice and Dr. Hall was amazing. He took time to thoroughly examine her mouth, took x-rays and determined no further action was necessary and that it just needed more time to heal. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Dr. Hall and his whole staff are the sweetest people. They treat you like family when you are there. Dr. Hall explains everything to you if need a procedure done. Will also call you after hours if he did any dental work and check on you.

Everyone in the office was extremely polite and helpful. My hygienist Carter was both thorough and gentle with my cleaning so I didn't leave my appointment with sore gums like I have from past dental visits. Dr. Hall is knowledgeable and friendly. Your teeth will be in good hands if you come here!

Dr. Hall and his staff are the best.when you need a dentist that can do it all he's the man. :)

I admit he have a very personal touch and I felt more comfortable with him than my previous dentist ... I almost felt like this was going to be my family's dentist. It wasn't until he pulled his mask down picked his nose left the room and came back. I politely ask him to wash his hands .. He reminded me that he did initially when the visit first started. I reminded him of him picking his nose and leaving the exam room he suggested sedition.... Bc of my discomfort.. ... ???? Just be mindful ... Over all he's kind... But with covid and other viral infections you cant be too careful. Dr. Hall did not display any understanding or interest in building doctor/patient rapport. I refused to have my wisdom teeth removed during my visit. I originally came in for a routine cleaning. It was obvious that he was frustrated with my response, because his tone was condescending. He reminded me of his credentials and his experience. As an educator, I am fully aware that he has credentials to practice dentistry. Any and every professional in a career is expected to fulfill testing and training criteria. At the end, we agreed on a temporary filling. Dr. Hall could have improved this experience, if he was actively listening. I mentioned several times that I was going on vacation. Now having had my wisdom teeth removed and visiting a new practice, I know that Dr. Hall’s practice is seriously lacking skills to interact with patients. I am a type of person that works around a schedule. My vacation was already planned, as I am sure many of us schedule vacations and book flights in advance. Also, I have a family to consider when thinking about recovery time. Again going in for a cleaning appointment, I did not anticipate surgery the same day. I began feeling pain a few days before the exam and expressed this to him. I thought it was best to tell the dentist, who I thought was qualified and had my best interests in mind. Although he felt the need to reiterate his qualifications that I was already aware of, he lacks important social skills to effectively interact with patients. From the first time I entered this office... there was a peace and personal touch to it from check to checkout. Dr Hall is knowledgeable, compassionate and one never feels that your care is not of utmost importance to each person that you encounter.. highly recommend!

No one likes going to the dentist. I had put it off so many years because I knew I needed quite a bit of work done. My prior dentist did a crown and it kept popping off, which was causing a lot of back and forth missing work and delaying other repairs I needed. After the 3rd time he wanted to do an implant. I have hemophilia, doing an implant is a huge deal. I found DR Hall and decided to get a 2nd opinion. He was so friendly, informative and just kind of cutting it up with his friendly hygiental assistant. As we talked i found out he has done implants on patients with hemophilia before, which was very relieving. He felt he could fix the crown and save me from dealing with an implant. I decided to move forward with Dr Hall and so glad I did. He was able to save the little that was left of the tooth and then also got so much more done in the same visit. Able to get 3 crowns and multiple fillings done in about a 2.5 hour window, saving me from missing even more work than im already going to have too. He was very informative and friendly the entire time. Then that evening he called to check on me because he said that I had so much work done in that visit, he wanted to see how I was feeling later that evening. Absolutely the best dentist I have ever had! Knowledgeable, easy going and a sense of humor. When I needed a few implants Dr. Hall explained the process and I now have a beautiful smile thanks to him. The staff is spot on and put you at ease the minute you walk in the door. I came to Dr. Hall with an inflamed tooth and severe pain. He was the nicest person I think I've ever met. Dr. Hall performed a root canal successfully and painlessly. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Hall is a caring and involved Doctor. He is professional, knowledgable, highly educated in all fields of dentistry and dental prothstetics, and very talented. He is committed to his patients and their needs while making sure we are educated to make informed decisions about our treatment. After your consultation, Miss Grace makes sure you have a treatment plan in place. They are very clear about pricing and very VERY affordable for the amazing work that they do. I was very impressed with everyone's willingness to help you get the most attractive and healthiest smile possible!
