I am 12 days out from life-saving surgery with another provider. This doctor reviewed my file for 2 conditions he does not treat (MALS and SMAS) and provided a letter to BCBS stating that he believes I do not have these conditions that were confirmed by 2 other experts. I hope he will see my review and spend time reading the updated literature on vascular compression syndromes. He is now potentially costing me my life or hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. “Do no harm” doesn’t seem to mean much from his oath.
