Very good doctor. I highly recommend.

So grateful that we met Dr. Chiampas in the ER at NMH. My fiancee received some very scary medical news earlier in the week and was dealing with complications that brought us back in. Dr. Chiampas was kind, patient, and compassionate. It is frankly not something you would normally expect from an ER doctor and the impact it had on us was profound as we deal with this difficult situation. Thank you, Dr. Chiampas. This doctor is a rip off! I went to the emergency room because I was having very severe back pain. I'm one of those people that does a lot of research before I go to the doctor. All information pointed to it being sciatica. I get there and inform the doctor of such and he says it's just a muscle spasm. He writes me a prescription for pain. Low and behold the meds aren't working at home and I am back in a couple more days. He still insists that it's a muscle spasm and tells me to give a new medicine 5-7 days to work. I call off work and stay in bed still in excruciating pain. After the recommended time off and no improvement, I go to another hospital for them to tell me within minutes of being there that it is in fact my sciatica! After giving me meds that actually helped and recommending me to a chiropractor and doing the necessary rehab, I am much better $1000+ in debt from this doctor with no help. Thanks for nothing!
