Dr. Gautham P Reddy

I have been Dr. Reddy's patient for 14 years, with Parkinson's disease. He is compassionate, very knowledgeable and always takes time with my appointments. I could not find a better neurologist.

I have suffered from migraines for 20 years. I've been bounced from one doctor to the next and every specialist on the planet. No one could figure out why I had them so frequently and so severely. I was referred to Dr. Reddy 2 years ago. Initially I refused but my husband convinced me to at least talk to him once, and Dr. Reddy completely changed my life. I waited over 3 months to see this doctor. When he was assigned, I looked up reviews on him online. He had mixed reviews. Some said he was great. Others did not. The 1 star reviews I read from his prior patients online were not promising. There was a general consensus from them. That they had been treated very poorly. That he was rude to them. He didn't care. He didn't listen to them. He had his mind made up about them before they even walked in. That despite all their displayed symptoms, he claimed there was nothing was wrong with them. It was "all in their head." He thought they were lying. I tried to keep an open mind going into the appointment. I didn't want to judge this doctor harshly before I met him myself. However, after my own personal experience, I can concur that every single poor review about him like this was 100% accurate and then some. I experienced the same treatment of prior patients myself. The way he treated me made me burst into tears twice in his office. He did this in front of my family. I walk out of his office feeling demeaned, degraded, humiliated, & insulted. I guess there is a first time for everything. I hope anyone and everyone else who sees him has a positive experience. I hope that you are not treated the same. People work hard for their money & care about their health. Doctors are supposed to listen, be kind, be attentive, and use their knowledge to help their patients. Love Dr. Reddy! Always listens, very nice and understanding, and is very knowledgeable concerning Multiple Sclerosis. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful. I just wish he were closer. His office is in NE Wichita and I live in the very south part. Oh, well. I can live with it. I'm not giving him up just to get someone closer!
