Not sure why the bad reviews. I use to see this doctor back in 2017 and came back due to the disaster of endocrinologist I was forced to change due to my employer switching insurance. This doctor from visit 1 got me on the best treatment for my diabetes. They always give me free samples. The front ladies have been nothing but sweet and professional. At least to me. A doctor that isn’t up to date with anything. Do not trust this doctor he does not know any current research and will only pay attention to your number on the scale and not you as a person

Went running from a getto environment and bad endocrinologist office to another that charges a lot of money for a 15 mins visit and don’t sort any issue, no suggestions, no referrals leaving the patient more confused that already is. Stay away and check the reviews first.

Dr. Henriquez is an excellent doctor who takes time to listen to whatever concerns you may have in a very caring manner. His staff is always helpful and gets back to you quickly with results.I have been a patient for many years and I would highly recommend this office!

I have been seeing Dr Fidel Henriquez for many years. I chose Dr Fidel after I had to have a thyroid biopsy done in Memorial West and he was the one who did it. He was so nice and kind to me and made me feel so comfortable and not nervous at all for the procedure that after it was done I thought to myself I want this guy to be my endocrinologist. I am a patient of Dr.Enriquez for few yrs.he's a good Dr.but his office staff unprofessional rude, no cooperative i am trying to reach the office to make an appoitment for two weeks left messages no respond.if i see him again i will tell him whats going on for sure.

I have been a patient of Dr. Henriquez for years and have never had a complaint. He is always thorough and takes his time to answer your questions .

Good Dr. would have given a five but showed no compassion when I was in a though situation after moving out of state. Was told to visit a urgent care center to get a refill of a medicine I was about to run out of through no fault of my own. All he had to do was call in a refill to allow me to have enough medicine to get in to see my endocrinologist. Who wouldn't see me without my new insurance card which I had no received yet.

STAY AWAY!!!! The staff here is extremely rude, unprofessional and just straight up ghetto. The first time I went here I was immediately turned off and didn't return. I was calling the office because I needed the request for a blood panel to be sent to Quest for my other doctor and they kept putting me on hold, I literally screamed wait just give me a minute and they hung up on me and they then continued to send me to voicemail for over an hour. I called from another number and it went through (seems like they blocked me)... they told me the reason they were so rude to me, hung up on me and then blocked my number is because they're short staffed.... so I asked why wouldn't you have simply said that to me when I was being so polite with you? The response I got was "well that's what it is". Please avoid this office at all costs. There are so many other better doctors in the area. trying to get my medicine here is like trying to win the lotto, nearly impossible. the staff never answer, i always get the emergency after hours answer machine. you can call at any time and they wont answer, and then they blame it on them being busy. ive been there and that old female grinch never likes to pick up the calls. dr henriquez is great but i think he treats my sessions like therapy time and instead of leaving with a prescription that works, i leave with a feeling like im doing something wrong and a prescription that doesnt work. i have to call my health insurance like 8 times bc even though i tell them i need a prior authorization they still dont do it properly. trying to get my medicine here is like trying to win the lotto, nearly impossible. the staff never answer, i always get the emergency after hours answer machine. you can call at any time and they wont answer, and then they blame it on them … More

Dr. Henriques needs to spend more time researching what he suggests to patients. He told my wife that she will be the reason our daughters have diabetes because of a diabetes gene unless she gets her weight under control. If you actually see the doctor, he seemed to be a great doctor. However, the front desk is a disaster, never answers the phone and is basically rude. Of the four scheduled appointments I was only able to see the doctor once despite having nodules that required evaluation every six months. My last visit I was expecting a follow up ultrasound by the doctor only to find out he wasn't even in the office and they lost their cable internet so I could not even get my bloodwork results. He is a wonderful doctor, but just like every other review here, his front desk is extremely rude and unprofessional. They rarely answer the phone or call back, they have forgotten to send lab scripts to quest and if you ask them any questions, you will feel it is a bother. I met Dr Henriquez in ‘2011 bcuz I was diagnosed w/hyperthyroidism. Short story, I now have hypothyroidism. He successfully reversed my condition to the one that is more treatable. Ever since meeting him & his staff I have been so happy with the care that I receive. He has explained everything to me about my condition. Keep a watch on my progression. I love how important he makes me feel about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Nov ‘17, I turned 65 & he’s not under my plan. I am MISERABLE!

It is sad that Dr. Henriquez is a good doctor. But very unsatisfying staff. This is the third time my mom gets the run around. This is due to a referral issue or blood results. That bcz of their fire alarm last month. It was cancel and the referal expired. You would think the doctor will set their staff straight. And ask them to atleast make a courtesy phone to the primary doctor or insurance for an extension. If you need a good Endocronologist I recommend Dr. Harrell. No matter what time of the day you call you have to leave a message. You don't get a call back. Seems that either no one wants to answer the phone or they are always closed.

Dr. Henriguez is wonderful! THE PHONE LINE DOESN'T WORK AND HIS STAFFS ARE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! They make a simple thing complicated for no reason! They are always cranky and unpleasant. Very unapproachable...again for NO REASON! PLEASE DR. HENRIQUEZ change your staff!

Very nice doctor, my only problem is each time I receive my referral from my insurance company the office gives me an appointment after the referral expires, which means that I have to apply for a new one, and some how some of his office staff doesn't seems pleasant enough to care.

I have seen this physician for over 6 years and I have always felt like this was a family. Fabulous staff. I have seen other dr's there too. I have an insurance change. Dr. Henriquez is super and his staff. I appreciate all he has done and made me feel at ease . Rita and staff are just good people period. I appreciate each and every one of you so much.

Someone recommended me to Dr. Henriquez when I first moved to Florida with no insurance and uncontrolled diabetes. I explained my situation regarding the cost of insulin and my inability to pay those costs, he listened and told me about programs that existed to help for meds! I am alive because he helped me find alternatives to get medication that I needed! I wish he accepted all insurance plans would definetly go back.

Dr Henriquez was perfectly polite; however, his staff is rude and disrespectful. Anything they have to do is an inconvenience to them and they are not afraid to tell you just how little your business means to them. For health care workers they've really lost the idea that they are dealing with ill, sometimes scared, patients. I'm not sure I'll be going back.

Dr. Henriquez is a great doctor but I don't think his office personnel is as professional and caring as he is. I asked to speak to him after a phone call for my medicine dosage to be increase and was told the doctor does not speak to patients. I was asked to speak to the office manager and was told that he manages the office himself. Can any one believe this? He could be the best doctor but he needs to know what is going on with his office personnel. Wish could write more.
