Dr. Francine T Cwyk

Went to this office for 2 root canals. One tooth was infected, so root canal completed on the uninfected tooth and antibiotic prescribed for infected tooth. Returned a month later for second root canal. Experienced incredible pain and asked for antibiotic (had multiple root canals and never experienced anything like this). Was told it wasn't needed. Contacted office two days later due to intense pain and abnormal swelling and numbness. Saw dentist and placed on antibiotic. Swelling and pain only further intensified which required treatment at a hospital. I could have died. I missed a great deal of work and half of my face swelled up to the size of a baseball. I was unable to concentrate. This would likely have been completely prevented if 1)I was assessed for active infection prior to treatment and 2)provided an antibiotic as requested at time of treatment. Very friendly and welcoming office. Dr. Seigel was wonderful.

Dr Cwyk is not only a skilled technician but a knowledgeable and caring endodontist. She went out of her way to take care of my tooth in a timely manner so that I could keep my travel plans to the west coast. I had no pain during the procedure.

It was my first root canal, and Dr. Cwyk was great. She and her staff had very good bedside manner and did a good job at explaining the procedure and what to expect. It went about as well as you'd expect a root canal to go. She was very attentive and did solid follow up afterwords. Would definitely go back if I need another one.

Dr. Cwyk was awesome! She was very calm and eased my fears. She explained what was going to happen so I knew what to expect. Not that I ever want to have another root canal (because I DO NOT!!) but if I have to I will definitely go back to Dr. Cwyk!
