I don’t even know where to start because every review is absolutely correct! Dr. Manalac-Orthopedic is amazing. He cares and he take the time to explain I detail your condition and offer alternatives. He cares and his staff is just as wonderful as he is. Nadine is extremely unprofessional and rude. She hung on on me mid phone call due to it being “closing time” even it was 15 minutes before 4pm. I was shocked by how I was treated by her. She is incompetent. Completely switched doctors because of her.

I scheduled a visit with Dr. Fernando Manalac because of his great reviews and he delivered in every way. I previously saw 2 other doctors for a rotator cuff tear. I know what it feels like, since I had surgery years ago on the same shoulder. The other 2 doctors were in a rush, did not pay attention to what I was saying and they simply suggested pain meds and Physical therapy based on an X-Ray, which only reveals bone and not muscle tissue. Dr. Manalac, took his time, listened and he confirmed that I had another tear based on a ultra sounds in his office and made recommendations of couple shots and within days, I was pain free without pills. It only took a single visit to be pain free which reflects his experience. Additionally, he made available to me other options which the other 2 doctors never made. I have been very pleased with the care I have received from Dr. Manalac. I had to go during the pandemic and the systems established by Dr. Manalac and his staff were safe and efficient. Amazing!! I have suffered with 2 bad knees for too long., He was aware that I was not certain about receiving the Synvisc-One injection and very patient with me, and just last week I decided to try it!! Dr. Manalac is beyond kind and has a wonderful way of making his patient feel very relaxed. The procedure was carefully performed to both my knees without any discomfort. I am most appreciative to Alicia, who gave me the support and faith to believe it can make a "big" difference and to Dr. Manalac who DEFINITELY made a real difference!!! I was so lucky to have been referred to Dr Manalac by a good friend. He is very professional, but at the same time friendly, caring, gentle and thorough in diagnosing my pain, and deciding on the right path for a quick recovery. He also went above and beyond to put me in touch with someone that could have an answer for my non-medical questions. His PA Dennis is also quite knowledgeable, caring, and concerned with my health. I would recommend them to anyone with orthopedic issues!

Fantastic staff & Doctor !

Dr. Manalac and his staff are very good, he is very caring and takes note of what you tell him about your concerns. I have full confidence in his care and I am sure I will back doing the sports I love to do. I am 59 years old and I have just worn out my body - my body is like a car with 100K miles on it...but he does not make me feel foolish for still wanting to enjoy my outdoor sports or doing the sports that caused all the wear and tear. When I get all my parts working again, I will take good care of them - very grateful for Dr. Manalac!!

Dr. Manalac..."The Best"... My initial consult was the most thorough exam I have experienced with a doctor. Dr. Manalac and his team are caring, professional and attentive. Dr. Manalac makes you feel like you are his only patient ... the reason local athletes have flocked to his practice is they know that he will recommend a variety of treatments and rehab ... his patients know that if he can not help you with those options, because he does not do surgery, he will recommend a good surgeon.

June 2020 Consult with Dr. Manalac went well, as he was very clear as to his evaluation and treatment plan. Very good visit to discuss my ailment and possible treatment. Staff was very helpful and explained every step of the diagnosis and possible treatments. The Dr spent a great deal of time with me - which I was pleasantly surprised about. I would definitely recommend his team for any sports medicine / orthopedic related issues.

I recently saw Dr. Manalac for a problem with shoulder pain. Dr Manalac and his assistant, Dustin, took a lot of time after looking at x-rays and determining what the problem was. Dr. Manalac took time to explain and by using ultrasound, gave me a couple of shots which eliminated the pain. He and his staff were very professional and I am very pleased with the results and am so happy to have gotten the recommendation to see him. I would highly recommend him.

I had an impingement in my shoulder. He diagnosed it with ultrasound and treated it with an injection. The pain was gone and I was very satisfied with Dr. Manalac as a physician and his bedside manner.

Excellent! Not only, him, but the staff were the very best professionals. I had been to a previous orthopedic physician (whom I lost all confidence). Dr. Manalac diagnosed my hip problem within 30 minutes. After almost 3 months of being in pain, he resolved this problem! I am happy to add him to my regimen of physicians who look after my health! Plus...they are with the Holly Cross Medical Group!

I can't recommend Dr Manalac highly enough. His professionalism, caring and competence is second to none. With 78 year old knees that are bone on bone ( for the last 15 years) and a desire to avoid knee replacement for as long as possible, after all, knee replacement would interrupt my tennis schedule for at least a year, Dr Manalac has given me injections that ease the discomfort of no cartilage allowing me to continue to play tennis and continue working out with little or no pain. The injections are painless, the conversation always a delight and the atmosphere a pleasure. Having been to sports med specialists in the past, Dr Manalac and his team are without a doubt the very best. He and his team have set the bar for all others to strive for.

If you could give 20 stars I would, incredible Diagnostician, caring bedside manner, Skillful with the needles and an all around wonderful human being. Call today before his practice stops taking new patients and the secret is out. He is the BEST of the best. I had 2 1/2 years of horrible pain. After one visit I was 90%, 2 visits 100%.. can’t say enuf good. He is the real deal! Thank you Dr Manalac and staff.

There is not one other doctor on whom I can rely for honest, accurate, and compassionate care. Though there are times that waiting to see him is required, in my opinion, it is well worth the wait because I know that I will be treated well.

Dr. Manalac and his staff were extremely friendly and comforting. I always enjoyed my interactions with Dr. Manalac because he took the time to address my injury and the subsequent recovery process. Fantastic doctor and staff. Dr Manalac spends plenty of time with you. Very thorough examination, explains issues so you can inderstand. I would not go to any other orthopedic doctor. Always have gotten great results. I would strongly suggest to check his practice out before you even consider going to another doctor.

After a knee injury at the gym, I booked an appointment with Dr. Manalac. The staff who did the xrays was complete and very friendly. Dr Manalac was amazing. This guy listens to your experiences and does a through assessment of the injury and options. This is a really good doctor!

As an avid 61 year old runner I started to experience severe knee pain and little seemed to help including cortisone injections. One physician suggested my running days were over and there was little to be done. I found Dr Manalac who is a proponent of varying therapies that didn't start with surgery just what I was looking for. After some hard work with physio, correcting my gate, and a synvisc 1 shot I am back running 5 miles a day. Needless to say I am one of his biggest fans.

I am a competing masters swimmer. Dr Manalac is a 10above the 5 excellent Mark. Whole stand very friendly, compassionate and very professional and knowledgeable about how to treat ortho problems. Without his care, I would not be a competitive athlete at my age. Best ortho doc I have ever been treated by hands and swim fins down!

This is my first review for a doctor. I literally love Dr. Manalac. I went to him for my knees thinking that he would do a PRP procedure. He could have take my money, but instead he said that it would be a waste and that I need physical therapy to fix the tracking on my knees. He was right. I will recommend Dr. Manalac to my athletic friends. I have Achilles tendinitis and am over 50. Dr. Manalac did not suggest I quit running, he saw that I was compensating from a previous injury. I’m in physical therapy and am running again.

The Dr. recommended PT for my shoulder pain. In 10 PT sessions I experienced significant improvement in mobility and pain relief. I recommend Dr. Manalac and his practice. His staff is knowledgeable and courteous.

As I have aged, though I am very active, I have suffered various muscular and joint injuries. Never has Dr. Manalac made me feel old or beyond rehabilitation. In fact, he has been my biggest supporter in finding new and or different ways to accommodate my aging body parts while continuing to exercise, practice yoga, and play golf. He listens, encourages, and suggests treatment and therapies available, working in partnership with his patients. His concern and expertise are a rare combination.

My review concerns this Doctor's staff only, since I was not allowed to see the Dr. because I did not have my insurance card. They already had all my current insurance and personal info on file as it was required BEFORE I was able to even request an appointment date. Dr. Manalac is a great guy and caring person who takes the time to get to know his patients as well as diagnose and treat their ailments. All this is made even the better when you meet his staff. Kara his assistant is the best. Always there to greet you with a smile and has never failed to help out when necessary. Mimi the appointment coordinator has the patience of a saint paired with a smile that comes right through the phone.

This is the second time I had an appointment with Dr. Manalac...first time around we went over my MRI's and what they meant and how they related to my situation. He made some suggestions that were wonderful...a few days ago I saw him again under a more "emergency" situation...I begged his staff to squeeze me in and they did...they were great....again, Dr. Manalac was kind, caring, compassionate...amazing....THIS is the kind of Dr. the world needs more of...I was so grateful they squeezed me in and at the end of our appointment he actually hugged me...amazing.....so many Doctors don't realize that just being made to feel the doctor actually CARES goes a long way in how successful the treatment is.
