My daughter had surgery on 12-2-21 to remove a brain tumor that was making her seize. In one year we saw a healthy smart athletic girl, go from advanced classes to having to be home schooled. From the moment we spoke to dr tye we trusted him, the amount of thought and compassion he and his nurse showed was nothing short of amazing. He is truly an angel. He had to do an incision across her head from one ear to the other (which he zigzagged so now you can’t even tell where the scar is) she healed perfectly and was back in school within a month. She has been seizure free since the morning of her surgery and hit a even hit a grand slam 4 months to the day of her surgery. Dr. Tye, Thank you for giving her, her life back. I'm so thankful I found Dr. Tye after years of my son suffering from a lump on the back of his head. Dr. Tye examines his head, and he knew the proper channels to take to discover the diagnosis, Dr. Tye explained everything to me and made surgery less stressful. I would recommend Dr. Tye to anyone. I'm so thankful it's taken care of, and my son don't have to go through the pain of the lump on his head anymore. Thank you so much Dr. Tye !

He is the best pediatric neurosurgeon period. His nurse or right hand Joanne is by far the best nurse anywhere. You could not ask for better people that truly care and are down to earth. Most surgeons especially neuro surgeons have a god complex and dr Tye is the exact opposite he is humble, kind, compassionate and extremely dedicated to every patient he has and even though my daughter who has had 27 neuro surgeries, not all performed by dr tye but most, doesn’t just pass his patients along when they turn 18. He and Joanne has dedicated their lives to saving children and never turned away from the most complex and difficult patients. They are some of the very few people left that truly whole heartedly care and treat your family as they would their own.

I can't say enough about this Dr. He recently placed VP shunt in my granddaughter. He is on top of his game as far as his knowledge as well as his surgeon skills, but more than that he is very compassionate about his job and the families he comes in contact with
