Dr. Geetha Subramanyam

This provider has retired, giving patients as little as two weeks notice. My parents had an appointment for January 28, and received a letter stating she had retired on January 19. Now looking for a replacement.

In one visit alone, two referrals were incorrect or missing due to obvious administrative lapses. One referral was made to an out of market facility (when an acceptable procider existed next door) and the second referral did not accept their non-standard referral form. Apparently, it is too much to ask for simple, caring service that prevents the customer from receiving life-essential health care. It also appears that the patient is NOT important to the doctor or staff and is disappointing.

VERY few psychiatrists take in so much patient history as does dear Dr. Geetha. She is a medicating shark knowing when/what to reduce.change. Very kind, honorable. We changed only because our son's issues veered away from her specialization. She redirected us to a practitioner who could greater pinpoint his needs.

Very kind, professional caring doctor. His staff makes you comfortable from the time you make an appointment. Messages are always answered the same business day. I have been under this doctor's care for over 3 years I feel confident in his diagnosis and treatmen.

I have been seeing Dr. Geetha for years. I want to day for 20 years. Amazing doctor.

Dr Geetha graduated from medical school in 1979 in India. She has an MBA and was a diplomat, neither of which have anything to do with each other. She is not icensed to prescribe narcotic pain meds that most geriatrics require, she states that is a specialty. If you are in need to actual surgery, with a scalpel and such I would think twice because not only can she not order you morphine, but she doesn't have surgical rights in any hospitals. She no longer knows what non narcotics are vs narcotic
