Disregards anything you say. Does not make you feel like your concerns matter. Had she taken my concerns and condition seriously the cavernous malformation in my brain could have been caught before it bled.

I just finished a very unpleasant meeting with Dr. Hisama whose attitude was extremely pretentious and condescending. She belabored obvious information and repeated several times what genetic testing isn't able to do while utterly failing to be clear on what its capabilities are. I just finished meeting with this person who whose attitude was extremely pretentious. She spent the entire time explaining what genetic testing isn't able to do, while utterly failing in being clear on what it is capable of. She and her cohorts belabored obvious information in an insufferably condescending fashion. I don't recommend her to anyone.

UWGeneticist,DrHisama,was unbelievably rude&disrespectful to me,kept looking at the clock&treated me like I was garbage&utter waste of time.She said genetic testing is $4000,not covered under charity care&even though I'm of Ashkenazi ancestry&have multiple incidences of cancer in my family&told her my providers strongly urge genetic testing,she screamed at me,I DON'T CARE.I complained to SCCA&they emailed me they'd respond in30days but have not.I've had to file multiple complaints.

I went to see dr.Hisama several months ago and it was the single worst experience I have had with a doctor. She was extremely rude to the point where she would roll her eyes and sigh with exasperation when my mom or I asked her basic questions about tumors in my spine and possible prevention. She tried to rush us out the door and was highly condescending. She was more concerned with asking if I smoke (I have never touched a cigarette) and wouldn't believe my answer then discussin the tumors in my spine. When she finally addressed the actual issue she had no knowledge of my type of tumors and is now preventing me from seeing the specialit's that I actually need to see because of her lack of knowledge. Her behavior was unacceptable for someone in her position and I have never been so appalled by a Healthcare professional's behavior.
