Dr. George F Cravens

21 years ago I was in a truck accident that broke me neck in several places. Dr Cravens was the Dr when I was care flighted to Ft Worth. If I remember it correctly, 3 days later he did an 11 hour surgery that gave me the use of everything. I was 44 then, 65 now. So far I have no issues. He told me the operation I needed would most likely leave me a quadriplegic as it never worked but it was the only way to put my neck back in place. Well, it worked. The only thing I don’t do is ride my horse, that’s my choice. But I take care of all the other livestock as I always have.

If this the right one he told me he would not preform surgery on my because of my size . So I am to fat to get relief in my neck. He also told me when I get migraine headaches to go take a walk. So basically in his mind I am to fat to get any help his words not mine. I pray for you sir because God does not like ugly people.

Dr Cravens did my initial surgery anterior cervical disc fusion 12 years ago. Recently found out my hardware broke in my neck. The neurosurgeon that I was referred to by my neurologist found it by X-Ray and was quick to want to do surgery. Stated he would have to go through the front and the back of my neck. Went back to Dr Cravens and he relieved my anxiety and wants to do bone scan (which no one has ever done) then look over EMG results and make a plan. Very kind, caring and informative.

I had a head injury and went to JPS for my surgery. I then came to CND for my follow ups. Dr Cravens has been kind and compassionate with me. He has taken time to thourghly explain to me what happened during surgery and any symptoms that I have been experiencing. His staff is awesome and thank you!

I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, luckily I was referred to Dr Cravens by my pcp. After my brain surgery I found out that it was not cancer. He was able to remove the tumor and so far I don't have any issues.

Dr. Cravens new office is right in the heart of downtown Fort Worth in the historic Flatiron building. There was valet parking, which made getting in and out easy. Dr. Cravens has over 25 years of experience, and he really knew what he was talking about. He was a pretty nice guy and very open to explaining my questions. He has a non-invasive approach, which is refreshing when most neuro/spine guys are quick to suggest surgery. The office staff, PA, and CST that i met were all really nice.
