Ever since my hip replacement I have had pain, after 11 years Doctor Sandman thinks it's coming from the back. Back doctor believes it's not, guess I will have to live with this for the rest of my life just hope if I live a good age I will be able to walk. ????

Dr. Sandman and his team provided exceptional, first class care. Provided a seamless experience from referral, surgery, through discharge. Dr. Sandman is easy to talk to and explained pre op; surgical proceedure; and post op care well. I've seen him for both hip replacements and a fractured wrist and highly recommend him and his remarkable team.

I had a constant regarding my art knee replacement. He was very kind & answered all my questions. While I’m waiting for my replacement, he gave me cortisone injections in both knees. I left feeling confident of my choice of doctors.

Follow up after hip replacement surgery. Office very comfortable, staff friendly & helpful. Dr. Sandman takes his time, open to question/concerns, very encouraging.

Very informative, professional, and efficient.

Dr. Sandman gave me a detailed report of my knee and we are hoping that the injection into my knees can give me some relief. He explained everything so I could understand.

A soft spoken gentleman who listens and helps you. Also a brilliant surgeon who put me back together after a devastating injury. I am forever grateful.

For my first visit I was truly pleased with everyone that I spoke to there hoping to have more enjoyable experiences when I have to return

As a top level division one athlete, Dr. Sandman fixed my ankle with no problem and it has not given me an issue to this day with many many rugby matches later. He has fixed my brother who is also a top level athlete as well.

I was very pleased with my visit as the Dr as well as the nurses were very pleasant and thorough with explaining things. They also set up an apt to a back specialist which I have been trying to get into for several weeks.

Dr Sandman performed knee joint replacement surgery on both of my knees this year: one in May, and the other in September. I am extremely pleased with the results, and I highly recommend Dr Sandman for always taking time to listen to any concerns and to explain things thoroughly.

Dr. Sandman was my second opinion. When I got to Dr. Sandman’s office, it was a night and day difference. He was very calm, reassuring, and answered all of my questions very thoroughly. When he walked into the room with my x-rays he said my hips were so bad that he could not even determine my age, just by looking at the x-rays. That’s how far gone both sides were. He even said I could spend the night if I didn’t feel comfortable with an outpatient procedure. This put me at ease. My left hip was replaced within an hour of surgery. I asked Dr. Sandman how the surgery went, and him being a very confident surgeon he said there’s no issues and he does not anticipate any issues with my hips in the future. His staff was also very helpful. I called his nurse multiple times with clarifying questions and she called back every time with answers. The PA Christina also was very nice and helped answered my questions. She did a great job administering my shots. I am very happy with my left hip replacement 6 months later and Dr. Sandman is replacing my right hip soon. Dr. Sandman was my second opinion. I had a left total knee replacement done on August 30 of 2021. At 6 weeks post op I am doing great. My surgery was outpatient and I was home mid afternoon. I was prepared for what to expect and had all the necessary supplies for my recovery. Follow up with the office has been great. Highly recommend Dr. Sandman and his staff.

First ti.e visiting him and he was will informed about my out of state accident from my disk and records that was sent to him.

Very friendly and professional doctor .

Dr. Sandman is amazing! He fixed up my broken leg 5 years ago and have had zero issues. I am going to get a hip replacement in the future and am so glad that he is available to do that procedure. I sure hope he stays around the community for many years to come!

He is a very skilled Dr. He listens, than very respectfully, works to help you understand your problem and options. I have complete trust in his solutions and work. Many times he was there caring as I faced many problems, emotionally, mentally and physically. He is there for you to see you get to a healthier you. He is very skilled in what he does. He is very patient and empathetic. I believe I could not have made it to walking again after my head on car accident that crushed and shattered my legs if it weren’t for him. You have to have trust in your Dr so you can work on your mental and emotional challenges that some of our injuries leave you with. And let’s remember to prayer and support our medical teams because they too could Benefit from kindness and patience from us especially as they deal with COVID-19 demands along with everything else. I highly recommend Dr Geffory Sandman! He is a blessing to me in all my challenges I endure.

Very informative and explained everything in detail. Very friendly and professional.

Dr Sandman sent me to physical therapy with a shoulder that was broken in three places. I complained that my shoulder was getting worse. He left the room and came back staring and silent. I left the office, got a second opinion and had to have major surgery, because the new Doctor couldn't fix it through arthroscopic surgery. Wouldn't recommend.

I was referred to Dr. Sandman and I can say in our first meeting, he’s very professional, very knowledgeable, and a doctor who cares. He takes the time to listen and the steps to figure out what the problem is. He’s an Orthopedic doctor that I wouldn’t mind referring to someone.

Dr. Sandman replaced my left knee in April. I feel so much better. I continue to do my physical therapy exercises at home and am improving day by day. Great doctor and staff!

My hip replacement was a wonderful experience. I followed all the instructions I was given both before and after surgery. It really pays to follow the instructions. Do not do the the things they tell you not to do, you will heal faster and safer. At 6 weeks post surgery I have no pain and can walk without a cane. Without any reservations, I would recommend Doctor Sandman. During my last visit on 5/11/21 he spent a great deal of time going over my X-rays. His bedside manner was like no other doctor I have dealt with over the last years. I do not think you could find another specialist like him in West Michigan. I would put my life in his care, and I would recommend anyone else to do the same.

My wait was 15 min. and I probably waited for Dr. Sandman in the office 5 min. Then I had to wait for his nurse to give me a copy of my next appt. 9/ 2020. The medical assistant, Rafael ( spelling?) Introduced.himself and.was very pleasant.

I go to the location on West River Drive in Comstock Park Mi. My therapist is Zack and he is the best ever!!! I have a long story but the short version is that I was in a head on car accident. My legs were crushed and shattered. I even had a detached foot. While I faced many surgeries so was my husband. This was true Trama. I never angered towards God he was there holding my heart through it all. Dr. Geoffrey Sandman held my hand through it all. He never wavered on where to focus first. Don’t miss take his shyness for lac of concern. He is so intelligent, gifted through Gods blessings, confident, and always takes time with your questions until you understand. When I often became weary with to much at once I rested in his confidence and goal oriented talents and strength. Dr. Sandman and his staff were great from start to finish. Even though I didn't love the shot in my hip, I already feel better after one day. Thankful they were able to help me with my pain. I am very appreciative.

Dr. Sandman is an excellent surgeon. So much so, that I am returning to him for a second surgery. He is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and made sure to answer all of my questions. I did not feel that he was trying to rush his time with me.

Had an appointment for a cortisone shots in my knee. Dr Sandman took the time to answer all my questions and was genuinely interested and concerned about me . He also preformed a major surgical procedure on my leg in 2014 . I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else .

I was taken by ambulance to Saint Mary's ER after a fall from a ladder. My right ankle was severely injured along with a broken arm and tailbone. Doctor Sandman preformed the surgery to rebuild my ankle and stabilize the broken arm. He did a fantastic job with the surgery and follow up. I would highly recommend him.

Left hip replacement surgery went well. Subsequent 12 days have seen significant healing. Beginning to use a cane.
