Dr. Fernando Navarro helped my son with a problem we didn't even know he had, and since then, my son's quality of life has improved dramatically. I'm very thankful to have found Dr. Navarro and his staff. Highly recommend.

Dr. Navarro spent plenty amount of time to listen and answer our questions regarding our baby. We didn't feel rushed. There was very little wait at arrival. His nurse was a male and he was very good with the baby. Dr. Navarro referred us to another specialist and dietitian, making sure we didn't leave feeling hopeless and checking out all the boxes he could think of as far as the baby goes . I took my 8 months old to this doctor. Because he was spitting up severely liquid and sold. I explains to the doctor my concerns and that even if he eats 2 oz he still spit up and sometimes projectile. He did not touch him and he told me he is over fed. Which is not the case. My son now is 10 months and still spits up a lot. No improvement. I took him to 2 doctors and they did not even order ultrasound for his digestive system to better diagnose. No medicine for his reflux. 10 months of misery. No labs. Just their own judgment. This not the best practice of care. And I feel helpless as a mom seeing my son suffer and medicine in this contrary becoming so defensive and so money oriented . I took my 8 months old to this doctor. My 6 year was seen by Dr. Navarro. I saw some bad reviews but I’m glad we chose him. He was great! He took his time explaining things. Asked a lot of questions. Was not on a hurry like some doctors. Very positive experience. We will definitely follow up with him in a few months.

We have had bad experiences with the office staff when trying to reach Dr. Navarro but that is the UT issue. He is a wonderful doctor that has been very thorough. We have been admitted to the hospital multiple times under his care and have always been very pleased.

We live out in Conroe area and well worth the drive. We've never had to wait long, he's very thorough and takes the time to talk with us and explain things. The office staff is amazing also. Very personable.

I wish I would have read reviews before choosing to take my daughter there. My daughter has had a a feeding issue since birth, she has not been diagnosed with anything as of yet, I choose this MD because of the long wait with Texas Childrens Either his method of doing business is lousy or his staff is lazy. I have been trying to get a hold of this MD for some time now, each and every time that I call, I am being told that he is in Clinic. Long story short, I am still waiting for my issue to get resolved. I wish I would have read reviews before choosing to take my daughter there. Terrible experience with this "Doctor". After being diagnosed with Crohn's disease I saw Dr. Navarro multiple times to ensure everything was going well and healing properly after my surgery. NOTE: Skip to the end for a brief summary, or read the whole thing for the entire run down of the situation. I made it VERY clear that taking medicine for Crohn's was against my personal beliefs. He continued to push medicine and invoked a feeling of fear that if I did not take the medicine I would end up needing surgery again soon after. Against my personal beliefs I let the fear induce me into taking 6MP (Mercaptopurine), which I was to take every day basically for the rest of my life since there is no cure for Crohn's. To make a long story short, 6MP made my life a living hell for the first 6-8 months of my Freshman year in an out-of-state college where I had no family. I woke up every morning feeling tired, groggy, and always had a stomach ache due to the feeling of an empty stomach. This medicine not only ruined my freshman year of college, but also made me lose hope in modern Doctors and health-care. I stopped taking the medicine, but still felt crappy for another 2-3 months before finally returning to my previous (pre-med) well-being. Two and a half years later I still haven't needed another surgery for Crohn's and have remained relatively symptom free. ----My point is, a Doctor NEEDS to consider the interests of his/her patients and GUIDE that patient to making an informed decision based on their own interests (and not the interests of the Doctor). A good Doctor would have provided me with statistics of taking medicine vs. not taking medicine and shared his/her honest opinion with me. Dr. Navarro was likely paid by 6MP to push their products to patients (though I can't say for sure because Dr's have the right to hide this info from patients...seems twisted considering Lawyer's are REQUIRED by law to disclose any possible conflicts of interest) which led him to making a decision based on his own interests rather than my personal interests. HORRIBLE doctor. Do not take your child to see him unless you want to feel like you have thrown your money out the back door. We waited well over an hour to see him only to be told that doesn't know what is wrong with my son and we'll just have to wait and see what happens in a few months. No plans for testing, scans, NOTHING. He is a child but supposed to live with stomach pain for months??? Not what I wanted to see in a specialist. The whole reason we saw him was because our pediatrician recommended we see a specialist and he had the shortest wait time for an appointment. I know why now, he knows as much as I do and I am not making $$$. I will be making an appointment with another doctor who knows what they are doing.
