He was rude and abrupt. Very condescending !

Dr. Pichney went well beyond his excellence in Podiatry when I urgently consulted with him at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore MD. Like so many physicians, I was not very inclined or earnest to find a doctor when I needed one for my very broken ankle last June 2020. Doctors do make the worst patients. Dr. Pichney was so thorough in his examination and evaluation of my injury, it became immediately apparent that I was in competent hands and I loved how comfortable he was explaining my options and how to address my problem. He was professional, compassionate and his experience in the field of podiatry was a shining beam of light and hope for me. He was also very available for my concerns and questions I had throughout the entire preoperative and postoperative rehab process. I have known many podiatrists in my career and now send all my podiatry to Dr. Gary Pichney, knowing they are in the best medical care. I was referred to Dr. Gary Pichney from my primary care physician. We went over my x-rays and he kept saying that if this was another Podiatrist they would have done surgery. I went they because of the extreme pain I was having on my side of my foot, which I thought it was a bunion. Dr. Pichney said it wasn't but something is sticking out of the side of my foot cause a lot of pain. I feel as though my concern and my pain was not resolved. I left his office with the same problem I had when I went there. I have pain like a tooth ache throbbing in my foot. I feel like going there was a waste of my time and money. I had to pay my co-pay and also I had to pay an additional $500 to have him scrap off a little bit of dead skin on a corn. Which by the way took him 3 second to do for $500. WOW.

I, (as well as my daughter, and mother), have been a patient of Dr. Pichney's for over 20 years. Each of us has had needed foot surgery, along with other foot conditions. Dr. Pichney is highly skilled, and a trusted physician. Dr. Pichney's strengths lie in his knowledge, skills, compassion, and integrity. He educates, accurately diagnoses, and thoroughly treats each patient. Most importantly, Dr. Pichney cares, listens and values his patients. Dr. Pichney's experience and skills make him an A+ physician. I highly recommend Dr. Pichney.

Dr. Gary Pichney spends adequate time with his patients. His bedside manner is great. He has been extremely helpful. He is a great surgeon, I'd be scared to entrust anyone else but him to work on my feet. His staff is very friendly and helpful.

Do yourself a favor and find another doctor who is more caring, responsive and sensitive to the patience's needs.

Horrible. He spent 5 mins with me and spoke over me when I was insisting what he was doing was extremely painful. He is very careless and rushed the entire appointment. I was left bleeding and in pain. He helped stop the bleeding and handed me a bandaid and left the room with no further advice on my initial visit complaint. Worst experience ever.

Dr Pichney has consistently provided excellent podiatry care and ably attended foot injury as needed

Great experience! Sufficient time spent, very helpful and understanding when things needed to be explained. Gets the job done right the FIRST time! Very pleased! Highly recommend!

I believe that this Doctor is a gift from God . My experience and interaction with him has been amazing, experienced no pain through the procedure that he performed on my toe, absolutely no pain. His staff was also amazing, phenomenal people. Genuinely felt that he cared about my health and I received that same concern from his staff as well. I received an injection in my foot while at the office. The Dr did not ask about what my activities might be that day and my dicharge instructions were something to the effect of -don't try to walk around the malls for hours on end. There was no warning of how painful the injection would be for the next 24hrs. I ended up leaving work early and 14hrs later I was in the E.R. I called to speak with both the office manager & practice manager. Neither ever called me back.

Had foot pain for almost two years. After finally giving in I finally made an appt. Showed up on time and waited maybe 15 min the first visit. I have been there several times and never had to wait longer, and most of the time I show up early so the wait is understood. Dr. Pichney is easy to talk to and he was direct and up front with treatments. Turns out I needed surgery for a neuroma after exhausting the injections. I am one week post op. My experience has been great so far.

This appointment was waste of my time. I have a $50 copay and the dr spent 5 -6 minutes with me. He didnt go over my exrays or take me seriously in any way. Terrible bed side manner.

Dr Pichney gave me new feet literally!! I am so happy with my results. He showed me that he cares and showed a great deal of professionalism.

I would highly recommend Dr. Pichney to anyone for a bunionectomy. I had absolutely no pain post surgery! Just make sure to follow his post-op orders. He is very experienced and patiently answered any questions I asked. My foot is beautiful...no more unsightly joint protrusion!! I can't wait to wear sandals again.

I'm very fond of Dr. Pichney. He has done previous work on my toes. I went to see him two weeks ago & I felt comfortable with his suggestion. I would highly recommend my family & friends. Dr. Pichney has above & beyond excellent customer service. I have known Dr. Pichney for several years. ????

I waited over 2 hours and never saw the Dr. At the 2 hour point, I approached the reception desk, but the receptionist had disappeared as well. I waited another 10 minutes and finally left. I have a job, which is why I scheduled an 8 am appt. I have no interest in dealing with a Dr. who has no respect for my time. aside from being totally inconvenienced,I felt the whole experience was unprofessional...No Thanks
