Had to pay out of pocket and he was short and almost annoyed or even repulsed by treating me. I had to bring my young children with me and he barely made eye contact with them or me. No new treatment options, just more of the same song and dance. Save yourself a visit and find a real specialist who actually cares about your concerns and takes time to listen. Never going back to O’Day. I wish Dr. Kull was still around.

Pleasant and efficient.Timely appt and professional practice. Lots of education on TMJ with options given albeit expensive. Pleased with the services.

Dr. O’Day is a nice man and gave me good advice on how to prevent my TMJ pain. However, I found it obnoxious to pay $14 every 6 months just for him to tell me the same thing during a 5 minute appointment. ($14 is just what my co-insurance says I have to pay. Rates will be different based on your own insurance.) also I’ve had issues with their billing department. They sent me a no-show fee for an appointment that I never scheduled. Then they were rude when I called them and politely asked to remove the fee. They said they called me to remind me of my appointment but I very clearly had no calls, texts, or emails from them. They did end up removing the fee, but not without an attitude.

I get the impression that Dr. O'day's treatment plan for every single TMJ patient is identical, so let me save you the trip. Stop clenching your jaw. Put heat packs on it. Eat soft food. Purchase this very expensive mouth guard. There was minimal effort to determine the origin of my jaw issues or to prescribe a personalized treatment plan. I've since visited a different TMJ specialist who took multiple xrays, measured the angles of my bite, the levels of my shoulders, questioned my medical history, and even looked into procedures that may have been done at the moment of my birth (were forceps used?) to come up with my TMJ treatment plan. If you want to feel like an easy cash grab, by all means visit Dr. O'Day. If you want to get a personalized treatment plan for your jaw problems, seek care elsewhere. Quoted me one price... billed my insurance company 3 x more than I was quoted - took advantage of my insurance.

I was having so much pain I thought I had cracked a tooth. I went to the dentist and they recommended Dr. O'Day. I must say that following his advice and using his mouth guard has saved my life. I’ve had TMJ for 10 years that has turned into arthritis. Although it is not reversible, the mouth guard is 100% worth the $1000 it costs. I no longer have a migraine everyday that I can hardly open my eyes to get out of bed because I was clenching my jaw all night, his recommendations definitely helped especially when I am in pain and how to relax your jaw to help. This doctor caused me pain during his exam, sent me for $335 worth of MRI imaging, then wouldn't see me for more than two months while they waited for my insurance to approve the device, even though they mysteriously have some sort of agreement with someone who works for Blue Cross/Blue Shield to get these mouth guards approved. When I told the office I was in pain, I was accused of not following their recommendations (what recommendations? I wasn't in pain when I when to see him-- only after he stuck his finger in my ear and pushed something out of alignment) then told, basically, to eat soft food. For how long? Two months wasn't enough? He's an expert in pain management? No, he's an expert at charging for unnecessary devices that have no basis in scientific fact. Seriously-- look it up. If you have TMJ, you do not need a $1,000 bite guard or someone who calls himself a "specialist" when no such thing exists. There is NO standard of care when it comes to TMJ. He may as well sell snake oil. I have been in pain all day and night for over two months and there's nothing I can do, because there's nothing he can do. It's made me severely depressed. Best Dr to take care of TMJ issues!!

My TMJ problem is starting to get under control for first time in years...... Thank You Dr O'Day

Dr. O'Day is one of my favorite doctors. He listens carefully, explains everything, and keeps me updated on my progress. I have never had to wait beyond my appointment time, and am feeling much better than when I first started seeing him.

Dr. O'Day has changed the quality of my life; before I saw him I had severe ear, head, and neck pain on an average of 5 out of 7 days of the week. I am now virtually pain-free, I only have a headache 1 or 2 days of the month, and those are probably just stress-related. Thank you Dr. O'Day!!!

After listening to Dr. O'Day's recommendations and starting to use the mouth device specially made for me, my pain has reduced dramatically. I HIGHLY recommend taking TMJ syndrome seriously, seeing Dr. O'Day and listening to his professional advice to help cure your symptoms.

I’m feeling much better and I trust Dr Oday and his Staff. They are very professional and they care about their patients. I’m happy , I decided to choose Dr Oday as my Dr.

This doctor and his staff are horrible. I was in no pain when I went to see him, but I was in a lot of pain after he examined me. His advice was to eat soft food and use moist heat... for more than two months. He sent me for out-of-pocket MRIs and wanted $1,000 for a night guard plus $150 for a lower teeth protector. I was actually going to follow through with this lunacy until I called his office to ask for help with my pain and they rudely accused me of not following their instructions.

This doctor is not helpful and his staff are rude. His office is dingy and depressing and impossible to find.

I find the Dr. To be Accommodating & Accurate on my diagnosis. The Dr. & staff are very friendly. Thanks to him I have no pain now in my jaw. I would recommend Dr. O'Day to anyone.

Suffered with jaw pain for years. Was referred by my dentist. I have been a patient for two years and happy to say I am TMJ pain free. Would highly recommend!

I did not enjoy my experiences with Dr. O'day. I have severe TMJ and the mouth guard he recommends, which is $1000, only made things worse. My chiropractor and dentist have helped to relieve my pain. I do not recommend his services.

Dr. O'day has done all he can for over 8 years to relieve my pain and figure out the root of the problem in my jaw. Severe TMD. When I first came I could barely eat, talk, smile, and especially sleeping was my enemy. I have been so happy and completely satisfied with all his time and effort he has put in to my case and to date has almost completely relieved my extreme unbearable pain.
