His nurse is rude and thinks she is a dr. Also he refused to refill my meds that I need every day. Said to take every other day which I could not do or pass out.

My wife sees him for her thyroid. He takes time in his very busy practice to ask questions and answer her questions. He follows up with blood tests and ultrasounds to keep up with her thyroid. Her sister is a nurse practitioner and has had her husband going to him for diabetes for years and he has developed me an excellent job. If you want things sugar-coated and a yes man to you not following what you need to do then don't go to him. He is going to tell you what you need to.do to help your problem and if you chose not to then he will tell you your consequences good and bad. Terrible doctor. Literally told me that my hypoglycemia was “in my head” and he saw no issue. Considering my blood glucose would drop to low 40s and 50s nearly everyday numerous times a day I think there was obviously an issue! But he laughed it off and never helped me. I stopped going and never booked anymore appointments with him. Took another year for me to figure out on my own what was causing my sugar to drop. No thanks to him. DO NOT RECOMMEND. and his breath usually smelled pretty bad.

Lied in front of the diabetic educator. Didnt want to listen to my husband when he knows his body better than anyone. One of the worst doctors he's ever had! I would never recommend him!

One of the worst physicians I have ever had to see. Very poor bedside manners. Didn’t listen to any of my concerns and then dismissed them with a wave of his hand. I have been a patient of his for about two years and after each visit, I tell myself that this is it, no more. After seeing him today, I will never go back. Efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I have been seeing him for about two years. He is always pleasant, spends as much time with me as I need and has provided excellent care and instruction.

I've had 2 appointments. The first was with Dr. Ferraro and I was very impressed with him and very positive about getting help for diabetes management. However - the second appointment was with his (diabetic care) Nurse. She was unprofessional, abrupt, rude, condescending - basically an obnoxious person. Due to her lack of professionalism and general attitude I made no further appointments with Lexington Endo. A real shame that a staff member is killing the practice. David H, Columbia SC

Horrible listener.. Wanted xrays and didn't even meet me to discuss.. They took 10 unnecessary xrays.. Then he came in and was short and cut me off.. Then said pain was just a perception.. I've gone to charlotte since then and have seen an amazing doctor.. NO PAIN.. stay away

I'm not sure what the other reviewers experienced with Dr. Ferraro, but my experience was nothing close to what they're reporting. After reading the reviews I became very concerned about seeing the doctor. Considering how hard it may be to get another endocrinologist, I decided to keep my appointment. Dr. Ferraro was attentive, he asked lots of questions to get my family and personal history...he acted and treated me like any other doctor would have. Worst doctor ever! Another DOCTER told me dr f is known for telling his patients they have a cancer or other serious problem but they don’t. Dr f is in West Columbia now. I know several of his patients! All have quit him. He will prescribe meds but not tell you why! Gets mad if you ask questions! Two members of his staff spoke bad of him and said they won’t see him or allow family members too. Beware of this docter, he’s dangerous!!!! I would give no stars in most catigores if I could!

Both Dr. Ferraro and his nurse Debbie are very professional and friendly at the same time. I appreciate that both of them convey a sincere interest in me and, while they are efficient, they ask questions and I never feel rushed.

Poor listening skills. Unconcerned about doing any tests that could diagnose what is going on with my thyroid. When I asked questions, he didn't answer with clarity. Spent very little time with me to address any concerns I had. It was like he just didn't care !!!
