Dr. Gabriel Nadel

I started seeing Dr. Gabe a few months ago of my back pain and he has been truly amazing. He explained the reasons behind my back pain and started the treatment, corrective and maintenance. I have to say that this is the first winter that I have had minimal pain in the last several years.

He helped me through an initial period of severe back pain and has continued to work with me on an ongoing basis to ensure I stay comfortable and adjusted properly. I have been under tge chiropractic care of Gabe for the last couple months and i have felt great relief recently and have had vast improvement in tge stability of my lower back and neck. Dr Nadal is extremely knowledgeable and has helped me deal with some real neck and shoulder issues over the last few months. His flexibility with scheduling or taking care of issues when they arise suddenly has been such a relief. Couldn’t recommend his practice more!

Dr. Nadel is an extremely skilled and knowledgeable chiropractor. He works holistically with massage, exercises and adjustments to ease pain and keep my body running smoothly. Perhaps Dr. Nadel is a good doctor. I haven't really gotten a chance to know, as his office is so poorly run that twice they have canceled appointments at the last minute. This is twice out of 4 times! I initially booked with his colleague, Dr. Avdiu. The initial visit was cancelled the day before with only a voicemail that I should call them to reschedule, and I wasn't able to be seen for another week. When I went in, I saw Dr. Avdiu, who was personable and professional, but at the END of the appointment, she informed me that she would not be my doctor (!) and that going forward I would be seeing Dr. Nadel, since she was leaving the practice. I was gobsmacked, and thought that it was in such bad faith to move forward with the appointment and the consultation knowing that she would no longer be part of this practice, and foisting another Doctor upon me! The front desk receptionist was incredibly rude, just really not personable in any way, and argued with me about my insurance plan. I let her know that I don't have a copay, and she said "We'll see. Many patients THINK they know about their plans, but I will find out when I call." Then she spent 5 minutes arguing with me about it. (I called my insurance prior to making the initial booking). Rather than simply calling my insurance carrier right then and there to find out, she insisted on charging me a $50 "hold" until the next visit. Given that I'm in fairly bad pain, I went ahead and agreed to see Dr. Nadel for ongoing appointments. At the next appointment, I showed up on time, and the receptionist was sitting there eating at the desk! Disgusting! She told me 15 minutes later that Dr. Nadel would be there soon, he was out on his lunch break. I wondered why I would be scheduled to be seen at a time that the Doctor is at lunch. When he finally arrived, he told me the truth, which was that they had neglected to note my appointment in their booking system, and she phoned him, and he came from the gym to see me. Complete lack of organization! He was alright, and adjusted me, and he was somewhat apologetic, but had no justification for the problems of his practice, and didn't really take responsibility for any of it. I was set to go back this week, but again, they cancelled my appointment just hours before with only a text message! no phone call, and no call back in the 2 days since. The office is small, cramped, and is badly in need of renovation. The equipment is old, and the actual exam room is so cramped that you can barely move around in it. This review is for the office's front desk and the billing. The doctor is friendly and professional, but the front desk person is the rudest that i've ever encountered and the billing "company" that they claim to use is really horrible to deal with. I have a high deductible BCBS which covers 100% after deductible is met. I went to the doctor's place for about 7 times and paid each time even though every time they say they can't contact my insurance. The last time i was asked to pay upfront again even though i checked that i had fully met the deductible and the insurance had paid them for at least 4 visits already. I ask if they could stop charging me this upfront fee and work out with the insurance first. I showed them the records of insurance payment. The front desk person keeps claiming that she doesn't see any payment and I'll have to work with the "billing company" and have to bring the benefit explanation document to them to get refunds. I ask if they could send a bill to me instead but she keeps saying that it's the doctor's policy and "she doesn't receive a penny in her pocket". And from there she just completely lost the professionalism and said that i came to her "with full of attitude" even though she was the one that was rude to begin with. I had to use patient advocacy service to try to get over 300 dollars back and it has been 5 months i still haven't received any refund. The patient advocacy service had to interact with them for multiple times and each time they found reason to delay the refund. Till now i've completely given up the hope of receiving the refund. This is among the worst medical experience that i have ever encountered and i hope that others can be warned about their billing practice. This review is for the office's front desk and the billing. Since I have been seeing Dr. Nadel, my back has never felt better. He truly listens and cares about his patients. His front desk is awesome. Simply a pleasure to go to his office.

Dr Nadel in Mountainside NJ is a great man who truly cares about his patients. For a long time i was suffering with chronic neck pain issues and in a short amount of time he has really improved my quality of life. In that short time the pain has decrease significantly and I cannot wait to finish my treatment and see where I am in progress at the end of this journey. I had an appointment at Everest's midtown location on 57th street. I was struggling with some back and neck pain, and came to Dr. Nadel for a solution. Dr. Nadel was very friendly and patient, and talked me through the logic and science of what he was doing while he worked on me. Confession: I usually hate doctors and I usually hate going to the doctor. But Dr. Nadel's practice is small and patient-focused , which really made a difference to me. I've been a patient of Dr. Nadel for a year now and must say he's a great individual. As an athlete I've had a hard time maintaining my body but after a few sessions with the Doc I was back to feeling brand new. Will recommend any day 100%.

I had a tibial fracture five years ago that left me with cronic pain. I have been under permanent care with several orthopedists that had told me that I had to learn how to live wiht the pain and, as a last resort, one of them suggested visitng a chiropractor. I have read other reviews saying that when arriving to the office they make you watch a video and read some material. That is all true but I guess they do it because there must be a lot of people that are not familiar with this medical practice. I have been going to Dr. Gabe since July and I couldn't be happier. My pain dramatically decreased in a month and my ankle and my back are getting stronger and now, after three months, I'm pain free. From the moment I walked in, I was taken care of and informed of every step of my visit. Dr. Nadel had me watch a short video before beginning the first appointment. That was really interesting for me because I've never seen a chiropractor before then! The first visit was about 45 minutes including my wait time. Every other doctor always makes you wait forever! But I was seen right away and he answered all the questions I had. We scheduled a return visit to go over the findings from the x-ray I had to get done. His approach to the problem was very methodical and he came up with a comprehensive healing plan for my neck ache. Following the first adjustment, I regained most of the mobility in my neck.
