Gary W Chandler

Dr Chandler is an excellent podiatrist. His bedside manner is incredible. I’m terrified of needles. He was very patient, kind and gentle through the entire process. I’ve had both my big toes operated on to remove ingrown toenails now and can’t thank Dr. Chandler enough.

I just experienced my first visit with Dr. Chandler and I couldn't have been more pleased. I read all the reviews, prayed about it, went with my intuition and had the best experience during a very nervous visit/procedure. Dr. Chandler was not only extremely welcoming but he was very pleasant to speak with. Surgical explanation was very thorough and I just love the fact that I found a Dr that I can joke with when I'm nervous. Sometimes a person needs that. The staff is great as well. Amazing doctor!!! Cares about his patients and explains everything very clearly. Hope I never need foot surgery again but if I do, I’m definitely going to Dr Chandler.

My first visit with Dr. Chandler and my first visit to a podiatrist had me a bit nervous. I wish I had made the appointment sooner. Dr. Chandler and his entire staff were very welcoming. The doctor and his nurse answered each and every question I had. I recommend him to everyone.

Terrible situation on my part, Dr. Chandler fixed me up in no time and I’m recovering well! Staff was pleasant and I hope I don’t ever go back, but I recommend anyone needing a good podiatrist to go here!

I took my son to Dr. Chandler within the last year for some issues with his feet, and he handled it all so well with some great options on how to help him. Dr. Chandler is an amazing Dr. Very knowledgeable. Explains everything to you as you go. I had a fracture and he fixed me up real well. Took my son for an ingrown and it was virtually painless and quick. Healed amazingly. I will be returning to him for any and all foot problems. I recommend. Pricing is affordable. Dr Chandler knows his stuff....explains the situation, involves you in your recovery, willing to try different modalities to work through a situation. Staff was efficient and returns calls with minimal delay.

Dr Chandler knows his stuff! I use to work for a Podiatrist years ago and felt really good about his knowledge of my new diagnosis of diabetes. He gave me several conservative options to treat my neuropathy. Will gladly return for any future needs.

short story: I went to this guy an paid $400 to have my ingrown toenail removed and he told me if in 90 days something goes wrong he’ll fix it for free. After 2 months of following his care instructions my toe still wouldn’t heal and I called back to inform him and they told me I had to pay AGAIN to have it fixed even though it was still well in the 90 day time frame. This Gary W. Chandler, DPM is way over priced and a crook who does not care about your health, he just wants you to keep coming back so he can take as much of your money as he can. It has been months and my toe still will not heal no matter what care instructions I follow. I showed it to another podiatrist, and she said I need to set up and appointment to have it redone because she believes his sloppy work either damaged my nail bed or left a nail fragment that is preventing it from healing. Please don’t risk your foot health on this guy, he’s over priced and the pain I’ve had to endure since he damaged my toe I would not wish on my enemies. I personally am a real patient of Gary W. Chandler, DPM, I’m not sure if these other reviews are real or not because I don’t have high expectations but the dishonest treatment I received from this guy is unacceptable and I don’t want anyone else falling victim to it. I got an ingrown toenail on my left foot and knew I needed to have the partial nail removal surgery done on it because I had the exact same ingrown toe nail on my right foot 10 years ago. I knew my left toe would be ingrown so when It did I was unable to find my original podiatrist so I researched and Gary seemed like a good choice. I set up an appointment, went in and the nurses were all so very nice and friendly. Gary came in and seemed nice and numbed my toe and preformed the procedure similarly to what I was expecting until he took this tiny ice-cream scoop tool and removed the entire side of my cuticle. It did not look like it needed to be removed and the surgery id had done on my right foot 10 years ago didn’t, but I told myself “this is his profession surly he knows what he’s doing”. I had to remind him I had asked for the removed nail section to be deaden because he wasn’t going to do that. After it was all done he told me I had antibiotics sent to my pharmacy and handed me care instructions which he went over. I was not to soak my toe at all, just to keep his bandage on for a couple days then remove and just keep changing the bandages twice a day, no ointments. He told me that in 90 days if there was any issue that he would fix it for free, and I said good to know (cuticle thing worried me). I went back in a week and I pointed out the crater that was where my cuticle should be and the nurse didn’t appear to like how bad my toe looked but Gary said it looked like it was healing good. It was not, it was a blue and purple mess. I had 2 craters one was where the nail used to be (expected) and the other was the cuticle should have been. I called him 2 months later and said I’ve been following your instructions and have gotten 2 refills on the antibiotics and it still hasn’t healed and I was informed that I had to pay them again for him to fix it. I told them about his promise to fix it if in 90 days for free and they denied it saying I had to pay them again! I had already paid $400 cash for the original surgery because my insurance wouldn’t cover it, and I had been doing everything he said to get it to heal. I’ve tried pedicures, I’ve tried the healing instructions from several websites, the salt soak from my first toe surgery, I have tried everything to keep from having to go back in to a podiatrist and paying $$$ to have it redone. It has been infection free the entire time, my nail is healthy and growing normally and not ingrown, I check that every 2 weeks, I keep the cuticle groomed. I’ve researched how to pedicure so much I’m just as good as the pretty Asian girls that are the best. I have not met the doctor personally as I had an apt for 5/31/19. however I have cancelled this apt. the receptionist or young lady that answers the phones is very dry, quick and short tempered with me that I did not feel comfortable with pursuing it. Dr. Chandler needs to have a talk or hire some new staff because he is losing business with the young lady. I'm sure she is very sweet on a good day but I do not feel comfortable paying my money only to have bad service. I called the young lady twice one to see how I could submit my new patient paperwork before my appt to be proactive and than to ask about my co pay. each time it was as If I was bothering her. I asked for the email or fax number of where to send my paperwork she replies THE EMAIL WE SENT TO YOU FROM however she forgot the mailed it out to my house and did not email it. There are plenty of quick responses she has said to me that make me feel like I would not enjoy my apt or get my issues resolved. Being a physician myself, I have served on medical staff with Dr. Chandler in surgery departments, and he has always had an excellent reputation. So when I first had a painful ingrown toenail, I knew where to turn. Over the years, Dr. Chandler has performed multiple procedures on me, all of which have been very smooth and uneventful. He knows what he's doing! His staff is always accommodating and courteous. I would highly recommend Dr. Chandler for all things podiatry!

I've been seeing Dr. Chandler for 6 months and he is a great doctor. He knows what he's talking about. I love his staff as well.

Dr Chandler is an excellent podiatrist. I've had the pleasure of assisting him with surgical cases in the past as a Perioperative RN. So when I injured my left toe, I went to him. He's very versed in his profession. Also a great staff who make you feel important and sincere on their care given.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had! Dr. Chandler never answered the cause of my foot issue. He prescribed steroids, which my body can not tolerate. In addition he explained that it was safe to take 2500 milligrams of Naproxen Sodium for pain. There are many more reputable Podiatrists out there who will listen to your concerns and want to get to the root of the problem. I wouldn't even recommend Dr. Chandler's office to an enemy.
