Dr. Gabriel Albert Sara

I don't even have enough words to describe how amazing Dr. Sara is! I have been a patient of his since 2014 and he literally saved my life twice! He is skilled at what he does and is the most humane and compassionate doctor I have ever run across. May God bless this man!

Dr. Sara is both a remarkable physician and human. He is compassionate, tells his patients the truth about their cancer - which is no small thing - and is a relentless advocate for his patients. I put my life in his hands, and I'm glad I did. HIghly, highly recommended.

I have never thought your can trust doctor that much. Very kind, attentive Doctor with amazing personality. All 5 years I was under his care ,I was very happy HE was my doctor and have no words to express my gratitude.

I was a patient of Dr. Sara over 20 yrs. ago and was just telling a friend who may need a really good oncologist about him. He was referred by a friend who he took excellent care of for years and who benefited from for more years of good quality of life before he passed. He was also recommended by a nurse who had worked with him. A Dr. in NJ told me I needed an immediate bone marrow done based on a blood test. Thank God I found Dr. Sara who after several blood tests and visits diagnosed me with a benign blood condition. Dr. Sara is a brilliant practitioner and a warm, compassionate human being...something very needed when one has a frightening diagnosis.

My husband was under the care of Dr. Sara throughout his illness. The entire experience was profound and heartwarming from the onset. The challenges along the way were aplenty, the pain enormous. But Dr. Sara made all these easier to bear, to hold on to hope, to face the inevitable. It was a great comfort for Hector to have been under his care. His honesty, compassion and patience touched us to the core. His availability,returning calls at all times, made those difficult moments bearable.

He is my doctor and I can honestly say he is one of the best doctors In his field. I trust him 100%.

Very compassionate about his patients and he is very straight to the point! We came in with hesitation and worries not knowing what to expect. By the end of the appointments​ going into treatment, our worries subsided as we focused on living our lives while Dr. Sara , his NP and the rest his team handled the rest. Loved to see my Doctor in the New York Magazine Best Doctors issue. I have a stage IV cancer and I have been with Dr. Sara for 3 years. Dr. Sara treats me as a whole person. He does not treat only my cancer. He picks the best choices of drugs to keep my cancer under control and maintain my dignity and my quality of life. He gives me time and listens to me. He cares and loves his patients. His assistant is amazing and we love her. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Sara treated my wife for 6 years after she was diagnosed with stage- 4 breast cancer. He is truly an extraordinary physician with skills that match his compassion. At our 1st appointment, he gently advised that there was no cure, but assured us that he would pursue a variety of treatment options that for the most part would maintain a good quality of life. He set her on a course of different therapies that sustained her life and, at his encouragement, allowed us to travel extensively.

I saw Dr. Sara for the first time today. I was impressed with his knowledge and superior ability to communicate. I would highly recommend him as a doctor. I rarely leave reviews but my visit warranted this review.

There is no one better than Dr. Sara! I was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer. I sat with my family and cried and then he sat down and talked with me and I listened to every word! Dr. Sara has something you cannot learn from a book or a lecture in medical school. He has the ability to connect with you as a patient and understand how you feel and he listens to you. He is an amazing human being and I am doing wonderful!

Dr. Sara has been a wonderful support for me all these years. He is extremely supportive, always readily available, genuinely caring, and encouraging. He really listens, and remembers what we discussed from one visit to the other. I'm just very thankful to have him on my side.

Dr Sara has been my physician for a few years since my melanoma diagnosis. HE is AMAZING, caring and incredibly knowledgeable. He is one of those physicians you don't find anymore. I would put ANY of my family members in his hands, you don't find doctors like him anymore
